I built a LA28 tracker focused on country dashboards and qualifications

I kept finding myself switching between schedule PDFs and time-zone converters, so I built a small independent tool for LA 2028:

Games28 lets you browse the schedule in your local time, save country dashboards, follow verified qualification updates, and export confirmed sessions to your calendar.

It is free, independent, and not affiliated with LA28 or the IOC. I’m still improving it, so I’d genuinely love feedback: what would make this more useful as we get closer to 2028?

The fate of the Sarajevo olympics flame

Hi everyone, first and maybe last post on this subreddit, I just want to share that yesterday i take a taxi in my town and the driver, a bosnian, tell me that is dad carry the Sarajevo olympic flame in 1984 and now, this guy, the driver, as the flame in his basement in Sherbrooke, Québec. I you ever wonder what happen to the flame, now you know it. (As you can see, english his not my first language)

Should the Olympic Tennis competition have rules concerning grunting?

Ever since Jimmy Conners, grunting has been normal in tennis. I can understand why tennis players grunt. Even I grunt when I play tennis, but in recent history we have seen the grunting going too far in tennis. From Maria Sharapova to Michelle Larcher de Brito, we have been hearing grunting which is going too far. I feel that the Olympic tennis competition should have a certain level of decorum since it is the Olympics after all. I don't think you can ban grunting, but I think there should be rules against these excessive grunts that often sound like the cry of a Yorkshire terrier.

Should the Olympic tennis competition have rules established to regulate grunting? And if so, how can I be done?

- For example, posts about Milano Cortina's preparedness for the Games are fair game.
- Please remember that the athletes had nothing to do with what their governments are doing now.

- We have been overwhelmed in the past by readers arguing politics at the expense of those who want to talk about the Games.
- We simply cannot and will not allow this to happen anymore.
- There will be no warnings and we will have a very short trigger.

No Superfluous or Duplicate Posts

- There will be a stickied post in which you can complain about your broadcaster and tell everyone how much better somebody else's is, but unless somebody narrates the Parade of Nations after asking Mike Tirico on-air how many quaaludes constitute an overdose, no individual posts complaining about your television network are otherwise allowed.
No Posts about how the Medal Tally is Sorted
- Sports journalists in most countries sort the medal tally by total golds, but the practice in the United States is to sort by total medals. It has been this way for quite some time. The IOC and the Associated Press take no position on the difference. Ours should be set so that you can sort by personal preference. Stop whinging. If you simply cannot take it and need to vent, use the stickied broadcaster post.
- Please remember that no country "wins" the Olympics: it is the athletes who win.
