Rant/गुनासो Seriously fuck all religions

Many people justify the sufferings of innocent people affected by this flood and 2072 earthquake by saying they were "punished by God" for worshipping "wrong Gods" or "punished by God" for commiting sins in their "previous life"

This flood was caused because a huge section of ice and rock broke loose from a glacier in north of Langtang National Park, as the massive chunk of ice and rock collapsed, the sheer force of the impact friction melted the ice causing the huge volume of water to rush downward

Similarly, the 2072 earthquake was caused because the Earth's crust is broken into large pieces called tectonic plates, Indian Plate pushing northward and sliding underneath the Eurasian Plate caused the earthquake as Nepal is situated between Indian Plate and Eurasian Plate

The concept of God was made by prehistoric humans to explain natural phenomena like Sunlight, Rain, Thunder, Earthquake, Tornado etc but gradually the clergy class emerged and modified this belief so they can benefit themselves and this is how all moderm religions came into existence

Earth formed about 4.5 billion years ago from a cloud of gas and dust around the Sun. Over time, the Earth cooled and oceans and an atmosphere developed. Life began in the oceans about 4 billion years ago, from simple chemical compounds that gradually formed the first living cells. These living cells gradually evolved into modern day living creatures. Euglena is an intermediate between Plants and Animals because it can photosynthesise as well as feed on other organisms. Mudskipper is an intermediate between Fishes and Amphibians because it breathes through gills inside water and can survive many days outside water. Salamander is an intermediate between Amphibians and Reptiles because it depends on water for reproduction as well as crawls on four legs. Crocodile is an intermediate between Reptiles and Birds because it crawls on four legs and has 4 chambered heart while all other Reptiles have 3 chambered heart and all Birds have 4 chambered heart. Platypus is an intermediate between Birds and Mammals because it lay eggs as well as produce milk. Humans evolved from Apes about 300,000 years ago and gradually spread across the world because the skull of a baby Chimpanzee is identical to the skull of an adult Human

Consciousness is nothing but the Neurons in our body, scientists are able to make isolated Neurons successfully learn to play video games like Pong and Doom

We have only ONE LIFE and death is the end, like we don't remember anything before our birth, we won't remember anything after after our death either, there's no Hell, there's no Heaven, there's no Soul, there's no Karma, there's no Rebirth

Stop justifying the sufferings of innocent people

Video/भिडियो I created an interactive 3D reconstruction of the August 26 Nepal–Tibet flash flood

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

This visualization reconstructs the likely path and sequence of the flash flood using real terrain, maps, satellite imagery, published footage and media reports.

It is an illustrative reconstruction rather than a hydrodynamic simulation. The timings beyond the initial section are approximate.

If anyone familiar with the affected area notices anything inaccurate, I would appreciate the correction.

- Female Spayed
- Two years old
- Has a pink collar on

My cat has been missing for a week. I've been searching everywhere, every day, for hours but unfortunately, there have been no signs of her. I've also been posting on TikTok and Facebook but so far, we haven't had any leads
If you live in Dhungedhara, Banasthali, please keep an eye out for her. I would really appreciate it. Even spreading the word to people who live in the area could make a huge difference
Also, she was wearing a pink collar when she went missing but it's a breakaway collar so she might not still have it on
Please message me if you see a cat who looks like her even if you're not completely sure

My tiktok - https://www.tiktok.com/@asteraceaemary?_r=1&_t=ZS-99NGCQ7FPjJ - strictly only for finding my cat

Question/प्रश्न Planning to buy first car

So, I cleared my car trial about a year ago. That was the last time I drove a car. I was planning to get a bike - Royal Enfield classic 350 but then I realized it would be more practical for me to rather get a car instead. I have a family of 4 and it would be convenient for me to get a four wheeler instead.

Since this would be my first car, I am planning on getting a second hand. I am thinking about these three: i20, Baleno or grand i10.

Anyone has any other recommendations? And if someone can help me, what price with what range is acceptable and how much max should I set aside for first time car?

I have a budget of 25 lakhs max. I want to get a fuel engine car with manual transmission. I don’t want to drive an electric or automatic car, I understand fuel would be expensive in the long run. I am planning to ride the car for maybe couple of years and then I’ll think about getting a brand new or electric or maybe an automatic car.

Open to suggestions.

Was this boulder actually a witness to the 1792 Treaty of Betrawati?

Thumbnail

I’ve come across claims connecting this boulder to the Treaty of Betrawati (1792), which followed the long-drawn Sino-Nepalese War. The conflict arose in the context of disputes over the circulation of debased Nepalese coins in Tibet and subsequent Gorkha incursions into Tibetan territory. After the Gorkha forces raided Tibet, Tibet, under Qing suzerainty, sought Chinese military intervention, prompting the Qing campaign against the Gorkhas. The conflict eventually ended with the Treaty of Betrawati in 1792.

