Charming little city

I just got out of my car, started walking down to the beach and snapped this with my phone (this was taken in the off-season- the best time to go!).

What more could you ask for?

First two photos were taken near Moville.

The seals were chilling near the Boardwalk Resort, while the tide was out.

The pizza was 10/10, I would highly recommend the Rusty Oven in Dunfanaghy.

Took this while heading back into town from Ballydavid. There was a gorgeous sunset that evening. The Three Sisters can be seen in the background.

I took these two photos randomly yesterday on my daily walk with Maya and I love how the sun rays peeped through the tree and the moon later on. Peaceful walks like these make me so happy 😊

After the solar eclipse earlier that day, I headed out around midnight to find a relatively dark spot along the coast at Loughshinny. I set up two cameras, one running 15-second exposures and the other on 30-second intervals, to cover as much of the night sky as possible over a two-hour window.

Out of nearly 1,000 frames (most filled with plane trails and Starlink satellites!), about 100 captured actual meteors, ranging from subtle streaks to bright fireballs. This final image is a composite blending roughly 30 of the best frames to show the true scale of the shower over the bay.

I’ve also included some raw, straight-off-the-camera files in the carousel so you can see exactly how they looked before processing! 📸➡️
