For a few years I've been trying to remember which anime this gag came from.

I'm pretty sure has to be pre-2010 anime, and the whole gag is about a "horror story".

In the story, a man gets a fancy box of mochi as a gift/souvenir. And every night he goes to the box and opens it, but never eating any. But ever night there is one less mochi.

In the end, he finds out that the mochi were stuck to the lid.

Later on when the man dies, the family open the coffin, and the man is not there

It was a drawing that I remember seeing on reddit during pandemic times, probably on r/196. It was a simple digital drawing, mostly gray and white in color scheme, where a girl is offering a guy a skirt, or maybe a maid outfit, I think she was saying "just try it" or something, and the guy is blushing. I seem to remember the dress having some pink, but I'm not quite sure. I seem to remember the artstyle being vaguely similar to that one MS Pigtails meme that riffing on a "not like the other girls" comic, but obviously not made by MS Pigtails. I've been on the verge of an aneurysm trying to find it, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

It was a poem I read a while ago that discussed how having a fat baby is a privilege.

A summary (from what I can remember) is that the narrator is black and sees having a large and healthy baby as a symbol of prosperity and protest after the generational trauma caused by slavery.

It was a pretty beautiful poem. Very moving with the contrast of previous suffering and a slow increase in living conditions despite adversity.

Title pretty much says it all. 90 percent sure it's part of an older video game, there is an event or cutscene that has the famous opera song "Vesti la giubba" playing which would ordinarily be sad, but it's deliberately subverted by having the song played by a very cheesy sounding synth instrument that sounds like a very artificial child's voice singing "doo doo doo doo doo".

Note: although describing the song as "doo doo doo doo" is technically breaking rule 8, it's literally exactly what the song sounds like in the context I'm searching for. The Wikipedia link above has a recording of the actual song.

It's playing back in my mind again, but I've never seen or heard the song or seen the music video in a long time. Okay so, in the 2000s, shows like MuchMusic and Uranium were on the air. These were some of the platforms I got to watch music videos and listen to artists from. I was a rock/alternative/metal junkie, still am.

But for the life of me, I cannot figure out what the hell the song is or the band but I know the music video, at least by bits.

This music video starts out with a fast-forwarding effect that goes up a spiral of one of those inside parking garages. It then shows the band performing on what is a rooftop of a random building. During points of the video, an asian lady is standing on the edge of another building and each point of the video, checks in on her being conflicted onto whether she'll jump.

In the end she does jump, though I don't really think she dies. And that's really all I remember from the music video. The band is alternative rock I'm guessing or nu-metal.

What is that band and what is that song? I hope someone out there who has watched both or either MuchMusic and Uranium to know. Thanks.

I found this comic around 1999-2000, but it was with a collection of comics from the 80s and 90s. The comic itself was torn and just a few pages remained.

A lady in a chainmail bikini or some 80s style scanty outfit yells at the peasant for killing her father. He grabs her and chastises her. A wizard shows up and he kills something with a revolver.

There’s a movie (or perhaps a show) that opens with a bunch of characters renovating a library in the future, and one of them knocks over a jar. In it is a brain (or some other body part) labeled with some character’s name. The person who finds it goes “who the hell is _____?” And then we cut to that main character.

I caught a few minutes of it on the Walmart TV wall. I know westerns weren't particularly trendy in the late 90s, but the scale of the explosions looked too big for their golden age. I remember absolutely no dialog.

I remember reading a comic as a kid, about cats and some other species in armor at war with eachother.
I think it was a mini comic that was a book full of multiple stories?

One of these cats is really tiny, pink and hides inside a helmet. when the cats find it, they take the helmet from him and build their own armor.

The next time they go to war, the enemies arent in their armor and it starts to rain. The cat’s become frozen with rust and mud, causing them to lose the battle.

There was this one instrumental song from tiktok that I always saw on cute cat videos, dogs too but the biggest one was cats. ​it sounded a lot like Ghost Duet by Louie Zong, but it had more like what sounded like a child humming/singing. The best way I can describe it is a combination of Ghost Duet & Funny Song by locochick. Where the voice was similar to that of the locochick song but synthesized like in ghost duet. I know it's not a lot to go on but I hope people can help me find this song because I wanted to use it for random videos I had in mind. ​

The show was likely aired on TV but I watched it via YouTube so it should've been available there at least until 2019. I'm specifically looking for an episode that involved the contestants posing in a shallow pool setup (reclining/laying down?) with plants, frogs, and snakes. I remember the background was mainly teal because of the pool setup. The outfit color schemes might be reds and browns but I might be wrong.

I THINK the theme was "Wild" something, and I remember this being the elimination challenge. The bottom models in that episode were told they weren't able to work with the frogs and/or that their struggle to do so was too obvious.

My friend has been searching for a game one of their other friends showed her, she asked me to post it for her since she doesn't have Reddit. We're from Mexico and the person who shared the game with her speaks Spanish only, so the game could be in spanish. I'm not a native English speaker so, apologies for any redaction/grammar errors.

She was shown this game during a video call with one of her friends around 2024, however, this other person told her that they used to play it during their adolescence, so my guess is that the game could have come out/been popular between 2017 and 2021. She describes that the art style is similar to "The Witch's house" and the interface to "Hello Charlotte", but neither of those are the game. She mentions that there were save points on/near buildings, one she remembers with a little more detail being some kind of furniture with a plush or jar on it. The game's main menu was likely red and black. Mentions it could have been an rpg or made in rpg maker, but she doesn't remember.

