Please tell me your predictions as to what early 20s year old Dooley is up to!
Maybe he’s a very snarky bartender or a barista. More likely the latter, since a good bartender can’t also be a snarky dick to his customer, while interactions with baristas are usually pretty brief.
He was in all those teasers and trailers and it seemed he would be a recurring character, but he barely appeared in season 1 and had zero screen time in season 2. I wonder what happened there
THEY SAY CHILDREN ARE A BLESSING BUT MINE ARE HOLY TERRORS.
" ( chuckling ) ( laughing ) OH, DOYLE HARCAVY KNOWS CHILDREN.
OF COURSE HIS DAUGHTER JUMPED OUT A WINDOW.
( laughing harder ) ( stops abruptly ) OH.
The character arcs are great but these little throwaway gags are my favorite aspect of the show.
I’m also really glad this show doesn’t have a laugh track.
I didn't really know which flair to use for this, but I picked this one because the island will mostly be based off of the original seasons.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons is a game where you're the only human on an island of animal characters, you get elected as the mayor, & you have to take care of the island while making friends with your neighbors. I kind of just use it as a decorating & gardening simulator though.
I think I'll make my player character (the human) to just be Bobby himself, & I wanted to have specific villagers to represent/correlate with other KoTH characters.
I knew that I wanted Hank to be represented by the villager called Angus because the pun was funny to me, & Angus also has the 'cranky' personality type which I also thought was kind of funny.
Initally I also wanted Peggy to be represented by a cow villager, & I almost settled on Norma because I thought she was cute. However, when I was looking through the villager lists afterwards, I discovered that there was actually a villager just named Peggy.
I don't know which villager to choose now. Choosing Peggy (the pig villager) to represent Peggy (the person) is so funny to me, & I think that people visiting my island would figure out who she's meant to represent quicker. But, I also still really like Norma. I don't know who to pick
My partner's never seen KOTH, and as a big fan, I'd really like to show it to them. But I'm at a loss as to what episodes best capture the spirit of the show for a newcomer!
What would have happened if Cotton showed up and saw Caleb? I think he wouldve made fun of Hank along with Caleb the first time, but later recognize how annoying and actually disrespectful he was. With a short fuse, what would Cotton have done at the BBQ when Caleb takes Hanks hat and nobody else does anything?
I think one of the funniest things about Peggy is how gullible she is despite her thinking she is so smart. Like how in Death and Texas, Peggy honestly thought a death row prisoner used to be one of her former students despite him being too old to be such and she ends up becoming an unwitting drug mule. Then there was the Substitute Spanish Prisoner where Peggy thought she was a genius just because she passed an online test which turned out to be rigged that anyone can pass it. Finally in Fun With Jane and Jane, Peggy easily falls under the spell of a cult just because the leader of it is able to flatter her.
There’s about a hundred or more instances of Hank not finding something funny when others do, what are some instances of him either finding something hilarious or at least declaring that something is funny? Can what his sense of humor even is be nailed down?
Tony Danza (tony DANZA Tony DanZA)
Propane-based humor that pokes fun at other heat sources
Kahn unwittingly making a bunch of double entendres about Bill and his mother having sex
The TV series Seinfeld
Bobby’s one joke written for Yakov Smirnoff, sort of (he never laughed but when retelling it to Kahn he at least acknowledged the joke itself is good)
In Season 3’s “A Firefighting We Will Go”, the subplot involves Peggy hiding a pulled groin muscle when she attempted a ‘fireperson’s carry’ with Bobby. During the credits we see her going through rigorous training to build it up, successfully lifting Bobby at the end.
In Season 6’s “Bobby Goes Nuts”, the climactic fight between Bobby and Peggy ends when Bobby’s only line of defense- a swift kick to the testicles- fails to incapacitate Peggy for unknown reasons.
Call it a theory, but I believe she’s got a strong groin due to the training she went through following her injury in season 3. What do you all think?
Throughout the show she thinks she fluent in Spanish but we seen how terrible she is but nobody has said anything about it not the school, principal Moss, or parents nobody in the episode.where she accidentally kidnapped Lupe and gets arrested the lawyer has her plea her case showing how bad her Spanish is basically humiliating herself infront of everyone and she doesn’t even realize that she can’t speak fluent Spanish. Later on we see Hank try to tell her but backs down. I don’t know how the parents didn’t say anything to her or to the principal about her terrible Spanish?
Having about the absolute worst day in a very very very long time and KOTH is one of my 2 comfort shows, what are the funniest episodes that may give me some joy ?
