I was searching for games and it popped up.

How this game is, is it worth it

Everytime a SOP is announced people run wild with what they think will show up then get disappointed. I’m seeing people say RE: Veronica will show up and I’m even seeing people say Intergalactic will be the closer. The blog post literally says Final Fantasy will be the closer, so why are people thinking Intergalactic? I don’t think we’ll see Veronica or Intergalactic until TGA. everyone is just setting themselves up to be disappointed and they’re going to say the SOP sucked because they had insane expectations.

When I started playing it , I got goosebumps. Cut Scenes were epic . For the first time I didn’t stream bcs I was just totally into the game.

How epic this will be as the game moves further ?!!

I think this may come across as bragging, but I'm honestly high af on adrenaline right now and just want to share what I think is a crazy story.

I decided a few months ago to get a Switch 2 and a PS5 Pro. I wanted the Ps5 Pro for Interstellar, GTA 6, GoW, Gran Turismo. I wanted the Switch to play with friends.

I bought the Switch because I thought that I could wait for the PS5P- even though I did anticipate the price going up as got closer to GTA drop. NOT THIS MUCH.

I've had the Switch for months and have not gotten a single friend to play with me.

So today, I decided it might be a good time to get the PS5P, only to see.... sold out everywhere. ~$1500 online. Holy shit. So I spend the next few hours looking throughout my entire state. Finally, I find 2 PS5P in stock at a Target, a few hours away from me. Unfortunately, they will not let me purchase online, and I don't get off work for several hours.

I call them to find out if I can pay over the phone, and they say no. They confirm 2 in stock, but they say that they had someone call right before who was going to pick up one of them, would be there in the next 10 minutes.

So now I'm dealing with the last PS5P IN MY STATE. And I won't be able to get there for like... 7 hours.

But I did have family/friends living near that area. So I start spamming everyone I know without a 30 minute radius. Finally, an hour later, the girl I'm dating has a lunch break. I had just sent a text saying I had a favor to ask. She responds and asks what it was, and I ask her to call me. I asked her how far she was from that specific Target, and she says it's 15 minutes and she's on her 45 minute lunch break and agrees to go.

She gets there, and as she's walking up she asks "Should I look for it, or just ask the employees?" I tell her to waste no time looking, ask the employees. (I'm on the phone with her throughout).

She does so, then says the employee is going to go check for it in the back, and she's waiting now. While she's waiting, a guy comes up and stands next to her. Employee 2 comes up and asks them if they've been assisted yet. The guy steps in front of her and says "I'm here for the Pro right here" indicating at the display. Employee 2 says that those are the regular PS5's. At this point, Employee 1 walks back with PS5 Pro and says "yeah, this is the pro... but it's for her." and hands it to my gf.

$900 and what is in all likelihood the last one in the state... a minute before it would've been gonzo.

I'm going to make her play The Last of Us.

Ok so i really like fighting games, recently ive been playing tekken 7 and mk 11 on ps4.

However, while ive done most of the offline trophies, ive realized ill never be able to platinum the games because i dont have playstation plus, which is a real bummer for me.

Now i know most people dont care about platinums or Just have ps+ but i think its unfair for those who dont.

Also i dont know if someone already made this claim or if its already been discussed, thats why i put the question mark

Inspired by another post, I decided to see how large my Playstation library is. However because most of my games are physical, I decided to document it manually (using estimates for PS1-PS3 based on receipts I've kept in the box and general prices for games of that era).

What games do you always use to compare new stuff to. Rather it be the visual world, overall graphics, action gameplay, whatever.

Of course they change over time because the games change and get better. Mine for the longest time was Skyrim. When it first came out, it was mind blowing as far as how much detail was put into building the world, how detailed everything was, story, kinda everything.

Then I fell in love with Red Dead Redemption 2. For the last 8 years I've compared everything to it. It's not the perfect game, but for me it's a solid 10/10.

Of course now, games are getting bigger and better. Will GTA6 set my new benchmark? Those trailers and netflix special look pretty damn amazing. Will the story hold up? Or what can be interacted with inside that world?

Tell me what your benchmark games have been and why. What makes them so special ?

Hi all, thought I'd ask and find out if a refurbished one holds up long term, or shall I wait and save up for a bit longer, to get a normal/regular ps5?

What steps would I need to take, to make sure I don't just piss money away, if the refurbished one dies on me, say within 1 year?

Plugged my controller after gaming from an apple usbc to usbc cord and came back a few hours later to my controller not turning on and essentially looks bricked. The power block is 47W that I charged it from. I have tried countless times resetting the controller thru the hole in the back and have not seen success yet, am I missing something or am I cooked? TIA

Edit: I used a macbook usbc cord, but I'm not sure if that would've done it. Regardless, the controller is still bricked.

For the past week I've been trying to reach out to support but always get the response that they're experiencing a high number of requests. I've tried at different hours of the day with the same response.

After getting the ps5 I completed some co-operative games. Then i started playing the which i always wanted to UNCHARTED 4. After that i completed GTA V.

Then i played the most talked about game THE LAST OF US 1. At first i found out very gross and scary and left it for some days. The next time I started playing i completed it in 2 days. I loved the game.

But after completing the game I am in such a position where I want to try many games but I am not able to give more than 2 hours to a game and changing constantly.

From last 10 days i haven't even turned on my ps5.

Is there something wrong with me?

Me and 5 of my mates were playing bo2 on ps5 doing a few games of SnD, about 10 games in one of my buddies starts getting spam called, then another friend and another until all 6 of us are being repeatedly spam called from different numbers and locations

Has this happened to anyone else? And does anyone know if this is dangerous/malicious?

I got it at launch for around £650 at Argos. I wasn’t initially impressed but PSSR 2 has blown it out of the water!
Games and developers that squeeze out near fidelity graphics with 60fps and ray tracing deserve all the praise.

So im trying to debate on getting the wolverine disc drive cover for my wolverine ps5 slim digital system but i might go with the blue so it matches the 80s xmen look of wolverine does it look good with the blue or yellow?
