Opinion / Thoughts Jada Li (Jet Li's youngest daughter) - Nepo baby with zero expertise spreading shallow mental health advice

I have serious concerns about Jada Li's regular appearances on her father's channel. Here's why:

### 1. **Questionable family support**
Jet Li has been battling Graves' disease with significantly worsened QOL. As a family member supposedly supporting his care, Jada's actual contribution to his disease control and QOL improvement is doubtful. She appears to be used more as a **PR tool for her father's image rehabilitation** than as genuine support.

### 2. **Shallow mental health commentary**
Jada speaks about suicidal ideation and mental health while holding a **psychology degree from Barnard College (Columbia-affiliated)**, but:
- She only shares **personal anecdotes** ("medication stabilized me," "Buddhism and meditation helped me face fear")
- She admitted she **self-studied psychology before formal education**
- No professional counseling techniques are demonstrated
- **No verified credentials** (licensed clinical psychologist?)

### 3. **Unclear professional track record**
- Claims to have **founded a psychology counseling office in NYC (2026)**, but **no concrete results, client numbers, or revenue disclosed**
- Actual activities: accompanying her father's "free lectures," helping with his podcast 'So Be It,' Buddhist retreats with her stepmother
- **More focused on her father's PR and Buddhism than professional mental health work**

### 4. **Nepotism**
Jada's media presence is **primarily based on being Jet Li's daughter**, not on independent expertise or achievements:
- Barnard graduate (not Columbia main campus)
- Psychology major, but self-study came first
- No verified credentials
- Shallow mental health commentary (personal anecdotes generalized)
- No professional techniques demonstrated

This is a **textbook case of nepotism**.

### 5. **Family "favoritism" controversy**
- Jet Li claims to treat all 4 daughters fairly, but **netizens continue to criticize "favoritism"**
- Jada herself **jokingly demanded "fair treatment"** when Jet Li gifted his eldest daughter (from first marriage) a **$42,874 car** in January 2026
- **Family conflict exposed publicly** while preaching "mental health awareness" — ironic at best

### 6. **Conclusion**
Jada Li holds a media position **based solely on family ties**, yet discusses sensitive topics like mental health without:
- Verified credentials
- Concrete professional track record
- Demonstrated expertise beyond personal anecdotes
- Meaningful contribution to her father's Graves' disease support

She should **seriously reconsider her media presence** given the impact her statements may have on her father and viewers.

***

**TL;DR:** Jet Li's youngest daughter Jada is a nepo baby with a psychology degree from Barnard (Columbia-affiliated), no verified credentials, shallow mental health commentary based on personal anecdotes, and questionable contribution to her father's Graves' disease care. She should reconsider her media presence.

Venting Mental disorders are uncommon

I know it sounds stupid lol, like of course they are. But I used to think it wasn't because of how common it became to say that you're "mentally ill" or that you have some form of disorder. When I was younger I felt happy knowing that I wasn't the only one who was going through these issues, but the older I got the clearer it became to me that almost all of them were posers.

No you don't have an anxiety disorder, you just feel nervous from time to time, we all do. No you don't suffer from a depressive disorder, you just feel sad from time to time, we all do... Do you understand what having a disorder or an illness means? Or you do understand, but don't care and just like the attention? Fucking sucks because I've embarrassed myself so many times in the past by opening up to these posers, only for them to become uncomfortable and belittle me.

Content Warning: Violence I get actual violent thoughts because I've never kissed a woman

No towards the women, but towards myself. The fact that I'm not desired by women makes me feel genuinely worthless, why do only males ever want to be around me? In any way. Attracted, or just friends. I fucking know why.

It's because I'm pathetic. Males love a pathetic little bitch they can suck up to, with low self esteem, wimpy appearance, sensitive character. Males do not admire, all they want to do is feel superior to someone in some way, mainly regarding their masculinity. They want the most submissive effeminate little shits, because they love to look down on someone, control them and feel better about themselves. The male sexuality and social function is all about domination, anything else is a aberration. And I'm similar to a male in that manner. I do not relate to women on average within their sexual thoughts or where they want to stand socially.

