i got my vertical labret 5 days ago i believe the jewelry is labret and idk what metal and it hasn’t been downsized obviously, i was using saline wound wash and ran out so had to use the salt they gave me and boiled water to clean it, the only thing thats happened is that my lip is completely chapped over, is it infected or what im freaking out and wanna just take it out

I went into my usual piercing shop today to get some stitches removed from my ear (I'd recently had some keloids removed at the shop two weeks prior). While I was there I figured I might as well get an unrelated piercing since I have to be vigilant caring for my ears, what's one more piercing to add to the routine? I asked for an inner eyebrow pair and the receptionist said that the piercer would have to do an anatomy check first.

The piercer came out, a man I'd never seen there before, and looked at my eyebrows and said my anatomy would not support the piercing I wanted because my brows are "flat". He did not ask to touch me or look closer, but said he would attempt the piercing regardless if I wanted, but that he thought it would be likely to reject. I declined and just got my stitches removed and left.

I'm tempted to come back when the normal piercer is there and have him take a look, because I feel the new guy didn't really listen to what I wanted, or even really look that closely at my anatomy. I'll include pics of my brows and the piercing I wanted. I feel like the piercing I want is possible, but I'm not a piercer, so there could be other factors I just don't know about? I wonder if the picture of the piercing I want is fake, but I've seen other pictures of similar piercings. Am I crazy?

I’ve recently started getting to the point where I’m having to seriously think about real estate when it comes to piercings, so I’m wondering if anyone has any opinions on what could be changed here?

I pierced my nose on 7th August. And I asked when can I change the nose pin to ring, the piercer said I could do it in 2 days.

Initially it was fine but 2 weeks in and there redness around the hole, and a lil bump. (Attached photos)

Hello, I'm a bit new to piercings—the first piercing I had was the one in the lower earlobe when I was a baby. Just earlier, I got my earlobes pierced twice so I now have three piercings on my right ear, earlobe, but I kind of hate the design of earrings that was pierced but i had no choice cuz it was the only silver color i like and i'm planning to soon take it off and replace it.

Now, how long could it possibly take until I can take it off and replace it with new ones? I know healing processes may vary, but can I take it off if it doesn't hurt anymore? Maybe if it doesn't hurt after a week, I can take it off? Or would it still be better to wait a whole month to heal fully? Thank you to whoever answers!

It's about 1 year and 4 months old. I feel like it's probably rejecting

I've had this piercing for around 4 years now, and it has not healed once, despite cleaning it every day. Before you ask, yes it's a good kind of metal and I'm not allergic. I also have other piercings as well, that are completely healed and fine. A few months ago I switched from a stud to a ring, then recently I started to gently press a compress dipped in chamomile tea directly against the piercing (a tip from my piercer), but neither has helped.

So, I've simply given up at this point, and I'm just wondering, based on the pictures below or above, if it’s safe to just take the piercing out? Because I heard that in some cases you shouldn’t take it out because you can trap an infection or something. So, anyone who's a piercing pro who can give me the green light?

Hey there everyone! Just starting to get a little concerned with this bump around my piercing I got back at the beginning of August. My piercing is almost 2 months old, I be had 2 minor snags that did result in a little bleeding. But nothing very recent, I believe it’s a labret, it’s titanium jewelry and I clean twice a day with Neil med saline spray after soap and shower, no down sizing yet

which placement should i go with? what kind do you have? Do certain kinds of placements look better than others on some face shapes?

Also, have you ever regretted getting a nostril piercing?

I got it yesterday. The piercer said she would place it "a bit further back" so the tip of my nose wouldn't droop, but I think she put it too far back.

Ignore my wet hair, but this eyebrow is so rejecting ive had it for 9 months, should I try and save it or just take it out. Jewlery has been downsized twice so its on its last limbs i think or is there any sort of hope?

I’ve got three piercings and these two are the most recent, I’m very sad about them because they got infected and it loos so bad on my face but I don’t want to take it if since i spend a lot of money on them and I really love them.. there’s any way or chance to get them back to normally and healthy? My first piercing (septum) didn’t infect at all, it healed at time but in those times I was 14 I guess, I need some advice please.💓

I got it pierced 3 weeks ago with a reputable piercer. It’s a titanium barbell, I believe it’s externally threaded. I washed it with neilmed aftercare mist twice a day for two weeks, and I still wash it once a day.
I’m not sure if it’s rejecting since the skin around the top looks shiny and I can feel the bar through the skin, or if it’s just healing, so I’d appreciate everyone’s thoughts :)

P.S. it’s just the top hole that looks shiny, the bottom one just looked red (couldn’t photograph it well though).

I’ve recently seen people talking about how surface piercings tend to do better when they’ve got thicker jewelry in them, and my face is mainly surface piercings lol

Hi everyone i'm new here, My eyebrow piercing is about 3 months old and its super infected. Not sure how it happened, i made sure to clean it with saline twice a day since i got it. I cant afford to go to a doctor right now so im wondering if anyone has any tips to get rid of the infection. 😢

I just got my nose pierced yesterday and after looking at it for a while i’m worried that it is too hight up. I plan on wearing a hoop once it is healed but I like the snug look more and don’t want a huge gap between the jewlery and my nostril.

After measuring the distances it was around 1.2cm from hole to edge of my nose which I feel like is much to big for a standard 8pm or 10mm hoop. If it is too high I was planning on taking it out pretty soon then getting it repierced. If anyone has any advice please let me know!
