That’s what I’m going to start doing. It’s stressing them out right now. I’ll have them do all their work on paper and then we can more easily fill out on their computers to actually turn it in.

No one warns for that, they just warn you about terrible twos! lol, anyways I truly want my kids (and EVERY kid!) to have their best chance, and I try hard to advocate for them. 🤗

Oh, I 100% agree. Teaching is hard, and they don’t get paid what they deserve. I was furious this year to discover my kids teachers have to pay 10 cent per copy for all their work sheets so they’ve been making them do it on these ridiculous computers..

I asked if I could donate an amount of money to get some of these things printed or if I could print them myself. They said no - they want all laptop based. (Ex my daughter had a 13 page long project she HAD to do on a touch screen laptop. Including drawing graphs, etc. I wanted to print it to make it easier because she’s having to scroll back and forth and attempt to draw detailed graphs on an 11” screen.)

I don’t know…seeing 45 different apps on a computer screen and my kids aren’t even allowed to do physical pen & paper work is so off putting. It makes everything 10x harder and slower to complete.

We need to be funding schools FAR more, and funding wars FAR less. The education system in this country is really lacking and not setting up these kids for success.

I suppose to answer your actual question, it’s hard to say. Hanging often is meant to snap the neck, so suicidal hangings from my understanding are far more prolonged and horrific. I’d guess you weren’t terribly close to death as you were still conscious
