ive been running this build for some time now and it feels really good
Basically EC->volt->cleaver->DD->either shojin or mr depending on the game
I swap eclipse and voltaic depending on the lane (usually voltaic if im into a mage) and depending on enemy team comp i sometimes go conq
The burst damage form eclipse and voltaic is insane, if you proc them at full hp with just the lvl1 W it deals 23% max health damage just from the passives while the eclipse shield usually gives enough survivability for early game skirmishes, and by the time you get DD and cleaver you are almost impossible to kill if you have your E up.

Is it still bait?

Ok so this is fucking nonsense that pantheon's empowered E has a hp scaling armor + mr addition like this does fucking nothing.

Like say you're diving someone and you killed him and then you pressed emp E to run away from tower's range but the armor did nothing because at the time it will only give u like 25 armor and if you're like low hp probably tower kills you .

But now instead of bonus mr and armor imagine we had damage reduction of 35%-45% for 2.5 seconds you will 100% success the dive thats why someone has to touch empowered E

like i mean i dunno you also can talk about your own ideas ofc there is some people thinks that balanced but its not about balance its about functionality.

I love the character. I draw my own profile pictures of him for every site. He's my laptop, phone, and cheap smartwatch background. I custom ordered a poster because they didn't have one big enough on the merch store. I genuinely cried reading In Battle, Broken (more for personal reasons at the time but still). I own every cosmetic except that one fuckass chroma I missed. I adore everything he is, and everything he stands for.

I also love his kit. It has a little of everything, including two of the rarest mechanics in the game (invulnerability and map traversal). It even counters the most annoying champions in the game.

But they could change his kit significantly, and I'd still play him. If for balance reasons they made W a skillshot/ground target or Q was half the width, or E lost its total immunity, I'd still play and enjoy him.

I'd say my feelings are 65/35, character/kit.

I'm curious where you guys stand.

I like hybrid(bruiser- assasin) playstyle bc this way i can oneshot adcs and mages but also wanna be able to fight the others. I always went sundered to voltaic mostly (changes when its a tank) since sundered got nerfed and eclipse got buffed what is the optimal starter items and core build with runes? Thxxx

Since Pantheon jungle only had 2 really good first items in sundered sky and voltaic cyclosword im wondering what pantheon jungle should build after they butchered sundered sky.

Since you cant go voltaic every game im just wondering, is it just cleaver first? I know this is something that personally works for me in both toplane and support but what about the items after cleaver.

Sundered sky is too weak to be good rn but especially in 3v3+ skirmishes not having that sustain hurts quite a bit. 3rd item onwards is once again relatively easy since you can just go deathdance and endless hunger or ga etc again.

the only 2 items that appear logical to me are spear of shojin or steraks.

they buffed steraks quite a bit so i can see it having some value especially since you will be overhasting if you go shojin towards the later stages of the build, but shojin also provides a lot of additional damage and provides a good amount of haste for your basic abilities, which is the most important part of your kit.

Or do you have any other ideas for build variants that a more bruisery pantheon jungle can go.

I have another idea for Pantheon. What if his ultimate was different?

Instead of a vehicle that allows him to traverse the entire map, what if his ultimate allowed him to leap into the air in 0.5 seconds and land in 0.5 seconds with a range 2.5 times that of his W, and passively offered 10%/20%/30% armor penetration like current ultimate, with a lower ultimate cooldown, but at a faster and shorter range?

Exchange of that, new ultimate wouldn't have a slow and a half spear damage. But would keep the current AOE magic damage, with a little higher AP rates so AP Pantheon would become a new fun option.

I also think they would be able to lower W's and E's mana cost by skill level like Darius E.

What do you guys think? I believe this would protect character's theme and would give riot a reason to increase his stats since he won't be able to play like Shen/Galio anymore.

In this game, there are roles that revolve around staying alive and killing. Supports can heal and shield while staying far away, allowing their allies to kill. There are several ways to do this: having armor or shields, using defensive skills, or healing in the top lane. Champions usually have shields and heal. Pantheon, to stay alive, has to stay far away and use a high-cost defensive skill with a high cooldown, in addition to having somewhat high armor. But in the top line, everything has armor penetration that breaks this for him. Skills that make him stay close, like dashes or pulls, or simply heal more, in addition to having true damage that completely ignores armor. So, after the nerf to his life regeneration, if he fails once, he's dead. To compare, Olaf has a shield, heals, penetration, and true damage, in addition to high regeneration.

