Interesting article that Mengu wrote about ideas to encourage competitive growth for the game. While Magic was once the premier 1v1 tournament TCG, it feels like that has been handed to other games like Riftbound while Wizards focuses on Commander and Arena gameplay. As a competitive paper Magic enjoyer, I'd love to see some of these ideas implemented to increase interest in the tournament system.
