American culture puts a HUGE emphasis on African history, the cultures slavery destroyed, the people displaced, and the generational aftermath (and rightfully so!!!).
Yet Americans barely acknowledge the Arab/Islamic-world slave trade that has devastated Africans for centuries - and is supposedly ongoing to this day.

If Americans care about what slavery did to African people, why omit this?

I'll go first.

I once saw a grown man absolutely lose his mind at a coffee shop because they put oat milk in his latte instead of almond milk. He wasn't allergic. He wasn't even lactose intolerant. He just "preferred the texture of almond" and started yelling about how the barista "ruined his morning." The barista offered to remake it for free in under two minutes, and the guy still stormed out, slammed the door, and left his latte behind. He paid six dollars for a drink he refused to drink because of a milk preference.

Another one: my neighbor once had a full meltdown because someone parked "too close" to his driveway—not blocking it, just closer than he liked. He stood outside taking photos, muttering to himself, and pacing around for a solid 20 minutes like he was building a legal case. The car moved two hours later and absolutely nothing happened.

So what's yours? What's the pettiest, most over-the-top reaction you've witnessed?
