We know this was a pretty tragic event for the X-men, and a lot of heroes weren’t able to get there in time due to how fast it happened.

So I’m curious, were there any heroes alone that could’ve stopped the massacre? I was thinking someone like Thor possibly, anyone else?

So I’m reading the HoX/PoX TPB and while House is tremendous [insert Lady Gaga adjective gif], Powers has me both bored and confused. The characters and world building of the future storyline feels so boilerplate and weak compared to HoX, which is so singular and captivating. It comes across like textbook future dystopia, from the setting to the way everyone talks. I also can’t quite understand what the overall goal is other than: Mutant No Die. I’m having a tough time connecting with the characters, the dialogue especially feels really inauthentic. It kind of brings down my enjoyment of the story as a whole. It’s not bad, don’t get me wrong, it just suffers in comparison to what’s happening with the founding of Krakoa.

Am I missing something? Do I need to read further? By the way, what’s next in the reading order for Krakoa?

One last thing: the art in these issues is fucking phenomenal. Pepe Larraz is a god tier X-Men artist with RB Silva not far behind. Marte Gracia’s coloring also makes their art absolutely sing.

For years, the only X-Men I cared about was Wolverine, loved his character, love his story, but when it comes to the X-Men he was the furthest I got, but since the X-Men movie has been announced and as well as I’ve gotten back into Marvel rivals I’ve had a look at the mutants I’ve overlooked, and i was missing out, Wolverine will always be my favourite but gambit and Magik are really getting up there, magik because her story and her character concept is great and limbo from the little I know about it so far seems like an interesting place, gambit because his personality and that his outfit is the exact same style I would go for if I was a superhero (mainly the cost),

ironic because out of all the mutants that I could’ve picked to be my top favourites, it was the ones that are lest likely to be in the new x men movie 🫠 since to my knowledge there not part of the main team and gambit is gonna be in doomsday so I doubt they would want to redo do him any time soon and Magik.. idk she just doesn’t seem likely which is annoying because she’s very cool

Oh i’ve even created a mutant oc but I’m struggling with the power scaling since there’s so many abilities I want but they have nothing to do with each other or would make everything too easy 😅 ik secondary mutations are a thing which I might use but I don’t know if they have to be connected to the first mutant power

Not sure if this is the right place to ask but a few months ago a local online business trading site listed this hat for bidding. I bid and won it because nobody else bid on it. Months later and I still cannot find a listing or picture of it on the internet other than the listing on the site I bought it from. Google tells me it was a promotional item in movie theatre's but other than that I can't get more information about it. Can anyone tell me if they've seen this hat before? I ask this cuz the cover looks to be their classic suits and I tried reading the first few x men comics but because of the time period they’re so hard to get through

There were several comments comparing Psylocke’s fame (Hot ninja) in the 90s to Magik’s fame now (Hot demon girl) and how it was just primarily visually driven…and how they’re more trendy than iconic and there were arguments that Psylocke’s confusing history (body swap) prevented her from reaching the top of the x-men popularity. Betsy was red-hot in the 90’s but has cooled down considerably today.

What part of Magik’s character do you think will hold her back from being a permanent fixture in x-men comics? (If any) I know Magik's magical based power kept her from being in x-men stories in the 90's...could that happen again? I was kinda shocked how many fan art had them together...
