I played Diablo 4 during Season 1 and came back for this current season, running Barbarian in both. I have a lot of hours in Diablo 2, Diablo 3, Grim Dawn, Torchlight, Path of Exile, Hero Siege other ARPGs, and also WoW. I played all classes and diferent builds.
I'm looking to play with something new next season.
I have a few questions about the classes:
Barbarian: It feels pretty much like the Barbarian from Diablo 2/3/Immortal, just with fancy graphics.
Spiritborn: I assume it has a completely new playstyle that mixes Monk and Witch Doctor, is that right?
Warlock: Is it like the WoW Warlock, with AoE spells, DoTs, and demon summons? Is it just the class adapted for an ARPG? Or does it bring anything genuinely different?
Paladin: Is it the same as the Diablo 2 Paladin with the same builds just with fancy graphics? Or does it bring anything new in Diablo 4?
Necromancer and Sorcerer: I assume they're the same as Paladin, same builds with fancier graphics. Or am I wrong?
Druid: How does it play? Are there any major gameplay changes compared to the Diablo 2 Druid (or even WoW)? It is diferent? New builds?
Rogue: is basically like a bow Demon Hunter / Bowazon, right?
One last thing, it is there any build similar to the Carnevil WD, Marauder DH, or Trapsin from Diablo 2? Basically a pet/turret build that shoots and spams projectiles from range with sumons/pets?

Is it wishful thinking that Diablo 3 will come to steam during blizzcon?

I’m a huge playing cards fan, and one of my favorite creators just announced a collab with Diablo! 🃏🔥
What characters would you want to see? For me, the Cow King has to be the Joker. 🐄👑

As title says, me and my gf need help taking down Mephisto on T10 to unlock the last Season Rank Tab.
We're dealing sufficient damage, been getting into Phase 2 but there's where it stops due to some mechanics we're getting one-shotted at, asking in Trade and Local Chat wasn't successful at all, which is why i'm expanding my request for help here.
Is there any kind soul that would help out?
(tried asking in D4 Reddit but Moderator removed the post/didn't approve it)
Adding my BattleNet Tag here: ixInsanity#2484 (just let me know if you've sent me a friend request here)
Mephisto is down, thanks to a kind soul here ❤️ Here again, thanks a lot!

Shout out to all my peeps, who love this PS2 game. So I just revisited this one, and I noticed something I never noticed before. In the monastery level you battle dark spirits. Upon closer inspection, it looks like they're wearing the mask of the accused. I can only assume the developers used it as an easter egg?

As per the title, I’ve been playing these games since the very first one came out since I’m an old Gen X fart. Only today that I finished the new expansion in Diablo four as they don’t game as much as they used to and it suddenly dawned on me oh yeah this shit’s just like Hellraiser and then I started thinking back and I kind of was like oh shit, it always was. I don’t know. It’s the atmosphere or the style or what but am I alone here? You figured I would’ve gotten this in Diablo too when the cube came out and I think it might’ve had a fleeting thought about it then but now I just feel kind of dumb.

Diablo ii CONSUMED my as a youngin Where I had to delete my account in 2008 (multiple lvl 99s, tons of op shit) as it was the only way to stop playing.
recently bought a switch 2 (first console since the PS3) and gave heard good thing about D2R.
I don’t remember much about the game but a burning desire for that nostalgia hit is growing. I won’t be playing online this time - I think just single player.
Should I bother with Reign of Warlock or just do the cheaper D2R bundle that doesn’t include it?
Will it be weird not playing with a keyboard and mouse?

I had this game for years but never got around to buckling down and finishing it. I tried to beat it with the wizard before don’t know what happened. I guess I just got a little bored then I tried it again like a year afterward with the Crusader and I got bored with that up to the beginning of act three, so stop that now here like two or three years later, I finally beat the campaign to the game. I tried it on normal on act one after that, though I switched to extreme because it was way too easy and honestly, this even on extreme was pretty easy. Only died about four times doing this and like two of those cause I just completely was not paying attention to my health, but for the most since I had got pretty lucky with some of the drops that I got it gave me some pretty overpowered equipment that allowed me to get really huge damage buffs to a lot of my stuff and my armor, life, etc. was pretty good so. Died once against maltheaus went back and switch my equipment around and enchantments and I won. Had a good time. I’ll definitely try out some
Adventure mode, see how that changes things up. Probably switch to Barbarian or assassin.
The campaign story did bug me at times given they announce the whole Nephalem thing early on but don’t make it prevalent until act 4! I really enjoyed Scoundrel as a character though and Haedrig, but most of the others were just EH! Tyrael was cool though.

After watching a playthrough of D1, I'm now playing D2R on console and went in mostly blind.
Anyway, got to the Andariel boss at the end of Act 1 last night and ended up dying during the fight, I completely underestimated Andariel after The Countess and The Smith and thought she would be much easier.
My question is how do you handle dying during boss fights? Are you sprinting back into the boss arena just to try and retrieve your inventory and gold and escape while you can? Or do you just keep going back in, retrieving your inventory over and over again and trying to finish the boss fight? Have you ever lost all best weapons/armor, and what to do if that happens?
Pretty much a brand new player, sorry for the noob question.
