isnt this only mobile revenue? I wonder how much they get from consoles and pc since I feel like those 2 games are played a lot more on those platforms.
We know that the numbers shouldn't be taken at face value and that this isn't all that they made, but the point is the trend. There's no reason to believe that the downward trend on mobile has no correlation with pc and other platforms unless everyone just decided to move
It was making a lot more money than this on mobile a few months ago, it's not like it's been below 10 mil since release
The issue is that next month is mostly Linko which has no hype, while blackbird gets a week in CN and only 1 day for Global/JP.
Revenue might be a little lower next month, but pick up again for October with most of Blackbird on global+Akane, depending on how much CN picks up the slack.

Not just Blackbird: Nitsa, Alphard, Akane, Exe will make bank when they come out
Exe going to be the getting an A on the group project by putting your name on it meme even if I do think he has a cool design. Actually matter of fact because I googled again as a reminder after finishing that last sentence I feel like he’s a lot more “trendy” than most husbando characters in gacha so who know??? Probably smokes Linko but he if he’s 2nd banner on patch cycle dunno if he beats anyone else outside Chaos re-run
Yes and no. Every game has a different kind of audience. Genshin is absolute mainstream, HSR is super simple to play on mobile whereas Endfield is a more dedicated and more difficult game to play on mobile. The developer said there 70% revenue from PC and ps. I would say check out official statements like 126mil in half a year on mobile instead of looking at this dumb chart
Endfield is a more dedicated and more difficult game to play on mobile
This aah argument again. Is it endfield pretty optimize on mobile thoo? Got sick of this argument whenever Zzz got "low" revenue people said its unolayable on mobile. Now AE which literary "had better optimization" at mobile people said its unplayable too in mobile.
You guys console or pc player only doesn't even know shit about mobile market games dude. There is bigger chance people having only mobile than mobile +pc. At least its that case in my country which had 300 mil+ people in there
people thinks Endfield players won't touch mobile due to factory's building being bad while forgot most of them probably just use blueprint anyway ( just like most AK players playing so called, strategic gacha game by using same 3-5 op units and watch guides to continue ), so what's the problem anyway, so their only remaining excuse is the 70% pc player excuse which every other 3d gacha game also have the same thing.
NTE has around 60% PC player revenue, their earnings are public too, they earned around 300Mil USD since launch. Arknights also has a 60% PC revenue from a revenue in February 2026.
So yeah, those comparisons are pretty much worthless tbh
Always keep in mind this is mobile only, and NTE runs like ASS on everything. I use PC for it and had to do a lot of tweaking, and even then it sometimes just shits the bed.
If other people have a better experience, that's good, it could be that my machine is shit or I am shit at optimization. My main issues are lag on startup and sometimes assets don't load, but I've had those problems in other UE5 games so could be I suck.
Funny conspiracy feeling I have is that Endfield exists to prop up AK.
Dont get me wrong Endfield will still exists as a project for what they can do for the 3D world and storytelling/cinematography, including translating OG characters to 3D (as well as toying with new characters). With that said good chunk of what they done to Endfield for technical, PR exercises, and some features then translated directly to the OG and in lots of ways it does feel very improved.
The upcoming 2,5D overwold feature for the Angelina Alter event is one of the biggest example.
I don't know what enfield is doing wrong. Its a good game. But arknights is doing way better, maybe the market just isn't there for the 3d version, even with great graphics and weighty animations, much nicer stat systems than other gatchas, decent character and weapon banner.
And id say the story and boss fights are pretty solid.
Also before people say mobile sales, wuwa and zzz are way worse optimised on mobile and pc. I had no issues playing enfield on mobile.
Edit combat isn't great though but its no worse than NTE.
I can't speak to the story because I stopped playing earlier on but I can speak to some of the other stuff from having played it and fallen off.
The combat is definitively a step down from other active combat gachas like ZZZ, old-ass Genshin, and especially WuWa.
With respect to the NTE comparison, one big edge that NTE has is that the lifestyle sim aspect makes daily login feel like you're having much more meaningful day to day progression with the Fons system. From the Endfield side, the factory is set and forget, and also doesn't feel like it actually has the same day to day impact on your gameplay as saving towards a new car or new house or new skin for the character you like does.
