One of the best games I played. It could have been longer, but I think if it came out today, it would be a total banger. The scenes, the atmosphere. Cool steampunk London and well written characters. I really miss games like this one.

I bought some headphones a while ago (still under warranty), and there is an issue with it. I want to send it in for repair as advised by customer service. They said that if it was intentional damage I will have to cover it, otherewise the warrantee will cover it.

My question is, is sending it there via parcel and sending it back also covered from warrantee? If I send it to them and they say it is intentional damage, am I able to get the product back without paying (as in decling to pay to get it fixed)

I recently bought the WF-1000XM6 and immediately noticed something was wrong with the isolation.

Even with ANC on, I can clearly hear normal conversation around me. At work, where I’m surrounded by loud industrial noise, the difference is even more obvious. If I physically push the earbuds deeper into my ears with my fingers, the isolation suddenly becomes excellent. The moment I let go, they move back slightly, the seal disappears, and all the outside noise comes back.

So I contacted Sony support. They were helpful and sent me a replacement set of ear tips made from a different material. Unfortunately, what arrived were basically thin standard silicone/rubber tips, similar to what you get with much cheaper earbuds. They didn’t solve the problem.

After that, I dug out the box from my old XM5 and compared the tips side by side. That’s when the difference became obvious.

1. WF-1000XM5 original tip
2. WF-1000XM6 original tip
3. Replacement tip Sony sent me

One important clarification: the XM5 tip shown in the photo is actually one size smaller than the largest size I used with those earbuds. I had already thrown away the old largest XM5 tips, so I no longer had one available for a direct photo comparison.

In actual use, I used the largest available size with both the XM5 and XM6. The smaller XM5 tip in the photo is only there to demonstrate the difference and reason why the new one worse in noise isolation.

I’m trying to regain access to my PlayStation/PSN account, but I’m stuck at the 2-Step Verification (2SV) stage.
The phone number linked to my 2SV was a Dubai number that I used when I was living in Dubai. I’m no longer in Dubai, and that number has since been disconnected, so I can’t receive the verification code.
Has anyone been through a similar situation? Is there any way to get in touch with an actual PlayStation Support representative who can help remove/update the old 2SV number and recover the account?
Any advice on the best way to contact PlayStation Support or recover the account would be greatly appreciated.

I have spoken to Playstation support India but they just can’t help in this case.

Since Spider-Man 3 is all but confirmed, it had me thinking about how future games could unfold. I would love to see a Spiderverse game done in Insominac's style, but I don't know if they would want to go down that route. I know a lot of causal mcu fans got tired of it, but at the same time the first two Spiderverse movies did phenomenal and we know there is a third one on the way so there is clearly an appetite for it. Just curious on everyone's thoughts because I would be thrilled to see a future installment like that.

I love singing to music but after every update the Speak the chat is activated again. I am very sick so I seldom feel good, but when I do I want to sing to music.

Every time this happens the music stops.

Every single time.

Because since the last time I was happy an update was installed for the app I don't need. I only need it to disable Speak to Chat.....

I know about the workaround with the account but it doesn't work for me.

With every update Sony thinks that I should not be allowed to sing along to music. Every time I am happy I have to search the ever changing UI of the app that regularly changes its name. Everything about this is shit.

I bought headphones, not parents, I am grown up!

Don't get me wrong I can't live without noise cancelling and the WH-1000 is awesome but the app ruins everything.

hi there! ive had the sony rx100vi for many years now with no issues. for the few months its just been hanging by a lanyard from a hook, virtually untouched. however, i went to go power it on today and it’s not working at all!! i tried recharging the battery, and nothing, no lights or anything. does anyone have any idea what the issue might be? thanks!

Hello! I recently found my DCR-SR100 and despite my continued efforts, I have yet to find any online guide on how to remove the HDD, and any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't even know how to remove the panel.

In late 2024 around Christmas I bought two pairs of SONY WH-1000XM4’s one for my girlfriend, one for myself.

Last week my girlfriend’s pair had a problem, first the battery was at 10 percent and then decided to power off. Secondly, they won’t charge anymore, at least the charge light doesn’t turn on, and neither do they.

