Listen to the workers commenting on your post. They will provide you with restraining orders and they can help you keep custody from him. They can even put a permanent one against your babies and him so he can't steal them from you.

I agree 100% and I know a woman that does this nasty as sht. She will literally let it sit and sit and sit and sit but never get rid of the dogs. Also kept her dogs in crates for long periods of time and wouldn't clean the crates out when a mess was made so she would have to bathe the dog all the time and yeah it was nasty and yet she would complain about a bag of cheese being ate from her apartment like it was a cardinal sin.
