I was going for a 90s-retro-film kind of vibe (after/before)

Took this photo of my fiance on a walk while she was mid sentence. I think the sunglasses hide her likely annoyed expression enough to make it a cool candid photo. It was late in the evening and the light gave that nice glowy look. I'm kind of obsessed with that faded film kind of aesthetic.

Trying a more “dreamy” and softer look, pretty happy with this for now.

Just a photo of my car after rain. Tried to give it a metallic/ mercury and almost abstract look. Just got photoshop 2 days ago and hoping to learn more.

I am beginner using Lightroom

The raw image is taken from internet

First picture is raw

Second one is edited

Wanted to know your thoughts about the edit

One doubt how to make sunset look original

I tried sky masking but wasn't able to make it look real

Ig the mountain and skylines behind mountains are done better

It still looks more like Photoshop than real

I added a refocusable MultiFocus mode to my iPhone camera app

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

I’ve been working on a new MultiFocus mode for LSC Long Shot Camera.

It captures 10 different focus planes in one shot, and afterwards you can tap different parts of the image to choose where you want the photo to be focused.

You can export the selected focus as a normal JPG, export all 10 focus frames separately, or keep the complete stack in LSC’s private .nar format and reopen it later to refocus the same capture again.

There’s also an All Focus mode that tries to combine sharp regions from different focus planes into one extended-depth-of-field image. That part is still being improved — focus breathing and alignment between focus distances make it surprisingly difficult to make the result look like one completely natural photo.

MultiFocus is now available in LSC v2.1 on the App Store.

The images here are just test examples for now. I haven’t had the chance to go out and shoot better real-world examples yet, but I’ll keep sharing new results as I make them.

If anyone tries MultiFocus, I’d genuinely love to see what you create with it. Feel free to share your refocus shots here.

Support and feedback from users are what let me keep developing LSC and experimenting with features like this.

Colour or b/w

New here. Nothing fancy, and taken with an iPhone. Original, b/w and a little bit of processing in the colour version. Can‘t make up my mind which I prefer. What do you think?

After/Before - Help with shadow detail

Trying to get better at editing my kid’s soccer game photos. Aiming for a photorealistic look.

I’m a little colorblind, so I’m not very comfortable with color editing, but losing face details on sunny days when the players’ faces are in shadow is something I’d like to fix. How does this look?