And the NTE gacha is THE best in the space bar none with a good pull income and no 50/50 because they're monetizing the game around skins and such instead. As a complete F2P, I have been able to pull for 5 limited chars and have only skipped 2 limited chars and already have enough pulls to get both Akane and Blackbird next version (AND got the Porsche to boot which cost a lot of pulls+Fons... which greatly improved my experience by making the Uber minigame a super easy way to hit my weekly city stam cap on something enjoyable).
The combat is absolutely chopped though, no disagreement there, but the non-combat aspect of the game is more appealing than Endfield, especially in terms of day to day logins. And unironically and without cope, the positive of the combat being chopped is that I can just pull for all the chars I like rather than costmaxxing and getting weapons and eidolons which also means getting more characters to play with.
(Also even if the Endfield gacha system isn't bad, it definitely FEELS unsatisfying, which matters more than statistics on outcomes do)

If I had to say the big differentiator between Endfield and NTE, as someone who has played both from launch, it's that NTE throws a ton of engaging events and activities at you to keep you immersed in the world, while Endfield events have been barebones and haven't encouraged replayability. I play Going Going Gone a couple hours each day on NTE, and other people love other events like volleyball just as much.
The only Endfield event that had kept me consistently coming back so far was Contingency Contract, and they've only done that once so far. Every other event has been complete for rewards and forget.
I don't know what enfield is doing wrong. Its a good game
People get turned off by the factory, turned off by the combat, the fact that there have been multiple filler patches already isn't great, people don't really like the story, the gacha system kinda blows
Yeah I played it 1.0 and 1.1, but then dropped it because the patches felt rather empty and the events/endgame sucked. Plus I never clicked with the factory.
The gacha system is great, it just isn’t good for gambling addicts who like to “build pity”.
If you can resist the addiction and pull for characters when you have the resources you’re better off than in most other similar gacha (think NTE is better though).
They just need to add the guarantee after you lose the 50/50 tbh. I lost 4 50/50 in row and that was an hard hit that made me uninstall. Yes the game gave me a lot of pulls for sygnas but I was going to full pot my favorite character and one of the few times I got lucky I still got punished because no guarantee lmao. I hate my luck.

Yeah no, it's not great. The average ends up being about the same as other games with 50/50s, the difference being that you can lose 2 50/50s early since there's no guarantee after you lose one. And if you pull a character early, now you're screwed on their signature because there's no good methods to get Arsenal pulls outside of pulling.
NTE's system is currently the best out of the "major" gachas. No 50/50, relatively decent rates, no 120 pull guarantee, weapon banner pulls come from an in-game currency that isn't tied to the character gacha. I got A6 Shinku + all her accessories in 192 pulls, that's not happening without obscene luck in other games

I would say mid-tier dupes are reasonably achievable in WuWa with the high pull income, because of the coral store giving you 2 extra copies. I was able to secure S3 R1 Cartethyia and S3 R1 Aemeath during those patches, by being completely F2P because I saved up corals from prior patches and spent it as soon as I pulled S1.
Genshin is another story though. Much more expensive. But the capturing radiance does save you from time to time, unlike WuWa. Saved me on Odette’s this time around.
Except you have 3 whole banners to get their signature weapons, so that’s a crock of shit and lets also put this into perspective…
How do you get a signature weapon in Genshin (or similar game)? You have to use your premium pull currency… the same one you use for characters. So if you want the luxury that is the signature weapon you have to reduce the characters you can get (assuming F2P).
While the weapon currency in Endfield can be annoying, in the end they’re essentially free… although you can convert paid currency into pulls (not really worth it). It’s like people have somehow convinced themselves that you should expect to get every signature weapon, when they wouldn’t have that expectation for any other game.
Fun fact, there's a middle ground between Genshin's weapon banner and Endfield's. It's called NTE's! You'll need all 3 banners to get a sig because going to 120 pulls doesn't give you enough for their sig either, because the system blows. It wouldn't be bad if there were other methods beyond pulling to get a reasonable amount, but there isn't. So the system's bad. Not even talking about how it's a 25/75 in favor of not getting the weapon.
