I don’t post much but this video is shocking (nothing new) not because of the incident specifically, but for the fact that it happened in December and it’s no where to be seen besides this specific YouTubers channel. Keep your head on a swivel yall. So many questions….

https://people.com/teen-fatally-beaten-on-soccer-field-after-team-scored-goal-opponents-angry-family-says-12062489

An Arizona family is mourning their teen son who died during a soccer match earlier this month.

Tumusifu Bazirake, 19, died in the hospital on Aug. 6, days after he was brutally beaten by multiple people on a soccer field, according to a statement from the Phoenix Police Department.

On Aug. 6, fire department officials responding to a report of an unresponsive individual learned Bazirake was “involved in a soccer game when a fight broke out,” per the statement. Several people are accused of assaulting Bazirake before fleeing the scene, but no suspects have been identified as of Tuesday, Aug. 18.

Bazirake’s brother told local outlet WKYC that Bazirake died protecting him during escalating tension stemming from a goal their team scored.

“We scored on them, and they got mad,” said Jeanpaul, identified only by his first name in the outlet.

Players on the opposing team allegedly began punching him and Bazirake intervened to protect him, Jeanpaul said.

At one point, Jeanpaul said, when he tried to turn around, he saw his brother on the ground. “They were just stepping on him while he’s on the ground,” he said, per the outlet. “Stepping, kicking, punching—all that.”

Responding officers found Bazirake at the scene and transferred him to a hospital in “extremely critical condition,” according to Phoenix police; they said they were notified on Thursday that he had succumbed to his injuries.

Bazirake was killed just a week before he was about to start college, according to his family, who has since set up a GoFundMe to help with funeral expenses.

Jeanpaul told WKYC that his brother aspired to become a firefighter.

Politics 10 months into fiscal year 2026. The US has accepted refugees from only two countries: 10,255 people from South Africa and three from Afghanistan | The vast majority of refugees approved for admission by the Trump Administration are now white South Africans

Post image

99.97% of refugees admitted to the US in 2026 are South African.

Refugees from South Africa make up almost all the refugees to the U.S. so far in fiscal 2026. Before this fiscal year, South Africans never appeared among the top origin groups. In fact, fiscal 2025 was the first year that the U.S. admitted more than just one or two South African refugees.

The large increase in South African refugees reflects an executive order Trump signed in 2025 that said the federal government would prioritize resettling Afrikaners – an ethnic group descended from mainly Dutch, German and French colonial settlers in South Africa. The executive order said the group faced “government-sponsored race-based discrimination” in South Africa, including the government seizure of farms owned by White South Africans. Those claims have been disputed.

The influx of refugees from South Africa marks a major change in the makeup of refugees to the U.S.
