I came out to my parents at 15, but they weren’t the most accepting, so I was forced to stay in the closet. I’ve been boymoding it for 4.5 years, with only a few close friends knowing. Now 20, I just got an apartment with my best friend and am now free to begin my transition. They can’t keep me from being myself anymore!! I’m so excited for everyone else to get to see me the way I’ve always seen myself 🥰🥰🥰

Been making masssssiiiveee improvements to my hair routine and while im still fighting with frizz im feeling a lotttt better about myself and i love how pretty i feel when i do my hair

Most of these photos are "boymode" with a binder bc im still scared to socially transition, although ive been trying to force myself to be a little more comfortable with the uncomfortable as far as going out without makeup and such. Oooo recently i just had a very anxious trip to get laser done esp since i couldnt have anything at all on my face, but i managed to get there and back and the world didn't end lol. But yes i started my first session and while im gonna be stuck in dysphoria jail for a bit as i cant shave for a few days... Im still very excited as this is a huuuuge huge step for me

Anyways yaaa just wanted to post an update for archival purposes... I love being able to look back and see how far Ive come, im definitely feeling a lot happier with myself than I have in the pasttt :3

I was involved in a fender bender yesterday, no one was hurt but the cops were called. I was stressing about the other driver, a middle aged blue collar guy in a big pickup truck, then I noticed him telling the cops that “her truck looks fine except a bent bumper”. It took me a second…. Because I live in rural indiana and my guard is always up. He didn’t see a trans person. He saw a woman with her kids. The cops looked at me. Looked at my ID and didn’t correct him, which was also a surprise. What I took from this is people aren’t always just being nice ( like I assume ). I’m sure this applies to lots of us. You’re probably doing better than you think. I consider myself a pretty clocky trans gal, I should give myself more credit and realize some people actually see me as I want them to ✌🏼
