What’s a play, a narrative, a fanbase trope, literally anything that is just so dumb and unfathomable its hard to believe it even happened.

A few of my Examples:
-Zappe being better than Jones. Yes Jones was ass in the end, but Zappe was not going to be better yet people acted like he’d be our lord and savior.

-End of the 2022 Raiders game. One of the dumbest and most embarrassing endings to a game i’ve ever seen at the NFL level. And seeing Mac Jones get stiffed straight to the turf was a good representation for the season.

-1991 Hugh Millen screws the game against the Broncos.

There’s alot you could put, especially from the 2020s, like the Colts game played overseas that ended Jones’s starter job. I’m just interested in what you guys consider some of the dumbest moments in Patriots history.

Patriots traded QB Joe Milton III and a 7th round pick to Dallas for a 2025 5th round pick. Dallas would go on to select DT Jay Toia in the 7th round.

That 2025 draft pick was later traded by New England to Detroit that year for a 6th and 7th round picks in that draft. Detroit used the pick to draft OL Miles Frazier.

With the 6th round pick, the Patriots seleceted K Andres Borregales.

The Patriots would then swap that 7th round pick with Kansas City for two later 7th round draft picks in that year. The Patriots went on to select long snapper Julian Ashby and CB Kobee Minor (2025 Mr. Irrelevant)

When it's all said and done, how do you think we faired from this trade?

Jerod Mayo regime: 3 (Drake Maye, Ben Brown, Dell Pettus)

Not a guarantee he returns, since teams can come in and poach (he's not subject to waivers), but it sounds like there is a plan here.