I know it's hard seeing a dissenting opinion outside of the Endfield sub safespace where they ban anyone who doesn't glaze the game to death, but the system still isn't good and it turns new players off whether it did to you or not.
Because the other games are par-for-the-course garbage. Nobody glazes the systems because they're clearly bad, but discussion's been done to death.
Endfield players are the sole group who will get this defensive over someone thinking their weapon banner is garbage, everyone else will just look at you and say "yeah you're right." I'm not continuing this """"discussion"""" though, I have better things to do with my time. You're gonna keep glazing the system, I'm going to keep saying it's not as good as you think it is, and nobody's going to get anywhere
You do have 3 banners to get the signature, but that's dependent on your luck in those 3 banners and if you were going to pull on the 3 characters anyways. It ultimately leads back into the Gacha Aspects because if you do get lucky with the Character Early on but not the weapon, you either spend on the next banner to get enough pulls to get the 1st character's sig, or spend 29 of the premium currency you can get and get their 2nd best weapon in the Battle Pass. (even if it is obtainable for free, you still got to make sure you keep 29 at all times otherwise you will have to pay the difference)
In theory both systems are better, but that is under the assumption you are following the rules of at least having enough to guarantee the 120 pulls in the worst case scenario, and accept that there is a reality where you'll have to get by using weaker weapons if you are strictly F2P. It's a very good Gacha system, but it doesn't feel good because you can get screwed either way depending on your luck.
Of course it’s dependent on luck, every gacha is dependent on luck at some level.
Like don’t get me wrong, if the complaint was “all gacha systems suck” then i’d agree whole heartedly… Gacha inherently sucks, it’s just to different degrees. I just find it odd how Endfield in particular is set apart in its weapon gacha, in terms of how people make out its the absolute worst.
I think your last sentence is pretty spot on, the gacha system doesn’t necessarily feel good. Especially if you’re used to Hoyo-games and the concept of “building pity” or something.
I can’t speak to the experience of purely F2P, as I tend to buy the battlepass and occasionally the monthly pass (I normally forget to buy it). But i’ve found myself with more characters and weapons for a lower monetary cost than I have had with other games.
Arknights doesn't really have a competition when it comes to tower defence games.
Endfield has a lot, and I don't think it's as good as competition - story is mixed bag, combat can feel clunky, exploration is whatever. It was hyped by Arknights community claiming how amazing original story is (imo it's fine but that's it)... just to be hit with Valey IV and savoir of Talos-II fixing waterwheels.
The game takes 0 risks or innovation aside from the factory (which is also something only a select number enjoy) in an already over saturated market of 3d open world gachas. Combine that with very weak storytelling, dry patches and a convoluted gacha system, I guess this was bound to happen.
That is the point, endfield is a good game. But a terrible gacha. There is no replay ability. Factory gameplay is niche but even for those who like it there is nothing to do once you are finished. Equipment farming is too easy giving you no reason to keep farming for it. On top of that the first few patches were tiny with barely any content. Not to mention it's terrible pull system where even winning 5050 feels bad.
Yea thats a good point lack of replay-ability though ironically i believe thats partly by removing the worst part of other gatcha games, the grind for good stats.
But yea i also stoped playing im just curious why its falling off when i think it fixes manny issues with other gatcha games, but i think its been answered.
I mean...there are multiple things that affected it initially, but obviously the biggest one is the factory. Even though you can mostly ignore it and just use blueprints, just the existence of it means most casual players will turn the game off and never look back.
People were saying this even before it launched. Factory gameplay is just an extremely niche space compared to what the other 3D gachas are pushing for.
Another thing that I personally think affected it is the fact that it had 0 endgame modes on launch. I have never seen a 3D gacha game release with quite literally nothing to test your teams/characters on and feel your progression. I was baffled by that decision. The result was that most people never bothered to learn the combat and so we still have people pushing agenda that the combat is trash now.
These days, there are multiple modes to test your teams on, so now it's fine, but still...
Yea i get that i just felt since they were improving everything in the game every patch seems like it would stabilise rather than dip.
But tbf i’m not playing it anymore either. And i think the combat is just not as good as things like zzz and wuwa.
Still kinda surprising that its going down every month.
