Hi all, didn’t know what flair to use for this post so put it in fandom hoping it was correct. A backstory to the title - I was born into a huge packers in the family in the uk and have been watching games since I was able to walk over here. However, towards the start of last year, I moved to a new school and wasn’t able to keep up with much of the team so I’m a bit behind where we are currently. I’m hoping that some of the more up to date fans on the sub will do me a massive favour and provide some updates as to where the team is right now e.g. player and coach updates, season expectations, all those sorts. To show the levels of awareness I’m currently at, I’ve looked at the 53-man squad and drawn these conclusions: our wr core looks solid as long as they stay healthy, our safety room is very impressive, we need a running back if Jacobs is going to be out until November time, and we’re going to miss Micah for the first 4. Thanks to anyone who can help me in anyway so I can fall back in love with the team.

Does anyone know why the pro shop is only offering Reed jerseys in the limited version and not the game version like they are for the other players?

Saw him on a podcast saying he should be out of the league. First I’ve heard anybody seeing it besides law-enforcement.

Does anyone know what time tomorrow the Rivalry gear will be on sale?

Also the website currently only shows a handful of jerseys available (Love, Parsons, Reed, Watson, Golden, McKinney, Williams, Cooper, and Kraft) - anyone know if they'll do more or just those names for the rivalry jerseys?

Is the Packers Pro Shop the only way to get a Matthew Golden away jersey? I’m totally fine giving them my money, but I have a gift card to NFL Shop or Fanatics I was hoping to use.

NFL Shop and Fanatics seem to only sell Love and Parsons away jerseys. However as a Texas fan I really want Golden.

Are they just out of stock or is this a normal thing?

I take full responsibility for everything. Everytime I buy Packers merchandise something bad happens within the year. I got a Favre jersey, he goes to the vikings. I got a Jordy jersey right before he went to the Raiders. Rodgers went crazy shortly after buying his jersey. Jones to the Vikings the year after getting his. Cobb to the Cowboys. This past year was what sealed the deal...I got a Jacobs shirt jersey and was between getting a Kraft or Parsons jersey but couldn't make up my mind... I promise, I won't buy anything this year.

Hey, I’m wondering if this is just me.

But seeing that we sent 2 1sts for Micah, to then watch the season fall apart after a heartbreaking Denver game really killed me. To then lose in heartbreaking fashion to our rivals a month later twisted the knife. Now after a long off-season our star RB went off the deep end. Not even mentioning my glorious king Tuck.

Long story short, this has been a cursed 12 months, maybe it’s the monkey paw for us getting Micah, but we really went all in to win within a window. And it feels like we are burning a year of that window this year with the roster problems.

As always I am excited for the season, but I feel like I am recovering from a gut punch rather than some new season optimism. Go Pack Go.

I want to Tucker Kraft to get extended. I really do.

Last seasons games and especially in the Detroit and Steelers game showed me how much he is needed on this team.

However, I am starting to believe that we might not sign him the more this takes. There are two reasons why.

I believe length of contract/stats and most importantly the acquisition of Jonnu smith.

I believe that the packers could do a packers-esque move and extend Jonnu for a couple more years of solid (not great production) and cheap labor. He also is quite familiar with the Lafleur offense.

As much as I don’t want this I think this could be a total pathway that could happen than extending Tucker.

Nobody from the Packers has ever had a conversation with the Cardinals for Josh Sweat per Brian Gutekunst. Gute: “Somebody’s making stuff up.”

GM Brian Gutekunst said he's been looking at options at running back as an insurance policy knowing exempt list was a possibility for Josh Jacobs.

Gutekunst said the staff had done a lot of work on RB Kaleb Johnson and that he fit the zone run scheme that the Packers often use.

The Packers have not seen the video of Josh, they are hopeful he'll be able to play this year per Gutey.

Gutekunst said he's going to let the process play out. Said the team has not seen the video of the Jacobs incident and said they are letting the legal process play out for now.

Brian Gutekunst expects Josh Jacobs to play for the Packers this season. Asked if there’s a scenario in which the Packers release Jacobs, Gutekunst says he wants to let the process play out.

Gutekunst said that he hadn't had any talks with the Dolphins about Kyle McCord until after the final preseason game. Said they contemplated keeping three QBs and when he got trade calls he knew he couldn't pass him through waivers.

Kedon Slovis will be the p/s QB per Gutey.

Packers are signing Arizona's Kedon Slovis to the practice squad.

Gutekunst on UDFA rookie WR J. Michael Sturdivant making the 53: “He’s one of those guys that made plays every day.”

There was never a discussion about having McCord be the backup quarterback. It was always Tyrod Taylor per Gutey.

Warren Brinson has a good chance to be ready for Week 1 per Gutey.

Gutekunst said they’d really like to extend Tucker Kraft before the season. They’re working toward it, he says.

Both Collin Oliver & Savion Williams should be ready to go once the mandated 4 weeks of being on IR are over per Gutey. High ankle for Savion, and a non-serious achilles injury for Collin.

Gutekunst says Savion Williams has a high-ankle sprain and should be ready after the first four games. Collin Oliver injured his Achilles but should be ready before the first four games. Both guys starting on IR.

Brian Gutekunst on when Micah Parsons will be ready to play: "We have a pretty good idea once we get out of that 4-game window we're going to be pretty close."

Gutey expects Musgrave to be able to play again this season but says it's an unknown thing.
