They never should have fired Francis from the ranch and they also in my opinion messed up by making Reese insanely brain dead in the last two seasons. They both lost so much character

That is kind of crazy to think, no? Not sure if anyone remembers that or what it was like but I imagine they were his earliest lead roles? Imagine this kid just coming out of nowhere in January 2000 and headlining both a period drama and a FOX sitcom the same dang weekend?

So I watched this everyday at about 4pm after school as an 11 year old. I’m now in my mid thirties. I’m watching it for about the tenth time.

The 4pm showing would suggest that this is a family friend show. But it’s so nuanced and layered that as an adult I began to see so many of the seedy story lines or jokes. I gained much more of an appreciation for it as an adult through my twenties and thirties.

Would you have considered it a child friendly show?

Was this just Dewey acting out or another example of him being weirdly intuitive? He did seem to know that Hal was sabotaging Lois's weight without looking or ever seeing Hal.

Imagine how Reese reacted considering the years of torment he inflicted him.
