That’s one of my favorite crochet works.

They were 3.99 each so I guess it’s not a major loss. But still. I’m deeply annoyed !!! The yarn feels soft instead of coarse. I picked out two differently coloured packages on purpose but I guess that doesn’t matter.
Bought at the Action in the Netherlands. -_-

It really does look a bit like a candy corn. Which will be perfect for the upcoming spooky season. This one is a bit messy with it being my first one and it being a more vibes based plan at first. But I hope it's pair will go a bit smoother.
Yarn is big twist ombre, I think. With the color being either sunset orange or orange twist.

The last 3 to 6 months, not even sure how long, I find myself not wanting to crochet, things have been so crazy that I just can't pick up any wip, new project anything. Have you ever gone through periods of time where you don't crochet?

I can definitely spot some bald spots and uneven stitches but I'm pretty happy with how it's all coming together. I was very unsure about this in the beginning because when i started chaining and began my first hdc it looked very loose and unpromising but the more rounds I finished, the more i started liking it. This is definitely a trust the process kind of project for me. I can't wait to finish it!

He came out a little uneven but it’s my first project ever 😀

So it only took me like 2 years but I completed my first crochet project. It’s nothing crazy, it’s a dish cloth. It’s a bit wonky but I’m still proud of it.

If I asked you to name an iconic crochet pattern, what's the first one that jumps out at you?
I'm thinking of specific patterns you've seen everywhere and immediately recognize when someone makes them, especially amigurumi or patterns that have gone viral in the crochet community at some point.
Mushroom Guy is one that immediately comes to mind for me, but I'm curious what everyone else thinks of!

In progress bandana, my question is does it look like mouldy ham? 😂 on one hand I like the colours, on the other hand I feel like it looks like cheap ham that’s been forgotten in the back of the fridge for waayyy too long
Not the best pics but there’s one with and without flash

I'm OBSESSED. This was definitely a challenge since I'm still new to following patterns. I'm so happy with how it came out. I'll be crocheting more Devil Fruits for sure! I'll post the pattern in the comments.

In Finnish we have a saying: "what you leave behind, you'll find in front of you" and this is definitely one of those situations 🤣
Maybe I'll do this next year 👀
(The pattern is Granny Go Round Jumper by Iron Lamb, just knitted the rib instead of crochet)
