Questions/Advice Give me support and not a headache
I just talked with my daughter about cleaning my house. It's extremely cluttered. I have a husband, 2 sons, and a daughter. I have ADHD and depression.
I come from a large family where we always help each other whenever needed. We'll have a project weekend to clean out someone's garage, gather clothes and drop them off to goodwill, do dishes clean whatever is needed to help. We're fast. Done.
I live 3 hours away from my sibling. Two came to help me move once and 2 came to deep clutter clean. I won't ask again. I'm too embarrassed.
My family on the other hand doesn't help. I guess I trained them that way.
I have cleaned dog crap, cat crap, mouse infestation crap, scrubbed and painted for my daughter. She's bi-polar and an alcoholic. She's been California sober for 8 years.
I've cleaned up condoms stuck to the floor in my son's bedroom along with tons of junk. I've cleaned and packed for my other son.
They all live on their own.
I ask my daughter for help and she says it's too depressing. We keep her dog will she dog sits, which is a lot. One son will come over once in a great will to do things for an hour. The other is an ER Dr. With 2 kids and no time at all. My husband will do the dishes, walk the dog, and wash some laundry once in a while.
I really want them to help me. I have to get over that and do it myself.
I need to hire someone or a company to help me.
I have scheduled a dumpster before but my family didn't show up.
I'm venting.
I have to figure this out.
Thank for any advice.
