We haven’t even unlocked the Linlang region however it has been integrated into events and outfit sets almost non-stop since the game has launched. I get that infold is a Chinese company so leaning into more of their culture is to be expected, but wouldn’t it be akin to an American dressup game releasing cowboy outfits every other season? Don’t get me wrong I’ve enjoyed it, but the frequency is getting redundant and now I am starting to fear that LinLang might be the 3.0 region. The sudden surge in Linlang themed outfits completely out of left field is my biggest reason for thinking so, and during the 2.9 story quests Professor Adventura has you play an excavating mini game where you find 3 relics: a wish lantern (Florawish), a boneflower (Itzaland), and a paper umbrella (LinLang). It could just be my imagination running wild but it very much feels like an easter egg hinting at Linlang being the 3rd region and I don’t know if I could take it so early in the game knowing what other diverse regions are still locked out. While playing through 2.6-2.7 I convinced myself Whaleport was the next region, but we’re getting such a high volume of linlang themed outfits my hopes are quickly crumbling.

I thought they had also mentioned a 3.0 preview would be included at Gamescon, so I’ve been eagerly awaiting news but…. Seems to be crickets on that front?

Edit to add: coming out of 1.0, I was very excited for Cicia or Linlang to be the next regions, but I feel like Itzaland raised the bar so much higher than I expected that I am now craving more diverse terrains and aesthetics.

Yes i know no one wanna see about this topic anymore, sub really became a messy place bc of this and this is gonna be like rubbing salt on a wound im sorry for that but i still think its important to discuss.

Cause this design choice or safety mesh, whatever name you wanna give, look like a low effort work to me and to alot people i guess. I can accept them putting this kind of things bc of policies or whatever reason but why they didnt done similar thing like nameless selfless? I actually just lately realised nameless selfless has a thing like that cause it done well, it doesnt look bad and it complete the dress like cmonnn disagree with me but you cant look at these two and say the other done well. Thats the part i cant accept cause theyre ruining the dresses, the second evo really tempted me but nope i dont wanna spend anything to this type of works and if you like it sure i cant dictate what you gonna pull or not but i hated this and i will mention this on survey and i think everyone should do too so hopefully they will stop putting a shiny fabric over there and called it a day.

Alot people accepted and pull when they did fabric thing at 2.6 so they will keep doing it, it wont get better i dont even think it was a part of design at first agree or not thats my opinion that probably was last added thing but thats ok like i said i know how china players and china policies are and even though i find this type of thing wrong i can guess they wont change it.

But theres nothing wrong with wanting changes and improvements in a game we spend time, money and creativeness. Its not something we can say "drop the game" or "dont pull" situation, so i will keep wording my opinion if i see a problem and people should that too even though we wont gain anything.

Lastly i wanna say, im not playin lads but i see whats happening there and valko drama showed me infold true colors again and again but players are doing a really good job with their boycotts, i want IN community to be like that too. I know problem isnt same not even close im not comparing, im not saying lets all boycott but that community really give me hope then i look here and... we have a big chaos. We shouldnt show anger and hate to other players who wants changes i kindly request a bit more chill and respectful sub. They dont listen non of us anyway but we keep hurting each other😭 and i highly recommend blocking someone if they that much hitting a nerve, it sounds childish but you cant survive and keep your sanity in social media without blocking people so do it, believe me it works!

It's really unfortunate that the game seems to punish players who haven't been here since day 1. I started playing a couple months ago so obviously I've missed a lot of limited time events. And it's making me sad. Like, I just finished the Queen's Palace quest line from the Eerie season, which was before I started, and despite the fact that the "Palace Ruins Cavern" shows up on my map, I can't access it because it's locked behind a limited time event quest that already happened.
It's also frustrating that despite the game officially saying you can start in Itzaland or Wishfield, you're punished by the limited time events for not doing Itzaland stuff.

I don't have full ten right now so I'm wondering should I wait until I do

Does this happen to anybody else when putting the wings from the White Night's Ballet onto the dress from Soundless Dawn? The 3D chest piece that comes with the wings is half cut off? It just looks sooooo terrible and its ruining all of my photos :( It would be so easy for them to just add a toggle for these things. I just dont understand why they're willing to ruin more than half of their outfits with this.

