SpaceX gets to purchase 440 acres from land owner as long as Brownsville de-annexes so they lose jurisdiction and can’t collect taxes on it which wouldn’t have even been that much for the richest man in the world. SpaceX forced them to vote on a Saturday without seeing the full contract with $220M dangled in front of them for water infrastructure, which in the end benefits the new “cyberport”/LNG/SpaceX anyways

We are human beings, not numbers… How long will the killing of civilians in Gaza continue?
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Today, the Gaza Strip witnessed another security incident after an Israeli special forces unit infiltrated Gaza City to arrest a Hamas security official. Regardless of the targeted individual's identity or political or organizational affiliation, a larger and more crucial question must be asked: What about the civilians?
Every time there is a military operation, clash, or bombardment, civilians pay the price. Children, women, and young people, who have no connection to what is happening, find themselves caught in the crossfire, amidst shelling, fear, and death.
We are not just talking about numbers… We are talking about mothers who have lost their sons, children who have lost their parents, and families forced once again to confront loss, displacement, and fear.
How long will this continue?
How long will we continue to die every day?
How long will we be displaced from one place to another?
How long will we bury our loved ones, then try to start over, only to have our tents and homes destroyed, forcing us to flee again?
We are human beings. We have names, memories, dreams, and families we love. We are not just numbers in news reports, and our lives are not worthless.
Three years of war, destruction, and displacement have trapped us in an endless cycle: we lose, we flee, we rebuild what we can, and then the bombing comes to destroy everything again.
How long will this go on? When will civilian lives in Gaza have value? When will this killing stop? And when will we finally be allowed to live like the rest of humanity?

Original Content A small but beautiful moment from Mahmoud’s family ❤️

Today I want to share a really nice little moment from my friend Mahmoud and his wife.
Their four daughters were so happy today. Honestly, they had two reasons to be happy. 🥹❤️
The first was simply the joy of having something fun to do and seeing their dad bring home five new little chicks. 🐥🐥🐥🐥🐥
And the second, and much bigger reason, is that these five chicks are the beginning of something new for Mahmoud and his family.
Before the war, Mahmoud and his father had a large chicken farm in northern Gaza. They had around 2,000 chicks, and that farm was how they supported their families. Mahmoud’s family and his father’s family depended on it for their income.
The farm was completely destroyed, along with everything they had invested in it. They lost the work and the capital that had supported both families.
Today, thanks to the people who have supported Mahmoud, he was able to buy these five chicks and start again, little by little. ❤️
Five chicks may not sound like much, but for Mahmoud, they mean a lot. They are a small beginning and a little bit of hope that maybe one day he can rebuild what was lost and have a way to support his family again.
If you have already supported Mahmoud, thank you from my heart. And if you are able to help, please consider supporting him as he tries to grow this little project into something that can actually provide an income for his family again.
Sometimes a new beginning really does start with something this small. 🐥❤️
If anyone would like to contact Mahmoud directly, has any questions, wants to verify Mahmoud and his family, or would like to support them in other ways, you can reach him directly on WhatsApp:
