Hi : ) I'm on the central coast in NSW and I've been really yearning for more close and supportive friendships. I'm 3 years on hrt and I keep talking myself out of showing up at the few local supportive venues lol. I'm way more comfortable in 1 on 1 friendships. I need to get out though! I'd love to just know if there's anyone around who'd be interested in chatting and seeing if we click? and maybe it'd be nice to try something new I'd usually be nervous to go to, or just to hang out irl without it being a big deal.

I'm a mostly-binary trans woman and I'd really just love to be included in some circles that are more queer or creative at all. I really regret not reaching out to other trans people irl earlier in transition X ) I have a few friends (one of them trans) but I don't feel like they really get any of my personal stuff. I'm a big yapper (I'm always that friend who thinks everything *is* that deep, it's not entirely intentional it's just how I'm wired). I used to have big time anxiety/mild agoraphobia which I've tamed a bit, and I like videogames and art and nerdy stuff. But I'm happy to learn about new stuff too or try new hobbies.

My biggest bugbear is I think good friendships take effort and change and aren't always comfortable, and I really like to be honest and direct. I've been struggling with leaning on being hyperindependent and keeping everything to myself for a long while so I would really love a change of pace in slowly working up to some friendships that are more honest and supportive : ) I try to keep myself from harping on the same things too much but it's really cursed doing this whole transition thing all alone lmao.

I have a lot of free time rn, I'm trying to get my ass into gear to study next year 😭 after running the therapy and voice training gauntlets for a little while being a functional organised adult is next lol. I wanna put more time into sports, hobbies, socialising, learning art, reading, being in nature and studying next year too : ) I'm frankly a bit of a loser rn so I'd absolutely love friends who can include me but also challenge me and do some difficult stuff together !!
