- Freely adjustable dashboard to personalise what you want to see and where,
- Airline operations have multiple ways to visualise your operations,
- Tackling many aspect of aviation such as Bush,GA (instruction,scenic,trial lesson,air taxi...),Cargo,Pax,Charter (wet lease,ACMI,Ferry...)
- Utilising the in-built EFB to relay various information( incl. visuals)
- Hand written story missions (multi-legs with a sense of accomplishment at the end) unlocked by prestige levels.

I'm currently in China and buying directly from Taobao, so local pricing is great. I’m torn between two options, both including their hydraulic dampers:

• Winwing Orion Rudder Pedals (with damper): ~1647 RMB ($230 USD)
• Moza MRP Rudder Pedals (with damper): ~1850 RMB ($260 USD)

My current setup: I just bought the Moza AB6 FFB base and the Moza MTQ throttle.

The price difference is small (around $30 USD), so budget isn't the main issue here. I will also be transporting everything back home in my luggage without their original boxes, wrapped in clothes.

Going with the Moza MRP seems like a no-brainer to keep everything unipartite in the Pit House ecosystem and plug it straight into the AB6 base. However, I’ve read some reviews mentioning that the Moza damper can feel a bit sticky/stiction heavy near the center, and that it doesn't return 100% to center with lighter springs. On the other hand, the Winwing seems like a proven, bulletproof "tank" with its SUS304 steel cams, even though changing springs requires tools. I don't care about the Winwing's sim racing lock feature, this is for flight sim only (DCS/MSFS).

For those who have tested or own either of these:

1. Is the Moza stiction/stickiness really a dealbreaker for fine inputs, or is it easily fixed with spring tension/settings?
2. Is it worth breaking the Moza ecosystem to get the Winwing mechanical reliability?
3. Which one is safer/easier to pack raw inside a suitcase?

I thinked of FSX, but then i found out that it runs on 32 bit.

24fpm, in an a320 too of all things. Really happy considering just a month ago I barely knew how to execute an ILS approach

And yes, before you say it I am aware its not 'realistic' or deemed safe but I still touched the landing zones where I was supposed too.

Does anyone know if Flight Sim Factory or Pro Desk Sim addons are cross compatible between the Bravo and Bravo Lite?

I've been a fan of aviation all of my life, I decided to start getting deeper into learning about aviation more and eventually I want to go for my pilots license.

I wanna get into dcs and looking into buying a good quality stick and throttle, i was looking into the warthog since its very reccomended, but for the same/similiar price i can get a winctrl (known as winwing i think) orion 2 hotas (still the warthog version), so, yeah the budget is in those price (500/600 EUROS, i searched and it would be like 580/696 dollars if that hepls) and then im gonna buy rudder pedals etc.

Guys, as a beginner DCS player, I’d like to get some thoughts about sim hardwares. Do you guys think the Logitech G X56 would be sufficient for playing DCS?

Do you have any suggestions for new aircraft models?

I’m working on my instrument rating in two 1970s-era C172M with steam gauges and either a GNS 530 or GTN 650. I’ve included photos of one (GTN and G5s) and my home simulator setup for reference.

I’m looking for the most realistic C172 available (or settings) for MSFS 2024 or X-Plane 12, particularly for hand-flying, speeds, handling, and IFR proficiency work.

Here’s what I’ve tried so far:

MSFS 2024

• Asobo C172 Basic: My favorite so far. The speeds are spot-on, and it integrates seamlessly with my hardware. My only minor nit is that the left-turning tendency isn’t as pronounced as in the real aircraft.
• Bagolu C172M: Great modeling and visuals, but it seems a little fast. It has also been very buggy when using GNS 530 or TDS GTN 750 pop-outs.

X-Plane 12

• Default Laminar C172: My second favorite, although the controls, especially the ailerons, feel a little more sensitive than the real airplane. During IFR flying, I often find myself wanting to engage the autopilot to avoid constantly chasing headings.
• AirfoilLabs C172 NG Analog: Probably my third choice. I’m still tinkering with it to get all my hardware working correctly, and roughly every other flight ends in a CTD.

Hardware setup

High-end PC with an RTX 4070 Ti and no general performance issues; FlightSimBuilder dual G1000 units and GNS 530; mini touchscreen for auxiliary panels and Air Manager; Honeycombs (and also a PFC Cirrus force-feedback yoke) and Thrustmaster TPR pedals.

What are other instrument students or real-world C172 pilots using? Is there another steam-gauge C172 I should try, or are there settings or modifications that would improve one of these?

My priorities are realistic hand-flying, accurate performance, reliable avionics pop-outs, and good hardware integration, not necessarily the prettiest visuals.

I have a strange problem.

When I load up the Fenix A320 in MSFS24 I get good FPS, mostly 80 with DLSS on. That's what I mostly play, but I would like to try some GA flying as well. When I select the default Diamond of Cessna planes, and move to the cockpit view, the sim stutters a lot. It looks like the sim hangs and is unresponsive. It's not playable like this. This happens in career and free flight modes.

When I exit out of the cockpit and use 3rd person camera view all is normal again??

Anyone encountered something like this?

On approach to VHHH07C I was hit with a terrain warning that wouldn’t shut up, amid very ominous weather, with thick clouds and 60kts gusts. Could it be that the clouds were so thick, the terrain radar started seeing it as a landmass?

The screenshots were taken in HDR, so they may look a bit washed out. You can easily guess which ones have DLSS 5.0 enabled. (:
