I have a question. I turned blue badge on May and started to collect the standard pto and flexible, however flexible I capped out as soon as I converted so I haven’t received flexible pto. But rn I just checked to see my standard pto balance and now it shows a “Sick” option that was never before. Does anyone have that and if so, is that a considered “sick time” ? It wasn’t like that some days ago

Pretty sure my managers were targeting me and controlling where I went and would put me next to people that I didn’t want to be around and these people would try to antagonize me.
They were basically working with my coworkers to bully me out of the department. I reported 2 of my coworkers to HR and the next day they put me between them in the same row.

Last week I found out my grandmother had a stroke and my dad’s not sure if she’s even gonna make it another 6 months and they’re both on the other side of the country so I can’t just go visit her and then a few days I developed a really painful tooth infection that resulted in me going in for a emergency dentist visit where I was informed I will have to 17 teeth removed and get dentures at the age of 31. I feel so hopeless and I don’t know what to do, I feel so trapped and like ending it all is my only option.
I can’t afford to take off work right now because I still have to pay my rent and other bills and I don’t have anything in savings.

Simple question:
Would I get fired for having a dogshit rate for one day? All i’ve been getting today are massive packages with pods that’ll only let me put like one or 2 items in and non stop asin scans. I legit can’t break past 180 uph let alone 5 upf. on top of that, i had to start the day with a 30 minute refresher test, lost time cause a cleaning lady came to sweep, and a majority of the asin scan packages are taking forever to scan cause the barcode is all mangled or has the red tag right over the barcode i need to scan, so i end up wasting time using my knife to peel the red tag up. shit like this kills my uph and all the managers ever seem to say are “well, everyone’s dealing with it too so tough nuts”

I have a permanent ankle injury (doctor and I tried PT and injections nothing worked but potential surgery). I currently work in a heavier lifting position (that I usually like ) driving OP’s. I am basically being held hostage by the bureaucracy right now. I tried to get an extension of my accommodations. I wanted to go back to work weeks ago but they keep postponing. How can I just get permanent accommodations and be done with all the paperwork and bureaucracy? Is it even possible to get permanent accommodations for a lighter lifting position?

My partner recently had a miscarriage and it's genuinely the lowest I've ever seen her. How does bereavement work? Ive genuinely never heard about anyone using it before.

TLDR:I got my 3rd behavioral write up for a misunderstanding and the person who was with me didn’t get anything(not that I’d want them to)
I’m now on my 3rd write up and it seems the more quiet, depressed, and locked in on the job I get the more of a problem I am. Anyways I’ve been thinking management had been trying to get me gone asap especially after they decide go train me on pick after months of me telling them I’m having problems with my leg. This most recent write up comes from a network shut down after the pick system went down momentarily and they said something on the intercom I didn’t hear and I had another worker beside me that also didn’t hear it so we waited at the end of the pick aisles for the system to come back up (no hiding plain sight) until it felt like they just weren’t going to come back up and left. While I went to ask around, a pa found me and told me to go get restaffed by the manager which I didn’t even know was an option because I had been on pick for a month and a half straight at that point. Anyways it comes back around that we were supposed to go see him at the start of the issues and I apologized to the manger and said that I should’ve found someone (in a regret way and not admitting that I was defying the rules or anything) and I never thought twice about until I received my 3rd behavioral write up today for it and the person I was with didn’t even get one. I didn’t admit that I should have probably gone to see what was up but since the more experienced picker was chilling so was I and especially since no secondary effort was made by management to contact us was made, I just assumed it happened every now and then. What makes it worse is that she was questioned first on what was going on and we both had alibis for eachother. I’m just sick of getting write ups for stupid stuff like taking a shit when I could really be bullshitting like a lot of other ppl and I’m not understanding how a misunderstanding with two matching stories can turn into an entire write up for me.my second write up was literally because I left my badge in a break room and had to scan late so I informed them. I’ve been there for 3 years now and I started off bumpy and have been fighting that rep since. This new batch of managers miss so heavily on the human side I think there’s no point in even asking me about my tot if ur just gonna give me a write up anyways.Srry I wrote this very shitty I’ll make the tldr better
Anyways lemme know if there’s some typpa juicy check I can get out of this discrimination, neglect, anything

