The steepest price cuts hit the dense apartments and rows the anti-sprawl crowd demanded.

"Remember how you said building more would lower prices? Bet you feel pretty silly now that prices are falling. 😏"

Hi! Have you tried seeing a Naturopath in Calgary? Do you have gut issues as well?

Feds are only covering 10% of that bailout. Rest if from other things.

I really hope there’s a way to get a tunnel built. It’d be nice if we didn’t half-ass a major infrastructure project like this. The elevated option has pretty obvious issues, and previous generations half-assed approach to existing surface level C-Trains unnecessarily contributes to downtown traffic congestion.

When you're in the kitchen and the fridge light comes on as you open the door, just as a family member spots you.

Love seeing the addition of the 503! Hopefully they'll reduce the padding in the schedule in the December service update, making the end-to-end journey way more appealing than just using the 82 and Red Line.

And Lethbridge, Medicine Hat, Regina, and Winnipeg all have. It's a little embarrassing to say the least. Tap to pay with credit card as you board buses should be a given (with automatic fare capping), but CT might need to buy new readers for that.

Yeah, condos and detached are different worlds, I don't know why they ball them up together in 1 metric.

People want detached and/or semi-detached.
People do not want condos.

https://albertareferendum2026.ca/#whatAreTheQuestions my friend sent me this site so you have a better idea of what's going on. Definitely going out to vote but read ahead for clarification. I still need to review it myself.

Yes. Embarrassment is a correct word. But after we succeed those independent degenerates will be embarrassed

It's a small group of people who just can't function in society that cause nearly all the problems. We should be removing them from society so that a lenient justice system can exist to give second chances to those who deserve them.

People make mistakes and act without thinking, we shouldn't be condemning everyone.

But those that abuse our compassion they need to go in the box. Otherwise at some point we as a society deserve what we get, since we are just enabling them.

I walk past that library to and from work every day and have never had any incidents. Are there transient folks who you don't want to interact with? Yes. Do they bother you if you don't bother them? No. Stop exaggerating

My local vet was super compassionate with both of my dogs (a few years apart). One was a known, scheduled appointment and the other was an emergency.

Dammit who's cutting onions?

I think they might mean asking for more restrictive bail, for example asking for more bail money or denying bail for repeat offenders. But I don't really know.

Edit: sorry, I thought you were replying to the post above.

Paladin is a good way to move up. Many peace officers at the hospitals started as Paladin workers.

They offer training once hired too so nothing comes out of pocket. I worked a few years with them at a variety of hospitals and it was good experience for security type work. Usually you start on a “constant” just sitting watching someone who needs 24/7 supervision, but if you’re a decent worker it doesn’t take long to move up to patrols and other duties.

just say you don’t understand the system yourself and move on. bail isn’t the issue at bar or even with the justice system itself, it’s a lack of mandatory minimums and substituting punishment for “restorative” justice
