I just installed CFW on my New 3DS XL and the 32GB micro SD card I've been using in it for years has this giant folder just named Nintendo in it that's 23 GB large and eating up most of the space. Does anyone know exactly why this folder is even here and if it's safe to delete? No amount of googling or FAQs have helped me figure out what it is and I'm too scared to just delete it

everything was normal until i updated some things on Uni Updater and then my home page came out looking like this, no homebrew apps are here.

I'm stuck with a New 2DS XL that immediately displays the black system error screen upon turning it on. I cannot get past it to reach the Home Menu.

Here is what I've tested so far:

Booting without MicroSD: Still gives the exact same error screen immediately.

Luma3DS / SELECT menu: Placed a fresh boot.firm (latest Luma3DS) on a FAT32 formatted MicroSD card. Holding SELECT at boot does nothing — direct black error screen.

Recovery Mode: Holding L + R + D-Pad Up + A boots into the System Update screen. However, trying to update says the console is already up to date.

Since it doesn't trigger Luma, I can't launch a CTRTransfer to fix the SysNAND.

Could this be a corrupted HOME Menu / SysNAND issue that requires ntrboot (flashcart + magnet) to force GM9 execution?
Could this be a hardware fault (e.g., faulty Wi-Fi module, bad MicroSD slot, or dying NAND chip)?

Any advice on what to test next would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

For some reason, certain titles aren’t appearing in the flag software app. I know they have save data but they’re still not there.

The title I’m trying to find is Pokemon Blue. I haven’t had any issue with pirated software appearing in flag software before. PKSM also recognizes it. I really just want to load my Red save in Blue so I can get the other version exclusives. Anyone know any fixes that might work?

I just updated all my 3ds apps i had installed in the 3ds through universal updater. I was kind of happy because i thought that with a new update to checkpoint, new cheats would be available but now checkpoint doesnt do cheats….. what can i do!?

Hey Friends, I read a few days ago about how 3ds games need to be "repaired" every once in a while with a program in a modded 3ds. It had me thinking I may need to get a modded one. So.my questions are, what systems can be modded for this repair? Do I need to open my sealed 3ds games to do it? What is the expected price point for a modded system? I have all the Zelda 3ds/2ds. However I do not want to get any of them modded.

My friend wanted to do Soft resets for Kyurem in Pokemon Ultra Sun and we are seeing a freeze and an error message

I tried the cardridge on my non modded console and no issue here

Also, we tried with my cartridge of Ultra Sun on his modded 3DS and he has the same issue

Funny but he has no issues running Pokemon Ultra Moon

I would be grateful to get help because it’s his childhood game and he’s kinda sad because he can’t play it

hi, this is completely my fault for doing it while tired but in the final step of region changing when you're supposed to copy 00010017 to 0:/gm9/out and then delete it, i just deleted it without copying. everything seems to be working okay but the guide said this step is important and i'm a noob so i don't even know what i deleted. if someone knows what i'm supposed to do i'd really appreciate it (and yes i do have my nand backup if needed)

Recently i bought this 3DS, and it already came modded with Luma3DS and I'm trying to access GM9 on my modded 3DS, but even doing all the step by step correctly, I got stuck in this screen and I'm not able to launch GM9 for some reason, can anyone help me? What am I doing wrong? I tried to navigate to the folder where the GodMode9.firm is but it didn't worked either

I looked on the wiki/guide, and saw nothing about this situation. I did the steps to fix an issue I had after updating Universal Updater got rid of all my tiles. I fixed it, but then went into Data Management to remove some things I no longer wanted (a few Virtual Console games). When I came out of Data Management, my tiles were gone again. The system acted more and more squirrely, and then, the SD card died. 3DS says there's no SD card in it when I put it in, and my computer doesn't recognize it when I put it in, either. It's dead. (And yes, it was a 128GB SanDisk.)

So, I have a new SD card coming tomorrow, and since nothing in the Wiki describes this, that I'm aware of (please correct me if I'm wrong), I ask here again. Where do I start re-modding this thing when the SD card is dead, but the system's been modded before? Help would be most appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Revtendo was shut down the other day and a guid was posted on the discord of how to safely remove it but i havent had the chance to do it. Theyve just nuked the discord server and wondering if anyone knows how to remove revtendo and the account safely?

I've bought this modded 3DS recently and it already came modded with Luma3DS, I'm trying to access GM9 on my modded 3DS, but even doing all the step by step correctly I got stuck in this screen for some reason, and I can't do what I want. I've tried to acces the GodMode9.firm by going on More.../browse but it didn't work either. Can someone help me? Am I doing something wrong? Im running it on Luma3DS v6.6

I want to move files from my phone to ftp to add ds games but as soon as I connect this happens. What am I doing wrong?

I saw it on reddit, in a big collection post talking about roms for the DS games and hacks for them, at least a year ago? I was excited to travel around Unova with my mons at my side, experiencing the seasons, etc. But now it seems scrubbed off the internet?? I saw that there seems to be a complete mod(or mostly, at least?) for PokeMMO... Does that not work for the vanilla roms? Was there some sort of big legal attack from nintendo again, or some shit?

If any of y'all could help, it would be GREATLY appreciated. I swear I was reading about this mod somewhere, and how it had finished the following sprites for all the Unova mons.

I have a Samsung and in the My Files it lets me set up a FTP server which i can use to send games to my 3ds cfw. I would just like a tutorial on how to set this server up

So far I have tried the following.

- Resetting my internet connection, both at the router and my deleting and retyping my Internet details into the 2DS.

- Manually deleted the Universal updater folder in the 3ds to let the updater try to fix it.

-Reinstall universal updater using a .cia through FBI.

-Switching store fronts with universal updater, then switching back to the default.

- Uninstalling universal updater from system data management then reinstalling also didn't work

- Switching back to an older SD card that has my back ups does fix the issue, but if there's a solution that doesn't require redownloading all my games, it would be lovely, as my backup is just that, a fresh CFW install SD card (only 4gb too)

- Gonna try another SD card I guess, will update here eventually, just strange as I've been playing games/saving no issues, no obvious corruption on the SD when I view it on PC and it also passed h2testw fine, oh well, the 4gb working fine was a smoking gun, must be the SD.

Any and all help would be appreciated.