Was fired recently from Amazon, a manager came up from behind as i was on my phone exited a staircase heading to the bathroom (which is like 15-20 steps maximum) and gave me a coaching.
But since i was on my final i got fired about two days later via a phone call (mind you i was on 90th day which is the final day sadly lol)
Anyways, for more insight my i just won full custody of my 3 year old daughter who also has Leukemia & because of that she requires a G-Tube to eat since she refuses to by mouth.
My girlfriend (not my daughters mom) had texted me regarding her G-Tube being loose and she was scared it was gonna fall out so i texted to her on how to check it, went to my A-Z app to check how much UPT/PTO i had and boom the write up happened.
To some it all up i did a Peer Panel & its tomorrow, am i cooked?

I need some advice from anyone who may have been thru this type of scenario..I'm a part time T1 and i was in a relationship with a PA who works in my dept for a few months. I had no idea about Amazon's fraternization policy until she told me because i had never been involved with someone at Amazon before and she's had some HR cases brought up in the past. So things eneded with us and now things are super uncomfortable at work. I tried to transfer depts in my site but they dont have anything part time per business needs. Anyone have any suggestions?? I dont wanna tell HR the REAL reason why i wanna transfer because i have a feeling they will just fire us both.

Good afternoon all and happy September!
Lately, a couple of my coworkers at my site have been feeling the burnout of being at my Fresh FC and wanted to ask site leadership (or upper site leadership) to see if we can implement Lyft Passes or a way to subsidize their travel. It’s been a discussion point here for the 2.5 years I’ve been employed here. This is also around the time sites discuss a Wage Review, or what (if at all) a raise would look like later in the year.
I do feel bad for some of my coworkers because they either don’t earn a lot or work a lot, and typically they spend a portion of their weekly income just for transportation. My site is in NYC and fortunately there’s 24/7 transit (albeit slower on nights, sometimes changes in the mix weekends), we’re a mile walk from multiple subway stops (3 lines), bus lines, but I do see it as a financial barrier for those who can’t drive, and in some cases just taking Uber/Lyft/taxi feels a better option (& cuts commutes by roughly half) than riding on public transit for an hour or more.
Don’t think it’ll help me personally since I’m out of state from my site and I already travel far (or at times very far), in addition to doing photography as my job/business.
Then again, we’re all responsible (associates, and managers too) for our own means of travel to get to and from work in a timely fashion.

Had a PA tell me he’ll write me up if he saw me wearing the non approved head phones. I got some off amazon because they arrived the next day, but this loser said i can’t wear them because we “don’t work for amazon” (???) so I had to order the amazon ones.
And god, these are so dogshit, it’s like half the max volume of the amazon ones.
Are the headphones worth getting??

Might be a stupid question, but on holidays blue badges gets 8hrs pay, but if you work that holiday you still get them plus your regular worked pay?

For some reason the fridges in our break room that are usually cleaned out by staff weekly have not been cleaned out for the past two weeks and they’re filling up with people’s garbage! It’s not even lunch boxes taking up space, it’s random food boxes and opened drinks that sit there for days and don’t move. Why do people leave stuff in there and not come back for it? This coffee has been sitting in the back of the fridge for over a week, and it’s only at the back because after three days of it sitting in the front I gently pushed it back so I could actually fit my lunch box on the shelf. We’re adults, can you not pick up after yourselves?

I have an initial interview for a recruiting business partner interview. Worked at a mid science engineering firm as a recruitment coordinator. I don’t have much experience with the actual filling of roles and KPIs and SLAs etc or much with metrics for recruitment as I’ve been more on the coordination and more recently started supporting early talent recruitment. What advice do you have regarding those examples and highlighting my strength in “filling roles” and “time to fill” metrics? I’m really nervous!

I just checked a few minutes ago and saw that the new AR building in wilmington now has internal transfers posted. They don't have that many posted though. The only shift they have posted for days in donut (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday). The also have night shifts available. I have always worked back half days but I guess I will give donut shift a try

I was going to use ploa for a surgery recovery and I have 2 days left to submit it to stay in the 2 week window you need for summiting ploa. A problem came up with the surgery scheduling and I might have to reschedule it for a later date. If I already submit ploa and it gets approved can I cancel it or can it get cancelled?
