Anyone else have a 70year old father who isnāt maturing?
I saw him get roofied a couple years ago heās constantly drinking while driving I found coke in his sock drawer he always has to have the latest iPhone he knows all the lyrics to Fergieās Duchess album he drives a red convertible hot rod car with a vanity license plate and he doesnāt have a plan for retirement his parents are in their late 90s and he doesnāt take care of them they are living in an apartment complex that is meant for young adults they are the only two people living in the building over the age of 45 and whenever I visit the neighbors look at me with judgment that Iām allowing this and that Iām associated with them

How do you guys live?
I go to work then fall asleep. I donāt even have energy to make it to the bed usually I just sleep on the floor. I donāt brush my teeth beforehand either I just donāt have the energy. Then I wake up workout shower and all that and go to work rinse repeat. On weekends Iām tired from getting up early so I donāt do anything then I go back to work.
I donāt know how Iām expected to live like this for another 40 years itās already been 5 and I feel dead inside. I can already see people saying come back in 15 years youāll be used to it that sounds horrible I feel sorry for you guys. If thatās the future what is even the point? And the little āhappyā moments in between isnāt enough to make this enjoyable

At what point do you admit handling an estate yourself is costing more than getting help?
Iām a few months into handling my dadās estate and starting to wonder if doing it all myself is actually saving me anything I work full time and the estate is in another state. Iāve already had to take time off twice just to deal with the house, and every trip seems to lead to something else that needs handling after I get back.
I started out thinking paying for help would be a waste when I could technically do most of this myself. Now Iām looking at the time Iāve lost from work and how much of my week this keeps eating up. DIY route isn't worth it anymore I think so who could I hire to help with this?

Has anyone personally experienced people starting to dislike you once you became successful in life?
When I got into a good position and started seeing some success, grinding all by myself, I noticed that people around me started getting annoyed for no reason. They behave differently now and sometimes make fun of me. I can tell theyāre not the same anymore.
