Alot of our employees are having issues logging into different m365 services and azure portal. They are getting error something went wrong and the icon for defender for cloud apps. Anyone else experiencing this now?

I have to activate my new 365 Personal subsricption today with the product key. I have it physically in a piece of paper. The instruction says: go to the microsoft365.com/setup page and enter the product key. But when I go to that page it redirects me to Copilot. I tried it with Brave and Chrome, the result is the same. What the hell is going on? How can I get the setup page? My subsricption expire today I want to activate the new one.

Of course, I asked Copilot, it hasn't got any good result.

I'm designing a project "tracking" tool and my boss would like for there to be a dashboard with various stats & such. It's been a minute since I dug into the depths of Excel, and I'm cool with learning about SharePoint lists & stuff. I may be given access to PowerBI, but it's questionable if I'll be able to use CoPilot.

There are currently ~20 columns, and this tool will only be shared amongst our team. There will be links to external documents that in Excel will be in the same xls on a different tab.

Also, there's one person on the team who insists on using OneNote for making notes about each project, and TBH, neither I nor my boss are completely comfortable with that. I understand that you can embed a "table" in OneNote, but is there a more efficient tool for that?

What are your thoughts on deciding which tools to use?

Update:

• I've received links to the OneNote docs and found instructions for embedding the entire doc or particular sections. I feel better about that, plus I don't have to discuss "undoing" all the work she's putting in to them.
• I'm watching some vids about SharePoint Lists and am leaning toward using it instead of a spreadsheet.

For a small company, syncing the entire company directory sounds convenient until the GAL gets big. But once you have hundreds of users, does anyone really need every single person showing up in their phone contacts?

Do you guys normally sync:

- the whole GAL
- only certain departments
- only people in the same location/team
- some kind of custom contact list

I'm leaning toward less is probably better, especially on mobile, but curious what people are actually doing in larger environments. At what point does "sync the whole directory" stop making sense?

Hello guys I've been having this problem right now my account suddenly locked while I was trying to log in (I use my phone because thats the only device I use), then I press next but then it says that account recovery blocked how do I fix it. My Minecraft account is using that account and I really don't want to create a new one because i have lots of memories with that account, and achievements ( I use bedrock edition on my phone). Can any one help me? I also tried submitting account reinstatement but their reply was to sign in but then again it just says my account was locked then when i press the next button it says account recovery blocked.

EDIT: Seems to be working for the user today.

We have multiple users that SSO into one of our vendor applications using O365 but one user in particular gets the attached error. We have confirmed the user is set to use Edge as their default browser and that Edge is fully up-to-date. Not sure where this is coming from as the sign in logs in Entra don't show any failures.

E3 developer licence. Since Friday, The onedrive size has been set by MS to 10GB per user despite all everything saying I (global tenant admin) can use/allocate more. Spport assistant doesn't work (tried both in edge: blocked content and firefox: nothing appearing). How the heck do I open a ticket?

Tenant details:

- Tenant default OneDrive storage limit: 1024 GB

Evidence:

- Microsoft 365 Admin Center shows the organization's default OneDrive limit is 1024 GB.

- The user account is configured with a maximum storage of 10 GB.

- SharePoint Online PowerShell returns:

Actions already performed:

- Verified tenant default storage limit remains 1024 GB.

- Verified license assignment.

- Connected using SharePoint Online Management Shell.

- Confirmed StorageQuotaType = UserSpecific.

- Attempted to remove/reset the UserSpecific quota using SharePoint Online PowerShell.

- Quota remains 10240 MB.

Request:

Please investigate the backend quota assignment for this OneDrive site and restore the correct OneDrive quota according to tenant entitlement. Please remove the incorrect UserSpecific quota and reapply the default tenant allocation.

We are looking to standardize our meetings and meeting invitations across the organization, and we would like to be able to roll out meeting invitation templates organization-wide.
In the ideal scenario, every new meeting would automatically have a standard agenda added by default. Users should then also have the option to choose from a few specialized meeting agendas/templates depending on the type of meeting.
The solution would need to work across:

We have looked into the options available, but it seems that this may require a third-party application or an Outlook/Teams add-in.

Today, after making some changes in my PC’s BIOS, I was somehow signed out of my Microsoft account. Even though I enter the correct password, it asks me for a verification code. The phone number shown is not mine, and I don’t have access to it, so I’m unable to verify my account.

The only option I found was to submit a security request to Microsoft, but they told me I have to wait 30 days.

My question is: is there any way to access my PC during this time so it isn’t literally locked for an entire month? I don’t have any other user accounts added to the PC, so right now I can’t do anything with it.

I already tried Safe Mode following Microsoft Support’s instructions, but I couldn’t get anywhere with it.

Is there any way to create or access another local user account so I can use my PC while I wait for Microsoft to recover my account? I really don’t want to delete or lose any of my files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I’m having a really weird problem with my Microsoft account and Minecraft.
I’ve had the same Gmail address for around 7 years, and I’ve used it with Minecraft/Microsoft for a long time without any problems.
Recently, I suddenly can’t sign into Minecraft Launcher.
When I enter my Gmail address, Minecraft says:
“That Microsoft account doesn’t exist. Enter a different account or get a new one.”
But here’s the weird part: if I try to create a new Microsoft account using that exact same Gmail address, Microsoft says the email is already in use.
I also tried Microsoft’s Sign-in Helper, and it says “No problems found” for the email.
The official Minecraft Launcher also gives me this Xbox error:
“We couldn’t sign you in to Xbox Live” — Error 0x8000000D
I’ve tried:
Restarting my PC multiple times
Official Minecraft Launcher
Lunar Client
Feather Client
Different Microsoft accounts
wsreset.exe
The same Xbox/Microsoft login problem happens across different Minecraft launchers and even when I try different accounts.
I’m wondering if this is a Microsoft/Xbox authentication issue rather than an issue with my actual Minecraft account.
Does anyone know what could cause an email to simultaneously be recognized as already in use but also say the Microsoft account doesn’t exist? And how can I fix it without accidentally creating a new account or losing my Minecraft account?
I can provide screenshots of the errors if needed.

So I just bought a domain and was setting everything up. Something with the initial setup and QR code to add authenticator to my account didnt work. I changed the .onmicrosoft to my .com account. Now, trying to log in, I need authenticator, when I try to login on my phone, I need authenticator to approve it. I am able to change my password but cannot get further than that.

I'm actually logged into my account but when I try to go to my account-security info, it brings me to authenticator. When I say I cant use authenticator, it allows me to approve using authenticator or get a code only.

On my iphone, I deleted all data from authenticator and reinstalled. When I try to verify my identity on the app, it asks for approval from... you guessed it - authenticator.
