My Europe Trip Got a Little Messy

I was enjoying my holiday in europe greatly until the time when i made one wrong move while walking and got myself a sore ankle. It was not much hurt but it became painful enough to make me unable to walk around all day.

I decided to visit tourist sights on the following day and now that i cant do everything according to my plan then i am very disappointed in myself. trying to give it a rest.

For those who have been through the same thing with minor sprain or joint ache on a trip then what was the most useful thing for you? Have you been resting for some days, visiting pharmacy or taking advice from doctors

What nicknames have you heard for places in Europe?

I ask as part of a linguistic study covering this topic!

Examples could include things like (in a Swiss context) Lôz/Lauz Angeles (Lausanne), TschernoBiel, Neuch' (Neuchâtel) or Lutown (Luzern)...
