Hi, im thinking of studying perfroming arts in ireland and i found out ATU offers a course. Do any of you have any experience with it? Also are there any entry auditions like in other drama schools? Because I cant find any information on that. Just that you have to meet general entry requirements. I also am not from or currently living in ireland.

I applied for au730, the common entry science in atu Sligo to then move to biomedical science in year 2, just wondering who else is going

I just moved to Sligo a week ago, and was wondering where I could listen to live music (preferably rock or metal) in town. I don’t drink alcohol, but don’t mind going to bars as long as I’m not obligated to consume alcohol.

Also if some wanna be friends (I’m F23), I’d be down ! I’m studying at the ATU this year, so if you’re a student it’d be even better.

I've tried The Cat and The Moon, Made: Sligo Craft Collective, and The Canopy Market. Quirke's seems to be closed most of the time. I've seen one or two things that might work, but I'm looking for other options. Looking for an ornament, music themed if possible, but it doesn't have to be. If not Sligo, happy to go further a field.

I'm going into my first year at ATU Sligo and I'm kinda lost when it comes to accomodation. Is it too late now? I believe Sligo is the best move for me atm, I was originally planning to go to Belfast but probably won't be able to this year due to complications with citizenship. I'd love to know where my best shot at finding half-decent accomodation for 7 days a week. If worst comes to worst it's not the end of the world, but I'm honestly really excited for this course now. It's completely my fault for not expecting something like this to happen but I'm still optimistic, so uh any help would be appreciated. Please let me know if I'm being unrealistic, ig that's also appreciated lol
