I saw it mentioned here, the beta decky plugin for Nexus. Decided to use it to try and mod fallout 4 and it’s been a blast, worked so well. You need Nexus premium, but this is far easier than other attempts I’ve made to mod Bethesda games in the past, and opens up doors for a lot of other games too.
I’ve got what is a so far stable 108 mods list going - and used ChatGPT to identify a list that would meet my requirements and run well on the deck. Horaay boo for AI depending on where you stand. It looks fantastic, holding 60 outside of storms so far - I’m sure Boston will bog it down a bit, but haven’t run any framegen on it yet - so have that in back pocket if needed later.
Anyway, just wanted to share in case anyone else like me enjoys enhancing these games but hasn’t found a good way to do it on the deck - check it out, may be useful for you too.

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
The position of the cursor being off has been pretty solvable, but it won’t stop flickering. I’ve tried huion drivers and opentabletdriver.

I’ve had my Steam Deck for a few months at this point, and this morning the L1 button started making a weird noise, and it doesn’t work unless I press really hard on it. How do I fix this?

I got this glitch on steam deck where the last game you played would have it's name permanently be there even if you selected another game. Just started seeing this today. Any fix? I haven't done anything recently other than installing pob from flathub

Hey y’all. I have had Decky for the past few years. Has had its quirks here and there, but all in all I enjoy having it. A little bit ago while trying to load into MGS4 my deck froze so I had t hit it with a hard reset. Turn it back on and my Decky plugin was just gone.
I have gone through and updated to a recent release, and it still doesn’t show anything. I uninstalled to then reinstall, and nothing. I have even fully wiped it only to reinstall and still not there.
Any solutions to what I can do???

question about steam deck value
I have a gaming pc with a
rtx 2070
ryzen 5 5500
1tb nvme
16gb ddr4
and was wondering if thats a reasonable trade for a steam deck oled! or if thats unreasoable and no one would wanna do that! basicly if i should even attempt to post on marketplace or if its a terrible idea
Edit: i already have a pretty beefy pc and this is just an extra laying around, im just seeing if other steam deck users would even consider trading their handheld for a full pc or if the majority will want to just stick with their handheld!

Sorry if I’m late to the party on this and apologies if you have maybe seen this thread a gazillion times. I wanted a quick discussion on what people think about loaded.com these days.
I remember CDKeys years ago as being a ‘dodgy’ website where 95% of codes worked and the other 5% were not legit. I avoided loaded.com as I feared it was the same after their rebrand however I was quite surprised to learn that they are trying to move away from that image. This stood out for me from the website:
Is Loaded legit and safe to use?
Officially sourced products: We get our keys directly from authorised distributors and publishers.
I’ve even seen that Crystal Palace FC have them as a sponsor?! That for me added a bit of confidence in using them as I thought them to be a grey market seller.
Anyway, I’m off to shop for some games on this wonderful PC ecosystem. Please share if anyone has had issues with codes on loaded.com (I know CDKeys had its fair share) especially with PSN/Nintendo ones.
Cheers

I guess valve just doesn't care anymore. How in the world is this verified? Its literally running at sub 10 fps at points.

Hey all - my sons steamdeck was stolen out of his car (yep he left it in the car at campus parking garage…)
Can valve track them at all?

After the latest update the advanced graphic settings on Mortal Shell 2 are inaccessible even with the SteamDeck=0 command applied, nor with the LSFG option active. Has anyone any way to solve this or should we just wait for a further patch? The game looks way worse, can't even choose an upscaler ffs.

Now that Valve is sunsetting components for the lcd deck and ifixit doesn't have any battery options, what are some good alternatives?

Trouble getting Cheat Engine to work on Steam Deck? Watch this video:
New & Updated Guide for Cheat Engine on Steam Deck 2026 - YouTube
If you have any questions or concerns, please let me know.
DOWNLOAD LINKS:
Brigandine The Legend of Runersia - Cheat Engine .ct files
ProtonUp-Qt - Download through Discover on Steam Deck
Cheat Engine Windows Installer

If a cheat table doesn't work, then it's outdated. It needs to be updated like game trainers.

Should I play breath of the wild + dlc on my switch or should I play it with an emulator?
Does it run better on the steam deck?
Thanks for any input

No, Im not talking about this because I have Blue Balls. I have an Unused Steam deck LED Model and I'm not quite sure what to do with it. I have Roughly 3 years of linux knowledge and access to multiple 3d printers.
Any suggestions?

Hey everyone, I "vibe-coded" this plugin because I get annoyed when trying to move the cursor using the on-screen keyboard keys.

Hi, so I’ve had my steam deck since November 2022 and recently have had serious issues with the power port and power button on my device. I am aware that Steam does offer repair and replacement to an extent. I was curious to as when this is discontinued?

My sister recently shared her library with me which is nice and all, but she has thousands of games. Literally thousands. And it has become overwhelming and incredibly annoying to find the games I personally own that are obviously more of a backlog priority to me. Is there a way to filter it so I can see my own personal library without splitting off from the share?

Does anyone else regret skipping the OLED when it was easy to get/cheaper?
Now that it looks like it’s a really long wait to the SD2, the LCD will have to do for a few more years.
I was completely fine with it until I got a Retroid Pocket 5 and realised how much nicer an OLED looks, but can’t justify a new device with basically the same power.

Does anyone here have any personal experience with Dawn Walker on the steamdeck? I don't mind some graphical dips if it means better performance

Hello,
I recently installed Steam OS on my Gaming PC, but when I went to format a new m.2 as a secondary games drive, I have no idea how to get it formatted to download my games onto it. I tried creating a new partition through KDE Partition manager and have been unsuccessful. Please help me