Is there any reliable historical or archaeological evidence confirming that this stone was actually present when the Treaty of Betrawati was concluded, and that it is indeed the stone on which the treaty was signed during the Sino-Nepalese War?

Discussion/बहस Night Dream at 2024 about Nepal 2026

Hi, in July 2024 I saw night dream which was different. it was a kind of lucid dreaming. in the dream story there was a Buddha Master. he was able to communicate with me without words and I was able to understand him. suddenly I got aware about being in the dream and tried to tell him that I am aware that this is a dream.
as i had lucid dreams experience before I knew that I have to be clam to still remain in the dream.
We were in a bout with few other people and ....

at the end there was a school in fire and fireman was tring to turn the fire off and ....

When I woke up, I knew that the dream is different and trying to tell something.

I believe it is just the beginning and not finished with flood.

Have anyone else had dreams about Nepal and Buddha Master?

Lets be in touch if you are connected to this.

Question/प्रश्न regarding building a house in Nepal as US citizen

So my cousin brother went to US on DV . He later joined US Army and now is US citizen so are his wife and his 3 US born kids .
We have some land near Teenpiple Nuwakot
he wants to build a house in his parcel of land and use it as air bnb
question he has is
a) right now its gonna be under his father ( my thulba) but when our thulba dies as US citizen can he inherit that land. I know there was some legislation regarding NRN citizenship. IDK where it went
b) Is there something akin to airbnb in Nepal that he can use for short term rental

PS I know this is not the right time to ask such questions when whole nation is going through mourning but I think better FDI from our NRN community can help in our development
actually this is what started the conversation as he wants to invest in land of his ancestors

Rant/गुनासो Chhetrapati chikitsalaya ko dental department ko mero gunaso

Post image
1 Upvotes

Im here to complain about this institution cause they messed up my RCT and i had an ingrown infection groeing under my tooth and it started damaging my jaw bone too.

So the thing is I had a very bad cavity in my toot(premolar), and i went to get it checked at chhetrapati chikitsalaya cause it was near my mamaghar and i had to go there often at the time.

The dentist told me the damage is too serious and we had to get an R.C.T(ROOT CANAL TREATMENT) done. And that there is no other way to save the tooth. So i went to get it done and the management was decent but my problem was that they only made me visit them for like 4 times and it seemed like it was done in a rush and mind you the cleaning of the root canal had to be done at least 5 times.

The part where the dead gunk in my root canal had to be removed and then cleaned with some chemicals.

During the last visit where i had to put a crown on top of the tooth to finish the process i told them and my mom that the tooth was still aching and it felt uncomfortable but they insisted its normal and went on to finish the treatment.

For a few days it was still hurting but not as much. But after like a month later i experienced serious pain and swelling around the teeth. I tried contacting them and they again said that its no big deal and itll go away.

Speaking of the 3 years after the incident i didnt experience the excruciating pain i experienced before but it still hurt to chew from the tooth but i thugged it off each time and didnt think much of it ehile a big yellow puss was growing below my tooth beneath my gum. I thought i had grown out the pain but it happened to be that i just learned how to chew without irritating the infection underneath. A few months back from the current date when i randomly asked chatgpt and it told me i had an infection growin for 3 years and i went to get it checked with an xray in another clinic and it turns out the infection had gotten so bad it had started damaging the tissue around it and my jaw bone(the image attached to this post).

When i got the RCT redone snd the dentist opened up the cap to reclean it, i kid you not it smelled like a dead body and when the dentist pulled it out to clean it, it smelled even worse.

Now i seriously advise any of yall going to this chhetrpati chikitsalaya for you dental checkups, i recommend you to think twice before doing so but i cant speak for the rest of the departments of the institution. I hold no grudge against anyone but i hope the doctors' methods get better.

Question/प्रश्न Seeking local info on building damages due to the flood in Devghat / Bharatpur region

Hi, a friend of mine works in an international NGO and he is trying to share some satellite-based info on physical damages to structures from impact of the floods, but he is unable to cross-check some observations with local info from Devghat / Bharatpur region.

From the online sources, news, etc. it seems that even though the water intensity was very high in Devghat and the flood water carried a lot of dead bodies, etc. downstream - it seems there was little to no direct impact in terms of damages to physical structures and buildings inside devghat / bharatpur so far.

Can someone living in Devghat / Bharatpur region confirm if this was indeed the case? Or is it that there were some notable damages also in that region? (If you could share any picture, link to local news showing damages / confirming no damages, advisory from the authorities, etc. around this - would be super helpful).

Thanks in advance, and please stay strong!

If anyone knows of local NGOs, medical teams, hospitals, or contacts currently needing doctors, please DM me. I’m willing to travel and join an established team.

I’ve travelled to Nepal before and absolutely love the country and it's people, so I’d like to help in any way I can.
