Weekly Disassembly Room Thread

Hello and welcome to the weekly Disassembly room thread! The Blantent Toxicity rule is very lenient in here. This thread is a place for trash talking and complaining.

Here are the only rules of this thread:

1) Fans of all teams are welcome!

2) Trash talk != direct personal insults. Please keep that in mind

3) Still no rooting for injuries

4) No politics

5) Upvote good trash talk

6) don’t downvote just because someone roots for another team

7) Trash talk to your hearts content!

He’s had to spend a good chunk of his first year in a cranial helmet, but absolutely nothing slows this kid down. Always smiling, always exploring, and apparently now ready to drive himself to the Wells Fargo Center.

Couldn’t resist sharing this picture. 🧡🖤

Go Flyers!

I made my ideal look for each NHL team and here’s my take on the Flyers

My Flyers unis take heavy inspiration from the 1982-2007 jerseys, with some minor modifications. The previous shade of orange returns to the color palette. I cleaned up the Liberty Bell logo that’s expected to be on the Hometown Remix jerseys and used it as a shoulder logo. The blackout jersey removes any white or piping from the design, essentially being more in line with how the current jerseys look. I brought back the jerseys of the short lived Philadelphia Quakers as a Heritage jersey, but with the Quakers’ Phila script instead of the Quakers script on the original jerseys. And I made a new number font that incorporates the wings from the logo

Flyers of the past #9: Simon Gagné

Simon Gagné played 11 seasons (1999–2010 and 2013), establishing himself as one of the fastest and most prolific wingers of the team's modern era by recording 264 goals and 535 points in 691 regular-season games. The Canadian forward left an indelible mark on the franchise by scoring an impressive 47 goals during the 2005–06 season, winning the team's MVP award in consecutive years, and, above all, by becoming the hero of the 2010 playoffs; he scored the decisive goal in Game 7 against Boston to cap a historic comeback from a 0–3 series deficit, a feat that places him among the organization's top 10 all-time goal scorers.

For a kid to be this size & move like that is scary. I was definitely someone that wasn't overly thrilled draft night, but he's already showing immense improvement in areas he's considered weak.

Could be an absolute unicorn if he continues to develop at this rate.

(Also not sure why they slowed the clip down that much but they did lol)

October Philly Trip

Hey everyone. Looking for advice from my local Philly friends.
I’m a long-time Flyers, Eagles, Phillies, and Sixers fan from British Columbia, and I’m finally making the trip down to watch sports and check out the city. I’ll be going from October 2nd–October 9th and going to all games in that stretch, including playoff baseball if and when we make it there….
Of course, I will have lots of downtime to check out the city, so I’m looking for any food recommendations, bars, tips, and any not-talked-about things I should do/places I should see besides the obvious tourist attractions I’ve researched already. Any input is greatly appreciated!

Nathan Quinn is a C at 5’11, 176 lbs. We took him 6th rd in ‘25. He’s known for his defensive game but in the Q he was 17th in points (6th among 18 year olds) and 10th in goals (2nd youngest in top 10). Pretty huge year for the underdog kid.
