I haven't even played Resonance yet, I've just been listening to the album while I work. 'The Land', 'Patera', 'Call of the Ancients', 'The Trials', 'To Our Parents' -- such gorgeous, rich and varied work. Between The Flight's score for Assassin's Creed: Odyssey, Ludwig Göransson's earthy, thorny soundscape for Nolan's Odyssey and now Olivier going sicko mode, fans of Ancient Greece are dining so well

Made this costume myself, and it's one of my all-time faves. (The rat is real, btw!)

You stab the guy like 30 times during that fight and then they just sit there and calmly talk, like nothing happened. They don't even breathe heavily. Not to mention they go from being enemies to death, cutting each other with steal, to working together in matter of seconds, without any major reason other than... being tired? Wtf was that :D I know you cannot overthink or sometimes even think in videogames, but this was pretty weird and immersion breaking in a game, that goes for serious and grounded tone (be it with unnatural elements). And there were so many such moments, where the game lost any sense of logic. Like when you spent solving multiple puzzles and opening multiple doors in order to solve your way into ancient "impenetrable" temple, only for enemies (without necessary key) to just appear out of nowhere in the middle of a that place in every other room. Using exit fire staircase, I guess.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying hard to find an excuses to find a dirt on it. I just find some of it really missing any sense in very distracting way. I wonder, if anyone else noticed these "game illogics" as well.
edit: what a pointless post, huh? I got to much free time :)

Hey folks, I put together a platinum guide for Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy.
WeHunt is still pretty new and I’m actively trying to make the guides better, so I’d genuinely love any feedback, stuff that’s missing, annoying, unclear, whatever. Don’t worry about hurting my feelings lol.

I just finished A Plague Tale: Resonance, and I absolutely loved it.
While the gameplay style differs from previous entries, it makes complete sense: Sophia is a raider used to fighting and defending herself. Unlike Amicia, who relied more on stealth, combat feels natural for her.
This entry takes a totally different direction by leaning into Greco-Roman mythology. We discover a young Sophia used as a test subject—likely by the Order, given the symbol on the notebook. While the nuns' exact motives remain unclear, we know Sophia is poisoned and drawn to a mysterious island (the very same place where her father later dies).
When Sophia reaches the island, the atmosphere feels enchanting despite her grief. The crystal-clear water, bright blue skies, and glowing fireflies create a fairy-tale world you just want to dive into. Her relationship with Leni—whether friendship or something more—is genuinely refreshing, and the soundtrack sets the tone perfectly.
The dives into the past are spectacular and leave you wanting to learn more about Theseus. But as you progress, this epic adventure slowly turns into absolute horror: hostile soldiers searching for the treasure, increasingly harsh trials, and that agonizing, terrifying monster lurking in the dark.
After Leni’s death, Sophia’s despair is heartbreaking, yet she’s forced to keep moving—driven by Theseus's call and the poison slowly killing her. Meanwhile, Faro’s motivations are grounded and believable. Driven by obsession to succeed where Sophia’s father failed, he fears losing his standing and views his adopted daughter as a threat to his leadership.
Blending the figures of Theseus and Ariadne is a brilliant narrative choice. By the ending, it becomes clear that Ariadne serves as the Protector to Asterion, just like Aelia and Amicia were before her. Asterion is clearly afflicted by a form of the Macula: the chains matching Basilius's, his isolation once people feared him, a Protector as his only anchor, and his destructive powers. Does the Macula mutate or evolve over time?
The Order clearly still holds many secrets, and A Plague Tale has so much more universe left to explore.

I played the majority of the game thinking from the start that Leni was the traitor. So up until she got her leg snapped I didn’t give a damn how she felt about anything. Which then kinda had me less attached to her by the time she got petrified and we could burn her out of her misery. Overall though the game was phenomenal.

I've been hearing mixed things on this game, and I usually buy APT games at full price, but I always regret it because months later it's always 12 bucks. Is this a must have game to play right now, or is it worth waiting on?

Finished the game today. Think I'll write down a review for it later. Good night everyone!

I had 0 problem with any other puzzle in the game, but this one I couldn't figure out for good 20 minutes. First I got stuck, because it didn't occur to me to use sphere ability around mirrors (which the game didn't suggest in any way and didn't do once before this one) and then I got stuck at the final part and even when assist/companion spelled out the solution out loud, I could not see the logic behind it for the next 5 minutes of staring at screen. I guess I didn't notice, that 3 of 6 symbols in the book are circles (inner, outer and mid circles), because I first noticed other symbols and presumed all 6 symbols in the book are from the symbols on the wall (bull's head, snake etc.).
Just curious, if I'm that much slow today or if it was badly designed and confusing.

I think that a plague tale series has got to be one of the most underrated games of all time
1-first of all the game offers a great storytelling experience and one of the most happy endings in the first season and one of the most tragic endings in gaming history
2-the gameplay of this game is not that bad especially in season 2 and its stealth is so well done
that is an opinion I don't see much frequently

Just finished the game is it correct, hugo miasma is different to theseus’s brother miasma? But same fate? Both how they got it and how it end.
Does it mean plague tale will have more different spinoff?

I’m not MASSIVELY far into Resonance so no spoilers but right at the start as Sophia enters the carnival there’s a young girl and a little boy holding hands in masks making conversation and their voices sound super similar to the Derune siblings, is it a cameo from the actors or just a coincidence with VAs who sound similar?
Edit to explain: I don’t mean the characters they play, I mean the actors themselves. I know Amicia and Hugo don’t appear.

power went out when game was saving my checkpoint so the slot was corrupted.
Can anyone please give me the save file of the chapter 10?
Thanks!

Ive been trying to fix he brightness on Requiem. I have HDR turned off and the brightness set all the way to 0 and the exposure looks horrible. If I try with HDR on I literally cant see anything because its so washed out. Ive never had this issue on any other game before, any ideas?
