Promo: Audiobook/E-book Path of Dragons Book 5 Out Now on Kindle/Audible

Post image
123 Upvotes

I just wanted to make a quick post letting everyone know that book 5 of Path of Dragons, called The Trial of Primacy, is now out on Kindle, Audiobook, and Paperback. For those of you who don't know what the story is about, it's a system apocalypse following a shapeshifting Druid as he first, struggles to survive, and then find his place in a new and changed world. Here's the blurb for book 5:

The Trial of Primacy has finally arrived, pitting Earth’s mightiest champions against one another in a hostile environment filled with deadly surprises. Elijah is primed to compete, but he won’t face the Trial alone . . .

Fighting by his side are Sadie Song, a mighty Crusader whose faith-driven power exacts a heavy toll; Dat Bao, a lethal Witch Hunter driven by loyalty; Kurik, a dwarven Sapper whose ingenuity can turn the tide of any battle; and Ron, a Healer struggling to preserve compassion in a world determined to devour the weak. Together, they’ll confront the nine challenges, each representing a different realm attached to the World Tree.

But evil lurks in the shadows of their quest, taking the form of the silver-masked Immortals who seek to turn the Trial to their advantage, setting them on a collision course with Elijah and his companions. And on the excised world of Ka’arath, every victory is paid for in blood, while every failure echoes far beyond the Trial itself.

Now, as the Immortals move to seize control, Elijah must rise—or watch as the Trial of Primacy is forged into a weapon casting humanity’s future into darkness.

If that sounds like something you might be interested in reading, check out the series listing at the following link:

Path of Dragons

If you want to jump right to the latest book, here's the link for The Trial of Primacy:

Cover Artist: I don't know the specific artist, but they were contracted by my publisher, Podium Entertainment. It was not AI generated.
AI Usage: None

The series all the way up to book 14 on Royal Road (and mid-way through book 17 on my Patreon), so if you do end up loving it, there's plenty of content available for a pretty big binge.

Review Bog Standard is great

Finally getting around to listening to book 5 and I just finished the fight with Zaff the Wight in part 2. Honestly incredible. I sometimes get bored in big LitRPG fights, but this one kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time and was a great concept. This series continues to be in my top 5 and I just wanted to post some love for it here. Anyone who hasn't given it a shot yet I highly recommend it.

Hello everyone! Bertt here!

My 4th series, and easily my most popular one, is moving to Amazon KU today! Superhero action with a bit of romance never hurt anyone, right? Anyway, this book has been a lot of fun to write, and I hope it will be as fun to read!

Available now in Ebook/Paperback formats (paperback has illustrations!), with Audio coming in December!

Alright then. Blurb time!

Money is power. Too bad he's broke.

Nathan Brody was an average college student in New York until his death transports him into his favorite video game, My Superhero Life. Finding himself in the Ako Superhero Academy inside this romance/action visual novel world, he discovers himself growing stronger with each dollar, unlocking abilities in a strange "Power Shop" system. But his wallet isn't the only thing the ladies have their eye on.

What should be a dream come true evolves into a nightmare as the plot doesn't play out as it should. Main Characters are missing, heroes are siding with the villains, and Nathan's own memories are blocked by an unknown force. Enrolled into class 1-F, the class for misfits with the weakest powers, he meets Alicia Banava, a small-time antagonist from the game, and Vermillion Strike, a teacher at the very school he studies at.

A war is supposed to begin in three years, and yet now, there is nobody to stop it. Worst of all, there's a strange system window with a ticking clock, and achieving the "happy ending" might be a bit more than Nathan ever asked for.

Promo: E-book Judicator Jane 8 Now Available on Amazon!

Well hello, everyone. It's release day for the latest book in the Judicator Jane series! Due to where we are in the overarching story, this particular book is generally dominated by Jane's point of view, making it closer in structural style to Book 1 and 2. Very interested to hear what everyone thinks!

..................................................................................

Judicator Jane Book 8

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0GPFBXKL8

Also, the audiobook is in production now. Angela is about halfway through, and we should likely see it released in October at some point.

If you're curious about Judicator Jane, here’s a link to Book 1 + the blurb! One interesting point of note is that Judicator Jane has never actually been posted to Royal Road. I first came across the LitRPG genre back in 2022, and did so exclusively through Amazon KU. It was only after I'd published the first book that I even knew it existed!

..................................................................................

Judicator Jane Book 1

Jane’s life was a dumpster fire of bad luck.

Unpaid bills, dead-end jobs, and a constant raincloud over her head. So, when she wakes up in a vast, deadly desert with a mysterious glowing menu floating in front of her face, she makes a desperate gamble. She dumps every single one of her available stat points into the one thing she’s never had: Luck.

All 630 of them. In a system where 10 is the max, Jane just became a statistical anomaly. Now, the laws of probability have bent the knee to her.

Hopelessly lost? She stumbles blindly into the fortress of the most powerful army in the world. Attacked by high-level monsters? Critical failures have never hit so hard. Rolling her class? 'Legendary' was only supposed to happen once every thousand years. But having god-tier luck has a downside.

When the realm's greatest evil is eliminated by a bizarre, one-in-a-trillion mishap, the terrifying Demon Horde assumes Jane is their new, all-powerful queen. Now she has to lead a legion of monsters, navigate a game-like System she barely understands, and hide the fact that she has absolutely no idea what she’s doing.

She just wants indoor plumbing. The demons want a conqueror. They’re about to get Judicator Jane.

Promo: E-book In Wizard With a Greatsword 2, fish heists, ghost mysteries, and a pirate v. mermaid showdown are only some of the adventures she'll have. With gods and dragons fighting overhead, cultist plots unfolding in the shadows, and friends seeking apprenticeship with titans, Iris Orion is doing her best.

Hi everyone!

My second book, Wizard With a Greatsword 2, just came out today. The title gives away as much as I'm willing, but suffice it say I packed this one full of genre piece side quests, extravagant battles, and struggled-fueled growth for our cast of heroes.

Book one has been a huge success on Amazon, sitting comfortably at 4.7 stars with 630+ ratings. Here's what some readers have to say in the reviews:

"The author combines breathless action with immersive worldbuilding. What stood out to me was the solid human side of the support characters; they struggle with emotions and concerns while confronting their duties and responsibilities."

"Fast paced, engaging characters, and great worldbuilding. More depth than most progression fantasy I've read. Looking forward to the sequel."

"What I got was better than I expected. Iris is such a fun and flawed character. The beginning sets up Iris and her new found powers well but brings action, adventure and mystique moving into act 2. The third act with the raid quest was grippign and had some exciting moments, mixed with some well earned character development. Iris' crew are a fantastic addition. This book was exceptional and started on all cylinders. Most importantly, BRING ON BOOK TWO!"

Here's the blurb:

Iris has survived her first real trials as an adventurer.

Between cooking up plots to fool titans, investigating strange happenings on cursed lands, and making naive pacts with aspiring gods, Iris and her party are settling comfortably into life on the frontier.

There are mysteries to solve, pirate crews to impress, and powers to test.

But while Iris is busy chasing levels, friendships, and a future of her own, something darker is taking shape in the meeting halls of Giantrock City.

Old favors are coming due, powerful enemies are taking notice, and when the first shots of someone else’s war are fired over their heads, the party may have no choice but to run.

Iris has found the life she always asked for. Can she keep it?

Don’t miss Book 2 of this progression fantasy adventure romp about an eager novice learning who she wants to become.

Recommendation: asking Craving something very specific

A story that takes place mostly in wilderness hunting down monsters trying to obtain mana crystals and merging them to increase there rarity like from a 10 blue make 1 green kind of situation. That mostly involves investigating power and again hunting creatures. Maybe with going home to a base.

Idk I just wanted something specific suddenly thanks for taking time to read this

Discussion Book of the dead by RinoZ Spoiler

Upvotes

Book of the dead has became one of my top three favorite LitRPG and it’s not even close. I just wanted to say that I feel like book two’s cover is a major spoiler.

Edit: I just wanted to say I’m not hating on the book at all or anything like that I’m just pointing out something I felt.

Discussion What system cost actually changes the world, not just the protagonist?

I keep running into magic and LitRPG systems with a supposedly severe cost: lifespan, permanent stat loss, pain, corruption, memory, or some resource that cannot be replaced. On the character sheet it looks brutal. In practice, the cost often disappears between fights and the surrounding society behaves as if it does not exist.

The versions that stick with me are the ones where the cost creates institutions. Lifespan magic should produce triage laws, wealthy patrons buying other peoples years, and professions built around avoiding casts. Permanent stat loss should change who gets drafted, how veterans are treated, and whether dangerous skills are regulated. Memory costs should reshape recordkeeping, testimony, relationships, and who society trusts with important knowledge.

At that point the cost stops being a high-stakes tax on the protagonist and becomes part of the setting. It also closes the loophole where the MC is somehow the only person who takes the rules seriously.

What is the best example you have seen of a system cost changing the whole world around it? Or what cost sounds severe on paper but almost never gets followed through?

So I normally just read on Royal Road or listen on audible. I'm a big fan of the genre, but recently I discovered the magic of kindle unlimited. For like ~12 bucks a month I can get all the goodies I've had in my wishlist on audible for like forever for 'free'. I've gotta say this book was awesome. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. Who else enjoyed this one?

Promo: E-book I wrote a Dungeon Core LitRPG where the dungeon refuses to kill anyone. It’s $0.99 for a limited time!

Post image
17 Upvotes

Iris Vale dies and wakes up as Dungeon Core #4417.

There’s just one problem.

The System expects her to murder adventurers.

She refuses.

So instead of building a proper death dungeon, Iris starts turning spike pits into hot baths, harvesting kindness for mana, serving adventurers instead of slaughtering them, and somehow ends up running a cozy dungeon inn with a three-legged cat as her manager.

Unfortunately, the System is not particularly impressed by her interpretation of “Dungeon Core.”

She has 30 days to prove a no-kill dungeon can actually work before the whole experiment gets shut down.

It’s basically my attempt at combining the progression and dungeon-building of Dungeon Core/LitRPG with the warm found-family feeling of cozy fantasy while still giving Iris an actual System to fight against and a dungeon to grow.

No-Kill Dungeon is $0.99 for a limited time.

If you like:
⚔️ Dungeon Core progression
❤️ Found family
🐈 Questionably qualified cat management
☕ Cozy dungeon nonsense
📈 Skills, upgrades & progression
🚫 A protagonist stubbornly refusing the obvious solution

…you might enjoy this one.

And if anyone here gives it a try, I’d genuinely love to hear whether the whole “kindness as a dungeon resource” idea works for you.

Recommendation: asking Book Request

Upvotes

Howdy. Looking for a recommendation. Soon to finish book 4 of 1% life steak and have really been enjoying the story. Anyways I'm looking for something similar or at least a story where the MC is getting powerful but has to keep secrets and is constantly teetering on the edge, interacting with powerful people who could crush him will also managing to survive through whatever means. I enjoy stories where there is a good side character that eventually learns the MCs secrets. I enjoy navigating political structures but also like unique situations and real stakes at least to those around the MC lol. Another series I enjoyed but haven't read the last book and heard there was some hiatus was the Beastborne series. Anyways any recommendations would be much appreciated.

Meet Ted, an exceptionally average guy—who now also happens to be a spellcaster. Not a wizard, sorcerer, or warlock. A spellcaster. Unfortunately, Ted still has no idea what that means.

Jeffrey L. Kohanek invites you on an uproarious adventure in his first LitRPG series, Spellcaster Ted. Book One is available on Audible today!

With swords, sorcery, and a healthy dose of LitRPG chaos, this book is perfect for fans of Dungeons & Dragons and The Princess Bride.

Narrated by Jack Fields; featuring Jeff Hays, Justin Thomas James, Stephanie Németh Parker, and Rebecca Brokaw-Sands.

SYNOPSIS: In a world of wizards and sorcery, Ted is a spellcaster. What’s a spellcaster? Ted’s still trying to figure that out.