Well, despite what I said in my other post, I did end up pulling for the new outfit. Honestly, I don't feel like I'm pulling out of FOMO—like I'm missing out on something essential. In the end, I just made peace with this banner and decided to pull with a cool head, knowing I'm doing it because the 5-star outfit's individual pieces are pretty, even if the outfit's actual skill is useless for my account. So, you could say it's one of those personal cases where I pull because it looks good, not for the ability. Plus, I really like the 4-star evolution; I feel like it breathes more life into the base angel outfit. And believe me, I’ve heard both negative and positive things about the new 5-star outfit. I’m well aware of that.

On the other hand—why lie?—the 100 free pulls and extra gifts were definitely a bonus that encouraged me to pull, since I like those too. The only thing I dislike is the floral face decoration; I find it gross to see on Nikki's face—much like the face accessory on the lion outfit, which also gives me the creeps.

One last thing: I’ve been seriously considering pulling for the "Stardust Flare" outfit rerun after I finish pulling for the new 5-star character, but I’m not sure if I’ll have enough pulls—I mean, at the very least, I just want the base version and that’s it. What do you guys think?

I’m really curious about how people discovered and started playing Infinity Nikki, especially those who began playing in Version 2. As you know, the game is notorious for that one disastrous patch (*cough* patch 1.5), not to mention the recent Valko LADS drama, which has further soured public perception of the title because IN is also by Infold. Also, regardless of complains you have for the game, what made you stay or return playing?

Personally for me, there's just no alternative for IN, plus i've grown attached to Nikki series & have played their games for a decade. It's not easy to let go a game franchise that i pretty much grew up with. Exploring Miraland in 3d is a dream come true for me.

I get that shroomlings are important to the ecosystem and shroomseras were raised in ignorance on purpose but please. A whole *year* of babysitting the mushrooms is too much.

I'm not against inhuman characters in general, I loved the piecey stories and liked the faewish sprites well enough. The shroomlings are just designed in a way I really dislike, I'd have been way more interested if they for example went really into the fungus aspect and had their culture be tied to decay and strangeness compared to humans instead of acting like a giant preschool with only Shroomkrates and 42 bringing hope for the future generations.

I know their naivety was also a plot device, but if their way of thinking was leaning more alien, they could still be used by Mothis in my opinion. Telling the shroomseras that the rules are the way they are because it's a titan city and this or that is important for the titan race to follow for example, or contorting things to seemingly conform to the shroomling way of thinking could work out just as well.

Okay I am a new player just started today. Or rather tried starting to play today. I made my account installed the game and everything. I gotten through the starting sea of stars and went to Miraland I think it is called? (Sorry if I got the name wrong.) And as soon as I loaded up there. I got an pop up box that said 'network unstable' it showed up before to when I started up in the See of Stars. But it went away quickly. So I figured it was just loading up/connecting. After waiting 10 mins and nothing .I tried uninstalling/reinstalling the game. I tried clearing the cache, and a few other fixes that I found doing a google search. And nothing is working.

Can somebody tell me how to fix it? P.S. I am on a PC, windows 11. And I am using a connected cord to use the internet not wifi. So it isn't wifi getting disconnected.

Also I am able to run Genshin Impact just fine without any connection issues and a few other games. It just seems Nikki is the only game I am having this issue with.

first and foremost, sorry to everyone who likes these outfits 😭

stardust flare because i didn’t know how the gacha worked back in the day. i never used a single piece except the makeup at the beginning of my nikki journey

covenant of time because i let the hype consume me and pulled for the gloves and socks (and also the hair). never used them even once because they dye terribly on medium skin tones… it kinda soured the whole outfit for me… wish the gradients were better and the colours were more richer instead of pastel looking

now i keep martyring myself over the fact that i wasted 83 crystals on them when i could’ve used them on something better or pulled for the evos of outfits that i actually use daily

in this economy, i really need to stop pulling impulsively 😭 advice for future me!!!

I'm still not over these beautiful boys and I'm still very sad about what Infold did to Angert. I'd been desperately hoping that maybe the next update we'd see something about him and his past, so I'm a bit disappointed 2.9 wasn't about him. Shroomseras deserve happiness, so does Angert.

I miss him terribly and I wish we could keep him longer in the story. Seeing him in Meghill's office isn't the same as having him with us on the quest.

And now I don't really know if I should keep hoping or let it go. I do feel stupid for getting attached to him so bad because now what.

He's one of the most tragic characters in the game and carried so much self loathing for so many years. It has to be resolved, but I doubt it will be.

I'm missing him so much that I'm rewatching the quests on YouTube, just his parts. Help. :(​
