’ve always been very interested in Final Fantasy. Years ago, I played *Final Fantasy VII Remake* and absolutely fell in love with it. After that experience, I tried playing *Final Fantasy X*, but unfortunately, it didn't click for me—I didn't like the turn-based system. So, I stopped playing the series for a while. Before I quit, I had wanted to try the original *FFVII*, but the fact that it wasn't available in Italian put me off completely. This year, I bought a pretty good laptop because I was heading to Japan for a year abroad. Once I arrived, I discovered that my host sister is obsessed with Final Fantasy (she actually owns a few of the games), which reminded me of my great experience with *FFVII Remake*. I asked her for a recommendation, and she suggested the original *FFVII*, explaining that I could download an Italian patch for it. I decided to download it with the patch and have fallen in love with the game; I’ve even installed high-resolution graphics mods, which makes the experience even better. My plan now is to play the original *FFVII*, *FFVII Remake Intergrade*, and *FFVII Rebirth* (I’ve decided to replay *Remake* because I don't remember much of the plot). In the meantime, my host sister and I bought *FFXV* together and are playing it as a team (we’re having a lot of fun with it). However, beyond *VII* and *XV*, I’d like to try other games in the series—specifically a turn-based one, since I’m enjoying the original *FFVII* so much. Could you recommend a *Final Fantasy* game that isn't too overwhelming for a newcomer to the turn-based genre? Also, would you suggest playing it on PC or PS5?
Thanks a lot!
