Superstar Saga So about Superstar Saga.
Is it functional on the NSO Emulator? These games have a lottof precise action commands and I'd hate to screw up due to emulator enduced input lag.

Discussion I feel like if brothership ever had giant bosses, these would be them
I feel like the great conductor would've been one in a zeekeeper sort of way
And we always gotta have at least one of them being a literal in game level

Discussion I replayed Superstar Saga and Partners in Time recently. I think the games have aged pretty well.
I replayed Superstar Saga and Partners in Time recently. I think the games have aged pretty well.
Partners in Time:
I replayed Partners in Time first. One of my issues with it when I first played it was that it was non non-linear like Superstar Saga. A remedy for this that I found was doing a challenge run where I don't fight any enemies and am thus underleveled. The reason this works is that it turns every area into a challenge gauntlet where I can die n one hit due to a bad first strike from an enemy, so linear-non-repitive sections are a Godsend. I am also grateful to have gotten all 50 coins on a bros block: something I dreamed of since childhood (Thank you Jesus). The best part was having to ACTUALLY master the bros items as I needed to spend an hour per boss fight (perhaps multiple for the final boss) and mastering the items meant I had less chances to be one-hit killed. Another benefit is that you can't simply use the Multi-flower on the final phase of the final boss and just win because your attack won't do enough damage and you need to instead rely on multi-hit moves, which are weak but add up.
I then played Superstar Saga next:
Some of the designs are atrocious. I don't know why this was acceptable back in 2005 but... I agree that the later remake removed the uniqueness of this game's design. What impressed me about Superstar Saga was how janky it felt. I had a hard time knowing if I had mastered a jump or hammer attack because the game just doesn't give you a "strong feeling" of you hitting maximum damage... but this didn't matter to me since I mostly used bros moves and the two hands attacks. I really recommend replaying Superstar Saga because one of the best parts is realizing you're an adult and can find hidden blocks and notice the noticeable-but-not-quite bean holes and holes only mario can see. It's a very enlightening experience walking across the overworld and finding the <!>, and digging — you find yourself surpassing everything the young you saw, in the game. Anyway, I thought the game was fun and the bosses again took an hour to beat. I had save states when I replayed this so I didn't have to worry about accidentally running into enemies (and losing coins) thanks to the switch's rewind feature. I think in the end, the bros items from Partners in Time are perfect, but Bros attacks in this game, while flawed, have a higher skill ceiling and can be much MORE satisfying.

Bowsers Inside Story Mushroom Balls
I'm playing the 3DS remake of Bowser's Inside Story, and I'm trying to find all the mushroom balls, but there's one I can't find. I have bounced around and checked every nook and cranny multiple times. I eventually gave up and used a guide and checked every location on the guide and I still didnt find the last one. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a bug or am I just doing something stupid?