As for the story and characters, she describes the following: It starts at an orphanage with 3 children, one of which is the protagonist, who we control; and her two friends. They're talking about believing in god before praying, because the protagonist and her mother are witches. The next morning, the mother comes to pick up the protagonist, and while this happens, the protagonist's best friend says that the mother is really pretty and he wishes she was his mom. Then, one day, the mother is killed and the protagonist probably starts searching for who did it. While at this, she becomes another sorcerer's/wizard's apprentice. The protagonist's best friend had brown hair, (possibly) green eyes and was named Oni. The mother was really pale, had pitch black eyes and white hair. She remembers the other kid's appearance, closed eyes most of the time and blonde hair, but no memory of his role in the story comes to her mind.

I remember a horror movie I saw when I was younger I’m thinking early 2010’s and we rented this movie from Redbox. I don’t remember a lot about this movie but I remember the killer carving a man’s face off, and I remember he carved Roman numerals into the girls’s foreheads to mark them and there number is the order he was killing them, and I remembered one girl gave another girls. Revolver with one bullet in it and told her she didn’t know how to use it. I should also mention in the film one of the girls carved into her forehead to change her number.

I'm trying to identify an American TV show that was broadcast on Sunday night in the 1971-72 season.

It was a crime drama broadcast in color.

The particular episode I'm trying to find featured a wealthy couple. The wife wanted a divorce. The husband wanted her to stay. The wife falls for a conman who wanted to steal her money. In the end he knocks her unconscious in her bedroom and carries her out to the woods, but the husband jumps out of the trees and saves her. She *may* have had a pet leopard or jaguar.

I’ve been looking for a tt sounds for a few nights now with no luck, hopefully I can find it thru here! It was used a lot in a trend that was along the lines of ‘me sad and spiraling’ to ‘me happy bc of the game I love’ and stuff like that. The beginning of the sound is intense/creepy, with several notes ramping up in volume/intensity I believe 4 times, then it switches to this simple and calm sound. I believe it’s from a video game as well, thought it was omori but it’s only a similar sound, not the one I’m looking for. Thank you!

I've been looking for ages trying to find an asmr(?) Channel of a woman who does her makeup in a dim or dark bathroom that I think is yellow or white in the background and she has like a pretty prominent cave/reverb/echo effect on her microphone and she might be doing the ASMR tapping on the makeup and whispering ironically because I remember she laughs sometimes but I'm not sure. She posts her final look when she is finished with her makeup at the end of the youtube shorts sometimes with filters or music playing.

From what I remember she's only been posting this year or maybe last year too and doing only shorts I think. Sometimes she also talks to someone (possibly her kid) who is off camera in the background or they talk to her and I think sometimes she replies or doesn't reply to them. (Only adding these details because this is purely all what I remember)

A movie from the early 2000s (maybe earlier), where a boy discovers he's a werewolf, but can't control it. There's a scene where he only transforms his middle finger and shows it to another boy. Eventually he learns to control himself and at the end there's a party/festival. There's also a school bus.

I SWEAR Cutie Mew Mew Magic is similar to a FNF song i've heard before. 99.9999 percent sure it's from the Vs Nonsense mod, and probably the title song, but i can NOT find where I recognize it for the life of me. Vs Nonsense is a Friday Night Funkin mod and is a rhythm game to be clear. Specifically the first part sounds like it. Thanks!

I’m trying to identify a scene from a comedy I saw probably sometime in the late ’90s/2000s, although the movie itself could be older.

There’s a shootout happening outside, possibly in a street or park or populated area. I remember the camera coming in from above/high up and focusing on an older woman who, unlike everyone else who is running in every which way, is just standing there during the gunfire.

I think she had gray/curly hair, possibly a hat, and probably a purse.

She repeatedly screams something like:
“AHHH!”
“AHHH!”
“AHHH!”
“AHHH!”
It’s deliberately obnoxious and absurd. It’s way over the top and obviously not anything anyone would do.

The male protagonist runs and crouches/ducks behind her, essentially using her position as cover while someone is shooting at him.

Then there’s a cut to the bad guy/shooter in CU. He fires. The CUs in the shooter had been happening thru the sequence a lot. M

The old woman gives one final long scream like “AAAAAHHHHHHhhhhhh…” as she falls over.

The hero looks surprised/wide-eyed for a beat because his cover is suddenly gone, then crawls/scrambles away.

This was definitely played as a ridiculous comedy gag, not as a serious or upsetting shooting. The overall movie may have been a police/action/buddy-cop spoof or absurd comedy. Tonally I remember something in the general Airplane! / Hot Shots! / Naked Gun / Loaded Weapon / Police Academy universe, but I am NOT saying it was one of those movies.
Also ive checked Loaded Weapon 1 because multiple people/AIs suggested it, and I couldn’t find the scene. I’ve also seen the Naked Gun movies enough that I don’t think it’s from those.

I probably saw the movie on HBO/Showtime or another movie channel rather than owning it.

I am looking for a movie I watched when I was a kid back in 1999. It features about 5 children, aged between 6 and 12 years old, including a young girl. They are wandering around fields when they find a convertible car and start driving it. They eventually reach a sunflower field. The youngest boy opens the trunk (boot), finds bottles of alcohol, starts drinking, and gets drunk. Meanwhile, the other children cut the sunflowers and eat the seeds. Afterwards, they get back into the car and reach a crossroads where they can either turn right or left. Instead, they drive straight ahead, right into a field, and end up on a beach where they head down to the sea. From what I remember, the entire movie has no dialogue or noise. I think I watched it on a German channel or on ARTE, which usually broadcasts this type of art film."

I heard about this in a post with two examples and one was “The Sun and the Moon appear to be roughly the same size from Earth.”

I remember the other was even cooler but now I can’t recall.
