The bike was running fine.I left it parked uncovered for 4 days. m Came back and it will not start. There is no sound when you turn the key. The lights don't come on, does this just mean the battery is dead?

Por el estado del asiento del árbol de levas pensé en mejor comprar una cabeza usada que funcionará pero solo encontré el problema de que son escasas y la que tengo actualmente no se puede mandar a trabajar en un taller porque no lleva metales para remplazar el desgaste, encontré una cabeza hace poco pero es G3

Mi duda es ¿Le queda la cabeza de G3 a G1? ¿Alguien lo intento?

Anyone running them? Has anyone not running them actually experienced the stem being shredded from the tube? Ran into their existence when going onto the website to look at the wheel trueing stand.

Tried loading my bike in second gear not realizing it it was in second. Bags and bars did their job. Luckily I had new ones already ordered as i wasn't a fan of the hard bags.

Any one need a left side hard bag?

Me and my fiancée are new to adventure riding I’ve ridden on road for about 8 years and she’s new in general, neither of us have off road experience on two wheels. I’ve been looking into Appalachian ADV courses up by conneaut lake. Does anyone have any experience with them? Or is there somewhere else in the area that would be better?

So I always let the bike warm up before I ride it, oil level is correct and when I first drop it into gear it snatches and sometimes stalls like the clutch lever is not in enough ,once warmed up properly there are no issues, but does anybody know why🤔

I rode some twisty backroads today and then down under the interstate and hit a few SXS Mud holes. It’s been so dry that they weren’t full of water. So far I’m happy with these tires. I have a few hundred miles on the front and 80 miles on the rear. Much quieter than the d-sports I had on before. They feel planted on the road and they tracked straight through the deep mud. I haven’t done any gravel on the rear but I’m sure it’ll be great.

I have a big ride planned in a couple weeks. Riding the TAT to the Ozarks BDR-X. My d-sport rear probably would have made it but I figure I’d be better off with a fresh tire.

Pardon if this is not allowed this KLR is about 1.5 hours from me. Seller has little info I know it has a tittle and runs. I’m a little worried about the rust on the frame near the passenger peg. Any opinions on if it’s worth the drive to take a look at ?

Finally mounted my gopro to my helmet and went for a ride to hang out with my ham radio buddies. Amazing weather and not much traffic on the road so was ideal on the back roads. Happy Saturday yall.

Anyone have any issues installing the tusk lithium battery on a Gen 3? is it plug and play or will I need to do any mods? ty

Fixing my 2004 KLR 650 after an accident. I’m putting the rotor back on, but it looks way off-center. Does anyone know if there’s a specific position it needs to be installed in, kind of like TDC, or a proper way to get the rotor centered and aligned correctly?

this is my first street bike and I'm very excited, I've ridden a few smaller dirt bikes growing up and I'm taking the msf course in a few weeks. i am looking at a brand new klr 650 Adventure and I just wanted to know what else to buy (besides riding gear)

Preparing for a camping trip and got a little crafty with the pcord.

Old iPad and phone. Both have their own respective power supplies for charging. It's mounted to the rally dash via a Ram mount. My personal phone is usually in my jacket pocket saving its camera. I have a 5G wifi dongle that's for work purposes that I use for data sharing.

This is a trial run. The aluminium tubes will be replaced with carbon fibre tubes and heim joints and some flat black paint to neaten everything up.

I'm finalising my ESP32 project now that will be mounted next to my Rev Gauge.

Pretty much the title. I'm a big tall heavy guy, and putting that black spring made the rear of the bike feel better (vs the oem from 2011) on a level I would not have predicted.

Next up is replacing the brake dive wonder twins, those oem front springs. But there seems to be some debate on which springs are the best, so I'd appreciate answers from the riders who went with the black rear spring and liked the result.

My intended use is "just enough street to reach the gravel/dirt roads", and then gravel and dirt roads, rather than highly technical offroad stuff.