I tried resetting, I tried everything, I even contacted Sony support and was not given any reason or answers.

Yesterday, the same thing happened to my headphones, instead they were at 40% when they randomly died. These headphones were treated with care, and they were great. But this is a really disappointing case.

I’m sure it’s no coincidence, I’d love an answer though why my 300 dollar pair of headphones only lasted a year and a half.

I have this old cassette deck (model TC-W535) from my grandmother and it was part of a larger system and I am trying to see if I can somehow power it on its own and have it work by itself as the other pieces of the system being the amp broke.

From my limited testing the system control 1 has three wires coming from it one of which I know is the ground I tested with a multimeter, the other two are a red wire ( assuming +) and blue-white wire (assuming -)
Asked ChatGPT to look into it and it was a mixed bag I have pics of that convo too although I’m not sure it would be helpful.
Should I still peruse this or is it a lost cause or does anyone have any theory’s or things I should try?!

I use a cable TV with a Can module.

Right now I need to restart TV if I want to watch some coded channel.

And when I change this channel I got pixel show.

When the pixel show start I need to remove the card so I can watch noncoded channels normally without artefacts.

What can i do with this problem ?

Hey y'all ! I have a Sony zv-1f and recently it's been having the issue that even when there is no memory card inserted, it throws up an error code for "unable to read memory card, please reinsert". Has anyone else had this issue ? Any advice would be appreciated !

So I tried to launch Overwatch on my ps4. It says can't launch game. So I tried a few times and got the same thing. Then I tried to launch roblox just to see if it was overwatch but roblox said the same thing. So I try to check both for updates and it doesnt show... So we go to notifications and it says overwatch had an update that didnt finish because it was in a queue...but all my other games also had updates..?? Which ALSO didnt go through completely for reasons im not sure of. It didnt look like they were paused or anything.

So I decide to try to restart my ps4. I turn it back on and now im getting error code CE-41807-0. Apparently that means launching or update issues or corruption, so i delete the updates via the notifications tab and try again, but now im getting error code CE-32930-7 which means corruption from the drive storage. so i delete overwatch and try to reinstall.

But when i go to the store, it only shows the 'start' button. when i press it, it says "cannot find the game file, search the playstation store?" essentially saying that i cant launch the game cuz i deleted it, but I guess the store still thinks i have it? I did notice that the update finished after I had already deleted the game, so maybe it was scanning that- but like I said I deleted that already.

This time I went directly into my storage and deleted anything with the overwatch name i could find from system and extended storage, and even rebuilt my database from safe mode. But overwatch STILL showed in my library and purchased menu with a progress bar as if its still updating. Sometimes it would show the download button, but when i press it it just shows the start button again.

THEN I went to the PlayStation website on my phone, and tried downloading it from there, which didn't work, but the start/download button isn't glitching anymore. So i can press download and it says download but it just doesn't download. It says

"cannot add the following content to [Downloads].

Overwatch

It is already installed on this PS4. (CE-38605-2)" There are absolutely no file names(that i can see/access) related to overwatch atp but it still shows in my library and the app store still doesnt show me the download button. at this point, i can update, launch, and play any other game except overwatch. im confused on what to do...

Im a very visual person, and im having trouble picturing the difference going from a6400 to a7v. A7v has more pixels but 6400 is a crop sensor.

Is there a tool or just an example to let me understand: if i am the same distance from an object at 600mm, how large/how many pixels will it take up on either camera?

I have had for the last 2 or 3 years 4 pairs of WF-1000XM5's. Each one that I have replace ultimately was because one of the earbuds would be stuck in ANC mode instead of pass through.

Usually it's because of a brief sharp noise like a truck reverse beeper or forklift that kicks in the ANC but then after a while never goes back to pass through.

Sony support couldn't help me in the past beyond sending me a new pair and otherwise I have been using Best Buy's protection plan to avoid paying full price for replacement pairs.

Now that the new model is out and my current pair is showing signs of ANC stuck on and sometimes no longer taking calls I want to see about updating.

That said I'm wondering if anyone has experience with the ANC getting stuck on with this latest generation of earbuds.
