Almost no one I know still plays the Wii U. It'll be 15 years old next year. I have played it for twelve years.

As you may know a friend and i made a server with the goal to revive Wii U games. Well today i announce that BO2 is in the work ! We are actively fixing all the issues before releasing it to the public :)

I recently moved to a new place and I don’t have space to bring all of my consoles. I’m 100% a physical games guy so virtual console/subscriptions aren’t my cup of tea but this also means I have to downsize my physical consoles. All this to say, are there any games you can ONLY play on the Wii U that justify having it? I have my Wii for backwards compatibility with GameCube so Wii U’s BC doesn’t really matter and I feel like any Wii U game that was truly worth it has been ported to 3DS or Switch. Not all of these ports are perfect of course but if I’m really itching to play Woolly World I can survive with the 3DS port. The only one I can really think of is Paper Mario Color Splash but other than that I got nothing. What do you folks think??

my console is working *mostly* fine I think but my problem is that my gamepad is broken limiting a lot of what I would be able to do if not, where can I find a replacement for relatively cheap? ideally I’m looking for something under 100$ but if I really have to spend a bit more I’m not agaisnt it

also side note I’ve considered repairing my gamepad myself but I have next to no idea what’s wrong with it atp, all I know is that it won’t charge or turn on and I’ve tried replacing the battery with a new one but no luck there

I tried loading donkey Kong tropical freeze into a recently purchased Wii U and it wouldn’t let me connect to internet no matter how close I was to the router so I ignored it till now where I can’t bypass this screen at all to load the game anyone know how to fix?

Hello, I just replaced my disc drive in my wii u after years of it being broken. I made sure to replace the logic board on the new one with the original disc drive, and it seems to boot without any error. Except upon inserting a disc, the wii u does not read it. It doesn’t spin either, it just sits in the drive until you eject it. I made sure all the ribbon cables are plugged in so I’m not sure what the issue could be.

I have a Wii U gamepad that works almost completely brand new, except the A button doesn’t respond. Not sticking, straight up no response.

I’m sure there’s a way I could do this myself but I have never messed with consoles so it makes me nervous. So I’m hoping to find a local shop that can do repairs.

Does anyone know a vague ballpark price I should be looking to pay? Thank you for any advice! 💕

I have a 32Gb wii u that I modded with an SD card a while ago. I went to update a game and it said I needed more storage so I freed it up in data management but still said a bunch of it is being taken up despite not showing. Please help Ive tried like 20 things lol

I wanted to play Wii U i bootted up and opened vwii and then usb loader gx my games are on sd card I wanted to play just dance 2020 so I opened it everything was fine I played 4 dances then I looked on the song list and 2 seconds of one song started looping then music stopped and if I aim the wii remote at a song the music wont play then everything frezzed and the buzz sound was coming out of my console I wanted to turn of the console but it didnt work even the button on the console was not working so I unplugged the ac cord and plugged it back in the console booted up normally and just dance was also working it was the first Time that happened

What do you think was the issue should I be worried?

So today I went to the biggest retro game convention in the Netherlands. Honestly, I was hoping to get some stuff for my C64c Ultimate I have on pre order. But alas, almost nothing for that system and 90% was Nintendo, Playstation and Xbox mixed with a bit of Sega, so it was some sort of a let down.

I managed to get some Wii U games, though.

Found this at an antique store of all places and it was NIB. Can't wait to mod this
