Catalytic converter thefts were up at the time, and they were told the dollar would fund efforts to reduce those thefts. What they probably didn't expect was that a new Texas Tribune investigation would reveal the state spent tens of millions of dollars generated from that $1 fee on Flock cameras that keep everyone in the state under constant surveillance.

My family owns a small local print shop with 5 employees. Commercial printing has gotten tougher as larger companies are buying up the local shops, so I’m looking for ways to modernize what we offer.

I started an online stationery shop in 2020, which has helped a lot, but I’m interested in expanding into more print products.

What printed products would you actually buy?
Things for yourself, your business, your home, events, gifts, etc.

My goal is to move away from:

“Tell us what you need and we’ll send you a quote.”

And more toward:

“Here are the products we offer, here are some designs/templates, everything can be customized, and here are the prices.”

Curious what products you’d actually want to see from a shop like that!

Examples: Wedding Stationery, Calendars, Trading Cards, Journals, Etc.

A step in the right direction but woefully lacking. Almost feels like a cruel joke so they could say they passed something but is really a bunch of hot air. Of course the small subset of products this covers is beneficial and important but the mark was missed at large. I’m sorry if this has been discussed ad nauseam but honestly I’m extremely disappointed.

Border wall in San Ygnacio closing down a boat ramp and bank fishing spot that has been open to public through private land lease for over 50 years. Extremely small town, but still had about 30 people a week going to fish, right until they started threatening fishermen with arrest for "trespassing".
