Fenerbache announced her coming over for the next season (which is WNBA offseason). She will likely play in a front court pairing with Fener-queen Emma Meesseman.
Fenerbache is obviously a very good landing spot for her to develop. The roster is usually stacked with great players. However, they have yet to release their full roster for the offseason.

Good morning everyone!
As the WNBA is on break for the FIBA World Cup, we are going to focusing this sub on the FIBA WC games over the next couple weeks!
What does this mean?
All USA games will have a game thread
All French Games will have a game thread
All Knockout Games will also have a game thread!
There will be a megathread for all other group games during the day
WNBA content/posts will still be on this sub obviously, but FIBA WC posts will be more prevalent as well!
Hopefully it’ll be a fun tournament in Berlin and also in here!

I have to get this off my chest.
All these "most [x] in a season!!!" posts are cool, but every time I roll my eyes because *we are in the longest season in WNBA history.* It's just easier to amass points, rebounds, assists, whatever.
I also get tired of the made up stats (across all leagues) that seem to be popping up recently. I'm sure whoever just had the first game with 13.6+ points, 1.9+ rebounds, and 6 fouls in less than ten minutes is proud, but it feels like a reach.
On the flip side, this effect gives me a little extra boost when single game records (shout-out Angel Reese) or season average records fall because they stand out from the load of "most Fitbit steps by a Virgo in a single season" posts.
I don't want anything to /really/ change and we should continue to celebrate accomplishments and records. I just want to yell at my cloud.

Found this really fascinating. There’s so much that goes into making sure that players are comfortable/happy and locked in.
Clipped from the Atlanta Dream’s most recent video found here: https://youtu.be/XMKLCfj7-CE?is=JV0WGBNK1RRP1oAa

Fiba world cup is the best opportunity to show if she can compete in the wnba for nexts year draft. She's one of the players to watch for when she comes off the bench.
Edit: reworded.

hello! forgive my cornplating, it’s only day 1 of the fiba break and i am suffering withdrawals. i noticed that the dream have these cool electric blue accessories like the leggings, sleeves, headbands, etc with their rebel kits. i was wondering if they’re the only team to have non-black-and-white accessories this season?
this cool article talks about the origins of the one-legged sleeve, and in it you can see that some teams have had colorful accessories in the past.
hypothetically, what teams to do you think could incorporate another color into their kits’ accessories? or do you think it’s distracting? as a valkyries fan, i think their signature violet would look great as a headband or sleeve, specifically with their white kits.
hope everyone is coping well with the fiba break!
How often is there a break? I haven’t been around for long. This World Cup break, Olympics. How often does WNBA break season for other event? 2 year cycle?

She does so much for the game and for women’s sports. Let’s send her some love. I’m sure she could use it right now.
EDIT: Hey all, I appreciate the upvotes and comments, but I meant actually send it to her (not me).
Go comment on threads, X, or IG. She goes by sportsiren. Seriously, let’s send her some love and good thoughts!

What are the season ticket prices looking like for your teams? I’m on the list for Comets season tickets and so far they’ve just sent out the pricing for floor seats (which is of course steep: 42k-11k for a season ticket). They haven’t released anything else but wondering how everyone else’s is looking/stacking up?

The break is upon us! It's World Cup season! I made a list of all the active WNBA players who are on different World Cup rosters, in case anyone else is interested in watching their favourite players on their countries' teams. I only included anyone on a W roster right now (DPs included) and used FIBA's roster tracker to confirm. There's at least one active W player on every roster except Puerto Rico's and every W team has at least one player on a World Cup roster! Let me know if I missed anyone.