Moving onto women though...they actually want to be around someone they admire, rather than using another person as a prop to feed their own ego. I don't think many women have egos at all...they don't care to feel superior to somebody. Instead, they pick the people they ADMIRE and REVERE. They don't care to be around someone they find to be pathetic scum, why would they? They have so many options. They choose people who are actually valuable in this world. People who are powerful, intelligent, interesting...I feel like, if a woman likes you, you are valuable at least in some way, while a man liking you genuinely doesn't mean shit. It used to stroke my ego in a minor way when I was around 12 or 13, but I soon realised that a simple hand holding from a woman means more than a man obsessing over you.

And that's why I feel devastated. Any male attention feels like an insult at this point, a confirmation that I am a worthless, submissive, effeminate subhuman. Meanwhile, I overanalyze every single interaction I've ever had with women, and I unintentionally hinge my value as a human being on them. I know it's not fair. But the fact that women don't like me genuinely makes me want to dismember myself.

I think of self mutilation in ways I didn't think was possible. I hate myself more than I ever hated or will hate anyone. I will probably die with a woman never kissing me. Or admiring me. Or finding me to be worthy of her affection. I just wish I could make a woman happy. Make her feel good. But I am so deeply worthless, defiled, disgusting, mentally ill and weak. Just why do I exist?

Opinion / Thoughts It's not about "SHOES"

My shoes are old, worn out, and they smell bad enough to make people keep their distance. No one wants to come close. No one wants to put their feet where mine have been. They look at my shoes and think the solution is simple: “Just get a new pair. Your life will be better.” But they don't understand. I never wanted a new pair of shoes. I just wanted someone who would sit beside me without covering their nose, someone who would be willing to clean the dirt with me, someone patient enough to ask how those shoes became this way in the first place. Someone who wouldn't judge what they saw on the outside before trying to understand what was buried inside. But no one wants that kind of responsibility. It's easier to suggest a replacement than to stay and understand the damage. So here I am, still wearing the same old shoes. Running. Running from people. Running from questions. Running from the fear that someone might come close enough to notice what I've been hiding all along. Maybe that's why I keep my distance. Not because I don't want anyone near me, but because I'm tired of people looking at my broken shoes and telling me to become someone new instead of asking me what happened to the person wearing them.

So please…If you're only going to judge the smell, criticize the dirt, and suggest that I replace them, save my peace by staying away from my shoes.

Need Support Feeling depressed because I am ugly

So I was always thinking that I looked okay but yesterday I saw some recent photos from me and I just looked so ugly. Since then this thought has been in my mind constantly. I hate looking in the mirror because to me I look okay but on photos I look so ugly. I am scared that everyone thinks I am ugly and I don't know what to do. I have always struggled with my apperance but it has never been this bad. I just feel so sad. One of my dreams have always been to become an actress or model but no one is going to hire if I look this bad. I want to get plastic surgery but I can't afford it. Why is everyone born beautiful and I just look bad? It's not fair and I hate it.

Venting Steam forums are toxic and dangerous

Upvotes

I love gaming. I would also love to share gaming with others. But the steam forums are just a toxic pool of human waste and bot rage. I tried to keep up to date with a few games I'm interested in, but I got mired in endless repetitions of the same hatred and selfishness, mysogynie, trans hate, homophobia, you name it. Zero moderation, zero restraint.

But I just clicked on several random discussion forums to let those that I was following disappear from the overview, because I'm vaguely certain that a game about dressmaking has less toxic followers than the newest RPG release. Now I will do my best to stay away from the toxic forums, and make up my mind about the games I want to play without the input of people who make me want to wash my brain.

Thank you for reading. I feel better now.

Venting I hate how sexual i am

I’ve been with my bf for almost 6 years. We have our super good highs and VERY VERY bad lows (which is a whole different story) but we always seem to make up and love each other again. I know he’s my forever, and from what he tells me and expresses about us, he feels the same way.

My problem is our sex life. Every time we cuddle, kiss, hug, almost any type of physical touch, i instantly get turned on. I’d honestly be down to have sex once a day, maybe more honestly. We had a talk, maybe about a year ago, about this and he said he loves me so much he just can’t keep up with me like that. He says his tip is super sensitive and i know he’s telling the truth when he says that.