To play Pantheon, I spend every match holding the minions as close to the tower as possible and poking. If the enemy manages to poke me back or pull the minions, I'm screwed. The same is not true for him, since before, his stacked W had damage. The magic that dealt more damage in the top lane because champions don't have magic resistance was replaced with damage to life, which is quite weak in the early game but can achieve around 12-15% damage every 5 or 8 seconds in the late game, which isn't bad.

how does one kill this creature. i can usually fuck him up pre level 6 but as soon as he gets that 15 second cooldown ult it’s just over for me. and it’s especially over when he gets ravenous hydra and can just out heal any Q poke. how do you guys beat him

I put together a light mini-rework concept aimed at trading some of his oppressive early burst for sustain and better mid-to-late game scaling:

Q – Comet Spear:

Base Damage: 70/100/130/160/190 ➔ 50/85/120/155/190

Execute Base Damage: 155/230/305/380/455 ➔ 115/200/285/370/455

[NEW]: Landing a Tap-Q on enemy champions heals Pantheon for 10/20/30/40/50 (+12.5% Bonus HP).

- Healing does Not increases by per additional champion hit.

- Note: Does NOT heal on minions/monsters, and does NOT increase with empowered Q.

W – Shield Vault:

Max HP Damage: 6/6.4/6.8/7.2/7.6/8% ➔ 4/5.25/6.5/7.75/9% (AP and Bonus HP ratios remain unchanged)

First, I apologize for not finishing the Dragonslayer one yet. I got sidetracked on this other piece. I don't want to show a WIP of the entire thing because it'd ruin the surprise, but I do have this for now.

Seriously, you're saying Pantheon is brain-shutting? So many champions have completely overpowered kits, but some people think Pantheon is broken? Olaf has penetration on hit, Q shield, passive healing, and true damage. Pantheon only gets 10% penetration at level 6. Darius at level 9 has 35 penetration if you level up the skill. Besides giving DoT healing, he has very good wave clear and is tanky. Pantheon could benefit from any change that would make him a little better, like a mana increase, because if you use 1 (e) you're done for, you've lost the lane because you're out of mana. That is, if any 128348 champ with a dash simply hits from behind.

i’m a newer pantheon player and i’ve really really enjoyed him. i seem to struggle way more in lane rather than late game which is usually the opposite for me and im really bad with his ult but im learning and hes super fun. i wanna know what the basic lethality build is. there’s one on u.gg but idk if that one is correct because the main build it shows for my main, we dont actually use so idk if this one is correct. im also kinda scared to use lethality because i wont have any healing so i might get nuked during trades but we’ll see, thanks!

I remember his lore used to describe Pantheon falling to Aatrox, while Atreus regains control over his body and takes up the name Pantheon. Yet it seems to have changed again according to the official biography on Riot's website.

Some things I’ve noticed is that a lot of other players in Plat and below (I have played in every Elo Plat and below) don’t understand that Panth Ult can’t be cancelled or moved once it is going. They also tend to think my stun has a much larger range than it actually has. Lastly lower Elo ADCs tend to let you die when you go in but if you play carefully you “aren’t doing anything” which is a rough spot.

Just fp him, the enemies will think you are sup or anything else and will never trully counter you on purpose.

But the long range mages counter pantheon! My friend, the mages are bot waiting for you to ult them! You will find assasins at mid, which will get cucked by our spartan.

In case there is indeed a mage in the midlane, buy bruiser items (so you are harder to kill if you cannot even reach them) and flash W the shit of them when jg comes. Or just ult bot even if you sell a wave, no one will stop your 7 items Cait.

Top panth: Not bad, but cannot ult bot therefore not able to tilt the enemy Draven, which wins the game after doing it twice.

Jg pant: The champ was amazing there but the clear got giganerfed and now is ass, can make a comeback when rito changes the funny Q number vs monsters

Mid: Yes

Adc: Eh idk but I will guess you can cheese Samira or Nilah, else your ass will probably get kited

Sup: The stun is nice but it's funnier to use E to block 0 dmg while your ADC is the one getting slapped

This could get me out of lowmasta but rito will send me 8/10 times to the toplane. Opinions may be slightly biased as I played midlane for about 14 years

Imagine if he had full armor, maybe I'm biased.
