Picture [Schultz] The Eagles are signing former Ravens CB Robert Longerbeam.
Said this team needed more outside CB depth, long even before camp, as the dropoff in talent from our starters is steep, obviously he’s only going to be on the practice squad for now, but I’ll gladly take a chance if he’s more serviceable than Ringo or Bennett.
Ravens sub seemed to like him so at least it’s a start.
Awards ESPN NFL TOP 100 ranking
Espn officially posted an espn top 100 player ranking with Q at 34 and this picture. 🤣 At least they ranked him high without knowing what he looks like.
Edit: someone from espn watching this sub. This was posted by espn like 6 hours ago and it just got updated to his actual picture after this 🤔

Player Discussion [Zach Baron] Can Anyone Decode Jalen Hurts, the NFL’s Most Cryptic Quarterback?
Very interesting read into the mind of QB1. I thought the conversations were cool to read and it does a good job trying to explain how Hurts thinks and brings up some relevant off-season topics.

Original Content Beware of fake Eagles Ticket Facebook group
If anyone is looking to buy tickets this season, please do not use this page. Stupidly agreed to an Apple Cash exchange after admin verified seller, got blocked by group and admins, group has 13k followers which in my mind and I’m sure in others gives it some legitimacy, but all the posts and moderators are frauds. I would not normally post peoples names but again none of these people are real, hopefully I can be their last victim, please do not use and please report the page if you see it.

Question Looking for fantasy league
Hey y'all, I got let go at work 2 days after our fantasy league draft, which I was the league manager of. I gave all of my fellow colleagues LM power and bounced, as it would hurt too much to stick around. If any of y'all have open slots in your fantasy leagues, or would like to start a new league together, please let me know. Only interested in a casual league without any prize money. I was really looking forward to another season of friendly competition and honestly could use a fun distraction these days.
After reading through the subreddit rules, I don't believe I'm breaking any, but apologies to the mods and community if I am. Obviously this isn't an eagles specific post.
That said, fuck Dallas and go Birds 💚🦅💚

Question Eagles Fans - Westchester, New York
With the season starting, I’m looking to see if there are any fellow Eagles fans in Westchester who would be interested in watching a game together.
I’m in the Chappaqua area and have an outdoor terrace which is great for watching while the weather permits. Also have Sunday Ticket and Redzone. My wife also happens to be a great cook, so I’m happy to host.
I’m also happy to go somewhere else or meet at a bar (I know Wogies in Katonah is an Eagles bar but I haven’t been impressed with the turnout in the past when I went a few times last year).
Really just trying to find some other folks in the area to watch some games with as it’s tough being in Jets/Giants territory.
Definitely comment or DM if this is of interest to you.
Go Birds! 🦅

DiBona is a great example of why you don’t get attached to "my guy" players from the draft. A world very much exists where Stowers could significantly develop long term this season in a TE room with Goedert, Ertz & Mundt. It’s not an either/or scenario.
A lot of people focusing on Ertz’s ACL injury are ignoring that he had 66 receptions for 654 yards and 7 TD’s in 17 games in 2024. And 50 receptions for 504 yards and 4 TD’s in 13 games in 2025 prior to his ACL injury. His production even at 34 and 35 absolutely dwarfs anything the likes of Mundt, Jenkins, Calcaterra, or Stowers have ever done at the NFL level.
Bigger picture, Stowers could learn a lot from being in the same room as Goedert, Ertz, and Mundt. Too many "my guy" Stowers folks (like DiBona) from the draft are getting bent out of shape about the criticism he’s receiving. There very much exists a world where Stowers is essentially a TE4 this season playing spot snaps while learning a ton long term that will benefit him.
Finally, I keep seeing people saying Ertz would be good in the case Goedert goes down (which has happened a lot). But I also think people need to realize Hurts will be asked to throw a lot more over the middle this season. A lot of the interceptions during preseason (including from Lemon on Friday night) were either from tipped balls off receivers hands or receivers rounding out routes. Which gave CB’s a play on the ball. Ertz is a master route runner with very good hands. I don’t care if he does his No YAC routine catching 7-9 yard receptions. He is someone you can trust to move the chains. Which Hurts seriously needs if he’s being asked to throw more over the middle.
