I mean, not everyone agrees, but it's within the majority at best.

Discussion While there's been controversy regarding Mario's recent voice actor change, one character I definitely believe was in need of a new voice was Luigi.

I think Luigi's Mansion 3 was the last game where Charles Martinet did new recordings as Luigi, and it was not a particularly great outing in my opinion.
By this point you could tell that the voice performance had deteriorated, where Luigi sounds weirdly nasally.
Also, I don't recall where it came from, but years ago I heard a clip of Charles doing an extended voice performance as Luigi, and it sounded so, SO bad, agonisingly so. It seems like Charles was losing his Luigi voice pretty hard.

Art I combined my two favorite childhood things: Mario 64 and Fear and Loathing 🎨🍄
I wanted to imagine what the Mushroom Kingdom feels like after Mario eats all them dang mushrooms😂
Hand-painted acrylic on canvas. Every little detail was painted by hand, all the way down to the Mushroom Kingdom landscape reflected in his glasses.
I grew up with Mario 64 and still play it regularly to this day, so this one was ridiculously fun to make.

Discussion Old Mario Photos I have from San Diego Comic Con 2015
So while I've been cleaning out my house, on one of my old flash drives I found some photos from 2015 that was relating to when Nintendo had their 30th Anniversary to Mario that I wanted to share along with my Morton Plushie I brought with me at the time.
This was when Splatoon was fresh hot and also when the Wii U was still new to people before the console of the Switch and so on took over.
I have that Morton Plushie in my house, but I got to clean it up to find him again. XD
I'll find him eventually.
Discussion Nintendo's Malicious Compliance
Did anyone else notice that whenever Nintendo made a Mario game around the 2010's that "gave the fans what they asked for", it always seemed to a bit bare-bones? It was like they were saying:
- You want classic Mario Party back without the car? Here, take a poorly curated minigame collection with only one tiny board where everyone moves at the same time! Oh, you meant the traditional, longer party mode? Take this unfinished game with four slightly less tiny boards and restrictive controls! It took a ridiculous number of half-measures for Nintendo to finally give us Jamboree.
- You want Paper Mario to return to turn-based combat? Here's a painfully uninspired game that takes the "paper" name too literally and ruins the old battle format with a poorly thought out gimmick! Oh, that was too bland for you? Fine, we'll sprinkle in a few more original characters and slap on another arts and crafts gimmick. Still not enough? We'll give you slightly more personality. You want the arts and crafts gimmicks gone? Too bad!
It really makes me wonder if someone at Nintendo thought this petty strategy would prove us wrong and force us to prefer their newer ideas. Then again, this could have just been the result of a lower budget or lower effort, rather than an intentional effort to piss us off. Whatever was going on here, I'm glad it seems to have (mostly) stopped. Are there any other examples of this pattern you can think of?

Question Is there a way to find actual decent level in Mario Maker 2?
I’m sick of starting endless mode only to have to sit through 5 auto levels for every 1 half decent level.

Discussion Cool idea for a future Mario game
Wouldn’t it be cool if the a future sandbox or open world 3d Mario game or RPG was set in a world where a corrupted bowser won and his minions took over and run things but want the old normal bowser back even if it means him not ruling the world anymore. Like already in Mario 64 there’s hints that whomps are to thank for roads and buildings but imagine if they were literally the workers installing roads etc widespread and it’s not just a funny extra detail but genuinely more of a world building element.
