I made theofficedle.com - a daily The Office character guessing game with 3 modes!
Hi everyone!
I just created theofficedle.com, a browser-based game where you guess The Office character of the day with clues, across 3 different modes!

Heavily inspired by Wordle & LoLdle: It's one character a day, same for everyone who plays. You start typing character names and it tells you what you got right, department, branch, what season they first showed up, that kind of thing, going green or yellow until you land on the answer.
There are three ways to play:
- classic: the guessing grid with clues on every try 🟩🟧🟥
- quote: you get a line and have to name who said it 💬
- emoji: a character revealed one emoji at a time (brutal on the first emoji, obvious by the last, that's the whole fun) 😃
It's free, no login, works fine on your phone, and it keeps a streak going if you come back each day.
I'm still adding to it, so I'd love to know what you think, which characters or quotes I'm missing, and honestly how hard you thought Classic mode was!
Open to feedback and want to keep improving, so please share your opinions with me & feel free to comment/message me, enjoy! :)
EDIT: Wow, thank you all for the incredible response and feedback, I've been reading every comment. Already shipped a few updates based on what you said:
- added an archive so you can play past puzzles
- clarified the relationship status hint.
More coming (deeper-cut quotes and a possible new mode). Keep the suggestions coming, this community is making the game better. :D

Mod Post Mod Announcement - the Paper Spoilers
Hi all,
Since the Paper is about to release in a day and all the episodes will be released at once, we expect spoilers in regards to the Office (i.e updates on the Office characters, guest appearances etc.).
So we kindly request you to please use the spoiler tags when posting any spoilers from the Paper, and make sure the title does not give anything away.
For indepth episode discussion, there is a specific sub created - r/ThePaper.
I am keeping the comments open on this post if anyone has any questions. Thank you!

We needed more content of Creed as manager
By far the funniest moments of the show was the scenes of Creed being acting manager. I really wish we got some more content of this.

Dumb details from Dinner Party I just noticed
I might be the last person to notice these things but here I go anyway:
- Michael wore the same tie in Local Ad.
- There's a photo of a dog in a sploot on the cabinet next to Phyllis. Also appears in other episodes but you can see the dog well here.
- There are two similar paintings of the letter T by the front door and in the living room.
- The lit candles in the living room look like the bonfire-scented candles Jan thrusts in front of Jim's face later.
- Why is Andy wearing so many layers?
- The white orchid with a purple/violet center on the table beside the Dundies looks like a phalaenopsis orchid.
- At the dinner table, Dwight and his date have cutlery that don't match the others. Looks like they brought their own.
- After the poisoning comment, Pam's plate looks untouched even while some others are eating.
- Neighbours are outside their home watching the police arrive.

Favorite Dwight Quote
I’ll start: “Security in this office park is a joke. Last year I came to work with my spud gun in a duffel bag. I sat at my desk all day with a rifle that shoots potatoes at 60 pounds per square inch. Can you imagine if I was deranged?”
Shit always has me cracking up. Such a great quote that sums up Dwight so perfectly

So, was Andy's cousin trying to sleep with him?

Love this. I like to think they're still playing on the farm.

Does anyone know what is written on the poster with Erin's picture ?
I can read "Speed" "Erin Hanon" and "2013 Winner" or "2012 Winner", what did she won ?

What’s one thing Michael did that would get him fired immediately in any other office?
I know the obvious answers are probably going to be pretty wild, but I’m curious what moment you think crossed the line the most.
