Transmog Really, Blizz? A blood troll transmog set and the feet don’t work on *actual trolls*
They’re supposed to be blood soaked and red.

Or do you think we will get something like Wrath Remix? Either one sounds fun but I feel like shadowlands could benefit from it as it can be rather slow for farming

Terrifying route my tank just shared in discord that he wants to try on our 16.

I just used a bonus roll on King's rest and received Mchimba's Ritual Bandages. At 318 ilvl, the absorb is less than some 220 ilvl trinkets. This is just one example of many trinkets that are unusable. What is the point of this, Is it pure oversight? Is it purposefully undertuned to make other trinkets feel more special?
For tanks specifically, the situation right now is that you pray you get a dps trinket rather than a tank-specific trinket from dungeons because they are so terrible. Is blizzard ok with this design?

Frustrated returning player here — I hadn’t played since 2011.
After hitting level 90, I was completely overwhelmed. Too many currencies, too many systems, and no idea what I was supposed to be doing. I carried on anyway.
Today, one day before the vault, I decided to try my first Mythic dungeon.
Google told me I couldn’t use Group Finder, so I joined a premade group. I explained that it was my first Mythic and that I’d need some guidance. Again, Group Finder is very easy in that regard. But I had no idea of this whole process which was very old-school to start a mythic dungeon (not saying it is a bad thing, just that I had zero clue)
The leader started using jargon I didn’t understand and whispered, “go to sg.” I had no clue what that meant and asked what he meant by that.
I got kicked.
Honestly, I started wondering if I should just stop playing.
But I tried again. This time, I made my own group and explained to everyone that I was new. One player kindly walked me through everything, and we started Mythic Murder Row.
We made it to the final boss and wiped five times.
I was sure someone was going to leave, but nobody did. We kept trying, communicated, strategized, and on the sixth attempt, we got it.
Everyone celebrated and congratulated each other.
I genuinely can’t remember the last time a game made me feel that way. Five strangers working together, failing repeatedly, and finally overcoming the challenge.
That one experience made everything worth it.
Thank you to those four kind souls. You reminded me why I love wow.

With Midnight introducing Lindormi’s Guidance and later expanding the system with Lindormi’s Glow, I think Blizzard has already laid the groundwork for something that could be an incredible Mythic+ QoL feature.
Let tanks create their own routes using the same system.
Instead of only having Blizzard’s predefined route highlighted, give the tank a route-planning tool before starting the key.
The tank could:
-Open the route planner.
-Select the packs they want to pull throughout the dungeon.
-Save/confirm the route.
-Have their selected mobs glow for the entire party so that Everyone can then follow the exact route the tank has planned.
So rather than:
“What pack are we pulling next?”
or
“When do you want Bloodlust?”
or
having the tank constantly look at a route on a second monitor/ alt tab, the dungeon itself tells everyone.
This would be especially useful for tanks,
One of the biggest barriers to getting into tanking Mythic+ is route knowledge. You aren’t just learning your class — you’re expected to know the dungeon layout, percentage requirements, skips, which packs can be combined, and exactly where to go next.
With a customizable Lindormi system, a tank could prepare their route before the key and simply follow it in-game.
It also makes communication much easier.
The tank’s route becomes visible using the glow effect to the entire group, so everyone knows:
“These are the packs we’re doing.”
You could even allow routes to be saved, shared, imported, or made specifically for different affixes/keys.
Blizzard could leave that entirely up to the players. The tank still has to decide what to pull, where to go, what skips to use, and how to optimize the dungeon.
The game would simply provide the visual tool to communicate that decision to the party.
We already have Lindormi’s Guidance/Glow showing that the game can identify and highlight the mobs required for Enemy Forces. So Why not take it one step further and let the tank decide which mobs glow?
It would eliminate the need to memorize routes and the need for a second screen just to follow a route — while keeping the actual strategy and decision-making completely in the hands of the players.
Give tanks the ability to say: “This is my route. Follow the glowing mobs.”