Just doing blueprints doesn't solve the factory issue, you still need to do the ore nodes, now gas nodes etc else you won't have the materials to keep producing, people who just wants combat need to do so many chores
It's less about Endfield doing something wrong, and more about Endfield doing nothing.
There's really nothing to play for. All good parts of the game, are one-time only, and are like 2-4h per patch. There no good repeatable, replayable content, and combat system, while interesting and unique is rather tedious for daily interactions.
The story is ass, basically has every problem Wuwa has except character count in scenes improved. The factory gameplay is incompatible with the Genshin-style partial rollout of a region overtime, as you constantly have to just scrap everything and start over. Event gameplay variety is lacking. Also, factory building on anything except KB+M is a nightmare.
It certainly has not. It has all the same issues as the first year. The setting is extremely shallow with everything somehow being propagated by Rover or The Lament, with a possibility of Rover being connected to the propagation of The Lament as well. That means every story somehow ends up leading to Rover or Lament without variety.
Furthermore, the setting is so boring and restrictive that the writer frequently have to dump characters into a mind realm or another type of arbitrarily isolated space to give the character "backstory" because it is impossible to do in the actual setting. The current update does this again.
In fact, there have been no characters in the past year that did not either have a backstory subspace segment or past connected to Rover. Sometimes both. It is just outright impossible for the writers to actually write anything happening in the world and these characters when shackled to such an underdeveloped setting. The game has the writing quality of a mediocre Qidian novel series.
It depends, the last patch was the point where a chunk of my friends decided they were going to drop the game at least semi permanently.
It was just more of what they already disliked about Endfield, the introduction of an actual big bad evil society of sorts and nothing of substance in the way of sociopolitics has them convinced that Endfield isn't going to be handling the same type of themes and storylines that they play Arknights for
Yea but if you care about the character then you care about what haleness to the land and people around them its nothing to do with the mc. Its to do with the new characters.
Dont see why thats not understandable, you can say its not good for a long term gatcha game but its still how storytelling works.
This next part is an analogy:
No-one cares that kripton exploded we care that clark Kent is distressed by it.
It doesn't have anything unique yet besides the factory. Is the combat better than ZZZ/Wuwa ? No it isn't. Is the story better than Genshin? No it isn't. And the factory is too easy for og arknights players but too hard and annoying for new players. So they somehow managed to hit the sweet spot where both sides are not that hung about it.
This was always gonna happen as the money becomes more spread out but i kinda agree i think peoples appetite for these kinda of gatchas is probably waining.
Thats why i also think ananta is doing something pretty clever. Its similar to nte but its going fully into the gta saints row route rather than trying to stick with the genshinisums.
Though i hope we still have telepathic powers to throw stuff like cars and street lights around, that seems to fun not to have in an anime game.
Why? WuWa is 85% PC, and that data was from last year from Tencent. It is probably higher now at 90% with Steam and all the graphics updates.
People are leaving mobile to play on PC and consoles to experience the better experience on these devices. So if WuWa can make 1B+ with PC gamers, then it is okay for other companies to not optimize for mobile gamers, or be bother with mobile.
The future is leaning toward PC gaming if company is making a 3D open world game. Then again, WuWa might be a fluke and captured a higher % of PC gamers than other games since it is the first gacha game that highly focused on graphics unlike GI.

Not really, revenue was up last month compared to June due to new patch with hyped story and hyped banner, plus a few half anniversary store deals. This month the only new story content was a character questline. Liino, the only new banner this month, was much less hyped than Arcane was last month. This month was never going to do as well as last month.
In endfields defence liino being a 6 star caught us off guard since most of us expected her to be a 5 star operator which definitely affected her performance negatively
We were? The game hasn’t released a new character besides 6 stars since launch. Even now, Purrchena is the first new non-6 star, who came out of nowhere and was immediately confirmed as welfare.
next patch is giving out a maxed out 5* called Purrchena + her weapon, also maxed out. her design is not what you normally expect from these 3d gacha games too
No way anyone expect Liino to be 6-stars lol why would you think she is 5-stars lol I literally skip Arcane even when they were not released yet, because I aim for Liino for my Fangyi team.

nte consistent, endfield also consistent in a not so good way