But when i get turned down, i feel so down about myself. I don’t take it out on him, i just start getting these ugly thoughts in my mind. Like what if i look bad to him, or smell bad, or what if he prefers to watch porn (which I’ve expressed i don’t want him doing and apparently he doesn’t, but who truly knows), just random stuff like that.

What also makes it confusing is how he talks to his friends. He says sexual stuff but never does that to me. I know it’s just boy talk but he never talks to me like that. And he’s never seem to be shy either, but maybe deep down he is?

It all just comes down to being super sexual i guess. I can’t get off to porn, I’m not interested in anyone else but him…. I just don’t know how to suppress it.

I guess this was more of a vent than anything, but i just needed to get it out to random people. I don’t want people we know personally to know this kind of stuff…. :c

Venting I'm 25f and a virgin. It makes me insecure.

The way I was brought up with curfews and restrictions, I started getting drier and not needing sex as much as I did when I was younger. I have a bf for years now but like he never pushes me to do it either. Now we live miles apart

Since we lived with our parents we've had to calculate the excuses we needed to make to leave and we weren't used to it. besides good and safe ones were expensive. Even dates are rare. So we don't chase it as much.

I've only ever wanted to do it because of peer pressure once in high school but it never happened because of circumstances

I still don't feel the drive or the need to seek that feeling just the insecurity that I haven't done it yet. There are times I've wanted to cry because I feel like I am left behind. I feel this way as I type this because of a conversation I've had with people that have lost their v card.

Because personally I don't care about sex, i pleasure myself most of the time. What I do hugely care about is what everyone thinks is the norm and I'm not normal, according to society.

Question Is calling out a mental illness hate?

If someone you know is suffering from mental illness and you call it out rather than just offering positive reinforcement, is that hateful? I would think identifying mental illness with people you care about and working to help them become aware in order to help them because you care about them would be considered the best way to prove you care about them. I mean I don’t go around telling anorexic people “you’re fat”, why would I give positive affirmations to other mental illnesses…

Need Support I’m being fucking haunted

I can’t take it anymore

I am literally in a different country visiting family rn and the Idaho 4 case is haunting me. Like I feel such anxiety and sadness just looking at their faces

It sounds like I’m making it about myself and I swear I’m not but as someone who recently graduated in May 2026 it’s like this frightening feeling being so close in age with them, you know? If that makes sense?

And it’s like some details are just terrifying like what do you mean Kaylee saw him watching her from the treeline one night like what? Like I genuinely can feel my heart rate skyrocketing right now as my brain is trying to picture that horrifying image.

It’s just the more I go down the TikTok rabbit hole of the evidence and case the more sad I am and the more nauseous I feel

And idk if this makes sense but I miss them like I knew them when I would have never met them because I didn’t even go to college in Idaho, in a state very far from the place actually

God idk why I feel so emotional and paranoid over this case

And i just feel so stupid right now because I didn’t even go to school in Idaho. I don’t show my face too much on social media except for my private insta account and like one tiny face reveal I did on my TikTok. But I just have been feeling so paranoid even though I know that awful man will remain in jail…

Opinion / Thoughts Is masturbating really healthy or not?

Hello everyone. I have a problem with masturbating. I used to be addicted to porn, but I stopped over 2 years ago. Since, I feel like I’ve become a much more confident and strong person in many areas of my life. However, I am newly single. I haven’t had sex since this relationship ended. I am constantly in awe of all the beautiful women I see, and I’m always dreaming about intimacy. So I masturbated, to my imagination, not to porn. (I have no desire to ever watch porn btw.) But I am worried, because I feel like I have this negative attitude towards masturbating because of all the negativity porn brought upon my younger life. I’m worried if I start masturbating, I’ll do it all the time, and that I should just focus on real life. The urges just got to be too much, and I had to do it, but I instantly felt guilt. People say that masturbating is healthy, and I do agree, but I just feel like it isn’t good for my mental health because it stresses me out like this. But then I also think that suppressing my semen for too long could be negative as well. I don’t really know what to do, I guess I’m just not gonna masturbate again, but I just got out a relationship where there was a lot of sex, and now I have no way of getting this energy out, besides masturbation. (Which I don’t know if I should do or “save” this energy.) Will masturbating make me more level headed in life? Or the opposite? What do you think?