Or at least let it be off by default. I don't know whose idea it was that a screen that it supposed to showcase an item should start with an animation that makes it so you can't see that item.
I always turn off the "Combat Animation" checkbox, but then when I move on to the next item it's turned back on by default. Oddly the "Hide Armor" checkbox maintains your selection, so maybe it's just a bug, but frustrating nonetheless.

With how the new Catalyst works, suddenly there is an optimal piece of gear to convert for your stats. If you don't get that exact piece or other BiS in vault, the most optimal is to get the reroll and gamble in heroic/mythic raid. A mythic chest or even mythic tier set chest isn't season BiS, since there's now a conversion that's better or your conversion doesn't have your stats. It just feels bad.

For me, it was Paladin.
I always loved the class fantasy, the armor, the whole holy warrior vibe, so I really wanted it to become my main. But after playing it for a while, the gameplay just felt too slow and a little too passive for me.
I kept telling myself it would eventually click, but it never really did.
What class was that for you?

As a mount collector, I'm barely breaking even on tender each month at this point. "Huge discounts" they said, which has turned out to be on everything but the two things I particularly want - the Bloodhunter set and Harlequin's set. They're 90% of my tenders. I can earn 500 more, but that's not enough to pick up Eve's Rider, let alone any of the little bits and bobs from the actually discounted traders.
Going to be ignoring this month's actual trading post. Half of it just seems to be recolours of tabards, sweaters, boots, flower crowns, and other crap. I remember when they started this whole thing, they said they wanted to use it to add items that weren't able to be put in-game because they didn't fit, and now it just seems to be padded to hell every damn month.
And Blizzard, if you're listening, I specifically said earn, not buy.
EDIT: To everyone going "you're not meant to buy everything" yeah, I know that's how it works. What I'm saying is, if they give us access to the backlog, we should get more ways to earn tender - like they've done in the past - so we can actually buy stuff.
EDIT 2: To everyone coming in going "i'M a mOuNt cOlLectOr aNd i hAvE 300k tEnDer", well done for never missing a month, never unsubbing, never buying anything else that catches your eye. Your abject lack of empathy and understanding for others is truly a fascinating representation of the WoW community. Who cares if other people don't have things they want? You've got yours, right?

Assuming zero changes from S1 to how crystals are obtained and how gear is priced.
If you've been incredibly unlucky with gear (I may or may not have a few Veteran pieces still) it's a good way to work around it. Just get to Rank 9 before you start opening Bountiful Chests next week!

i love playing prot pally because i get to have sparkles and also gather mobs and hit them thats what i like. while also being more survivable
but why do i have to have ever dungeon memorized and also which mobs to pull and direct everyone to do stuff
i stopped doing that bc it felt like a job so i just pull what i think is best but people wanna conplain and stuff
i like being tank but you all are adults too if you have a preference for how the dungeon should go then volunteer it
and if this is all player made problems and not blizzards doing then what is the solution
just let me have fun and stop trying to make me clock in

Hello!
So i logged my character (after 4-5 expansions? of not playing) and when I mounted i received the removal of all of them.
Why is that, I earned all of them fair and square?

It's been years and the shit doesn't remember that I want to hide combat animations. There's like 300 pieces to look through this month and they all have to go through a long ass animation before I can see what I'm looking at.

I get the feeling that many new players don’t really learn how important interrupts are until they start playing M+. While leveling, you can usually ignore most of the enemies’ spells without anything really happening so there’s no reason to even think about using an interrupt. Then you get to harder dungeons, and suddenly you’re expected to know which spells are dangerous, when to use your interrupt, and what other abilities your class can use to stop enemies from casting.
I think it would make sense if some mobs in quests had abilities that actually penalize you for not interrupting them. Nothing extreme like taking a oneshot, but enough that you realize pretty quickly: “Okay, I probably shouldn’t let that spell go through”That way, interrupting would become something players learn naturally right from the start, rather than discovering it only when they start playing M+
Would you welcome Blizzard making interrupts more important while leveling, or do you think that would just make the game more annoying for new players?