Order, routine, and predictable outcomes. These are the foundations of Ted’s existence. Too bad for Ted, his life spins into chaos, with outcomes hinging on a toss of the dice. He somehow finds himself in a world where wizards rule and mythical creatures stalk the land. During his character creation, Ted avoided choosing Wizard or Sorcerer, instead opting for Spellcaster: Other. The result is part mage, part bard, and part… something else. He stumbles along, attempting to learn and execute spells without ending up dead from an enemy attack… or from his own mistakes.

Joined by his three companions—a boisterous dwarf who argues with his talking hammer, a fierce warrior with a tongue as sharp as her blades, and a mighty ogre with the mind of a four-year-old—Ted becomes embroiled in a series of quests, each more dangerous than the last.

Survive or die, Ted. The choice is simple, even if success is unlikely.

Welcome to Titanfell Manor, the perfect fixer-upper to entice a monstrous crew to put down roots—if the house doesn’t get to them first . . .

Having risen from runt of the litter to party leader, Daggat’s ready to take himself and his siblings to the next level. But to plan their revenge on their goblin tribe they’re going to need a base of operations. After taking refuge in an abandoned, root-choked house, the goblins receive some unexpected guests: a polite ogre, a talking worm, and a human spider girl who’s afraid of . . . spiders.

Things between the assorted creatures get off on the wrong foot—or more precisely, feet—but when the gigantic network of tree roots comes to life and takes a monstrous turn, they tentatively join forces. As the crew navigates leveling up and surviving deadly encounters, they quickly realize surviving the Demon of the Dead Wood is only half the battle. They’ll have to survive one another first.

With rumors of a rising goblin army and a heist to steal a mortal soul on the horizon, Daggat must use every ounce of his manipulative charm to keep his group from tearing themselves apart so they can reach their full potential. But first he’ll have to discover what really lies within the ogre’s heart—and wrestle with some questions about himself that could spell the difference between victory and doom . . .

The second volume of the hit LitRPG fantasy series—with more than 800,000 views on Royal Road—now available in paperback, ebook, and audiobook!

Tropes include: weak to strong and defying fate.

Not caught up on book one? It is availiable in all formats here: https://podiumentertainment.com/titles/133271/goblin-teeth

Promo: Webnovel The Voidwalker series is back!

Hi everyone! Sortis here!

The rewrite of my story, Voidwalker, is currently in the Top 20 of Rising Stars. I've already published over 75k words, and I'll be doing daily chapters throughout the RS run before switching to a 5-chapters-a-week schedule.

If you like progression fantasy where the MC actually has agency, the fun comes from watching him figure out how to make the most of his abilities, the world is something to explore rather than just a backdrop, and seemingly unrelated pieces of lore gradually come together to reveal something much bigger, come on over and check it out!

Blurb:

Turns out, leading a gang of scavenger kids during the AI wars, or becoming a top-tier assassin and founding a notorious crime organization in a VRMMO, isn’t as wild as it gets. You can always sign up for an outer-world expedition and end up in a cultivation world.

Or so Ethan learned.

Not your typical xianxia either. Big clans and powerful sects hold sway, but nations answer to councils and monarchies. High-fantasy creatures roam the land, and inheritance sites coexist with dungeons that spawn monsters.

Worse yet, in a world where talent is essential, Ethan barely qualifies to cultivate. Still, it's not enough to stop him. While others meditate for decades, he hunts, using his wits, instincts sharpened by thousands of kills, and an AI chip that twists cultivation into something closer to a game.

Then a single lie gets out of hand. What should’ve been a casual bluff becomes a multiversal rumor, drawing young prodigies from higher realms straight into Elisium: some hungry for blood, others bound by duty. Now Ethan must carve a path through the chaos he unleashed. Not that he minds. After all, chaos has a habit of hiding opportunity.

What to expect:

-Weak to strong LitRPG in a western cultivation world

-Action-packed adventures with a void assassin

-Skill gathering, evolving, and merging

-Smart and competent MC

-Vast scope spanning across the multiverse

-No harem

-This is a rewrite of an old story. Book 1&2 complete.

So I have a credit for audible and I’m looking for my next listen. I want a good hidden gem Litrpg. I just finished Void sovereign, and system incursion. I like both current listening to Apex Guardian.
